Wait

Post by firstdiamond »

I'm in Europe so maybe they do things different. That and it was the first appointment available. I had the IVF done in Spain and I'm getting treated here in Holland so it's a different doctor. I think once I get seen the first time things will go normal again. Do you think I should retake the home pregnancy test again? I don't have any bleeding or anything so I assume things are still good....

I am a big time POAS addict so would definitely have taken the test again. Also i am not a very patient person. Am sure everything is good though for you. Keeping you in my thoughts.

trippsmomma-I am just starting now, I started BC pills last week and will start Lupron next week. Sorry Renee, I have you a month behind where you are...congrats on your ER coming shortly! YAHOO you are almost there!

There is also a Oct/Nov thread. I am the last week of Sept to the first week of Nov so I am on both. Lets stick together, what is your schedule like Trippsmomma? I do lupron for a couple of weeks, then follistim, then HCG, then I don't remember. Anyway, I have basic exams Friday, baseline ultrasound, SHG and mock transfer to measure my uterus for the ET. AAAHHHH!!! I am excited.

schedule

Post by trippsmomma »

Hey Babyhope, my schedule is starting stim's tomorrow for about 10 days... then HCG and ER around day 12... then depending if we do multi (day 3) or blast (day 5), we'll do our ET day 15-18... then the wait. How long before your ER? I'm nervous and anxious but excited about finding this board... to share my experiences and mood swings with.

Renee, hoping for a GREAT turnout tomorrow with your embies! Not sure how many my SIL, but I know she was 42 when she went through IVF (first time) and now has 6 year old twins. Good luck!

Renee, did you use anesthesia or just a local? When I tried my natural IVF (1 egg), I just used a local so I was able to watch the whole thing. DH and I went out for lunch that day too :) Glad everything went well!

S, that is GREAT! So excited for you!

Renee, they did ICSI to all of ours (our issue has always been DH's low count) and I would not worry about it. My friend has triplets via ICSI (poor morphology) and they are all perfectly healthy. The main concern is when it IS a male factor there is a chance that a son may also have fertility issues in the future. However, if your DH is fine, I really don't think you have anything to worry about. Congrats on the two embies and good luck with your transfer!

I'm in the fun waiting game right now. It's the whole, "Oh yea, I have that symptom! Whoo hoo!" and then it's gone the next day. You know, the fun of analyzing EVERYTHING only to be brought back to reality that you really can't because who the heck knows?! Ah well, less than a week now...

smattison and renee, congrats. that is great news. lots of baby dust u're way. Renee, we have always done ICIS because of my husband's low morphology but the doctor said it is perfectly safe. So i would not worry. Good luck to both of you and all u other ladies out there.

I am waiting to go in for my lining check on monday so will keep u posted on the results.
