I hear you Dakota. It has been 2 MONTHS since we have seen her or him, and I really am just on pins & needles awaiting to see the changes. Our family and friends are just dying too, as they want to see how the little one has changed. We've set up a website so we can post for everyone since most of our immediate family members are all in different states!

Hope all the rest of you ladies are having a good week so far!

ftg- 2 more days!!!

Neffi- getting closer!!

Well, we havent had the greatest few days. If ya'll remember my dog that had cancer? We had to have her put down yesterday. It was horrible, but today I am at peace knowing it was the best for her. The other dog is doing well so far without her. He hasnt done anything weird yet (they have never been seperated).
So because of the drama, I couldnt eat for two days, now today I am freaking out that I may have hurt my little girl. I heard the HB yesterday and had some plutters last night and this morning, but I am still freaked out!!

Anyone showing yet? I still just have that in between look, like I've just gotten fat.

Hope all is well with everyone. Its been a ghost town on here lately.

DAKOTA- I'm sorry to hear about your dog. You don't have anything to worry about since you couldn't eat. The baby takes what it needs from your body. Everything will turn out ok! :D
Ohhh yes I'm showing! We've passed the in between stage. The baby bump is out there for everyone to see!

Had my amnio done on Monday. This was the 2nd time. Te first time was a HORRIBLE experience! My uterus was still pretty low in my pelvis so when they attmepted to get the fluid it was painful. It didn't help that the baby was moving everywhere and pushing the fluid out of the way! However this time was a BREEZE! Because my belly has popped the dr. was able to go above my belly button and viola got what he needed! It wasn't bad at all! So if anyone else out there has to have this done there is NOTHING to worry about! Now we are in the 10 day waiting hold to find out the results....this is almost as bad as the 2 week waiting period after IVF!

Hope everyone is doing great!

Hi Ladies - Well it's official, we're having a GIRL!!! We found out last Monday when they did the u/s with our amnio, but we wanted to wait for the official amnio results to confirm. They called today and our little girl is wondeful and healthy, such a relief! I had to leave work and cried the entire way home..after 8 years of trying, we're going to have a healthy beautiful girl! Other than that, I'm feeling absolutely great and really enjoying the 2nd trimester. We don't get to see our little girl for another 3 weeks, so that's the tough part right now.

Dakota - I'm so very sorry to hear about your dog, my heart goes out to you. Take care of yourself and your little girl.

I'll have to do more personals later, I'm just too jazzed to be on the computer anymore right now. Think I'll go eat a cinnamon roll to celebrate our great news today :)

I hope everyone else is doing great!!

Conrats Angram! Agreed there are LOTS of girls here, my goodness! What a cool thing to watch, and I'll have to say I'm really amazed.

I went to an open house for new homeowners last night. It was disguised as such because my husband's work friends are now pregnant. I kind of thought so a few weeks ago, but didn't say anything. She is 2 wks behind me and they are having a girl. Then, come to find out more ladies there are pregnant I didn't know about! Another one is having a girl, 3 wks around me, then the other one is 1 week behind me, and she finds out first week in Oct, then I find out tomorrow! All the husbands were ecstatic of course, but they egged my DH on to say "break the streak man, have a boy!"

Well, we will see tomorrow!

Dakota-I just missed the news about your dog and I am sad to hear about it. You did the right thing. I am sure you gave it a loving life, and now you at least know that your other dog is going to hav a little sister to play with!

Hope all ladies are feeling well, and taking it easy. Hard to believe its half-way through!! :)

Hi Everyone

Dakota - So sorry about your dog. I think that would be extremely difficult at any time but add the pregnancy hormones it had to be heart wrenching.

Congrats Angram on your baby girl.

Hopeful - I am so glad your amnio went well. Good luck. Congrats on your baby girl.

Speaking of lots of baby girls. When I was at my Dr. appt last week the nurse told us before we had the ultrasound that we were having a girl. I asked her why she said that and she told me that they have over 150 patients for Feb and March and they are all girls. She said there are no boys being born in 2009. I thought that was pretty funny. Except for the few boys here I don't know any one who is having a boy.

Well for me I have had a pretty good week. Still having aches and pains but I think I felt by baby girl this week. I thought I felt her Monday night but wasn't sure. Then yesterday at work I was sitting in a meeting and it felt like my stomach was having a little muscle spasm which lasted for about 2 minutes and it happened again last night. I am not absoluetly sure but if it is her I want it to happen all the time.

Does everyone have their names picked out. I know Dakota is going with Gracie (which is beautiful).
We are going with Ariana Ellen. I heard Ariana when I was 16 on an episone of Star Trek Next Generation and loved it and have waited all these year. Ellen is mine, my aunt's, my grandma's and my great grandma's middle names so I want to carry it on.

One other quick note for those of you that are having girls. I was at walmart last week and they had little girl summer rompers on clearance for $1 and $2 bucks. Can't beat that deal. I love clearance. Sorry I didn't see anything for the boys. That is always the way it is.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Well, it looks like we'll have to crack the streak as we are having a BOY!!

They said everything on the scan looked great, and because he's measuring right along, and see no issues, I'll just be going back to my OB from now on vs this advanced age maternal/fetal medicine office for u/s's (I'm 37). We're so glad no matter what because after all we've been through we did not care one bit if boy or girl. Funny, DH thought the whole time girl; since day one. I only had one very quick dream I saw a little tiny baby boy that was mine, and otherwise never thought about it. So glad to be able to tell everyone, get new pictures, and just see the little man moving around! He put a lot of hands on face, and even smiled for us near the end!

Very happy days for all of us finding out, and more surprises ahead for those who are not!

Everyone have a great weekend...our weekend is pretty full. And yes, off to finish the registry now that I know who we are expecting :)

Hi everyone -

Dakota I am sorry for your loss of a pet. I know that they are family. It is always thehardest thing but I to argee you did what was best. And do not worry about the other dog she will be lonely but she will come around.

angram - tarabella and the others congrats on baby girls

ftg YEAH you join the boy club with me. My two are growing up a strom. I have my OB appt yesterday and everything seemed fine. We did not get any new pictures as we get those from the perni on Monday but my blood persure is good and no protein in my pee and everything checked out ok EXCEPT!!!!!! for one little thing. My OB said I was to big. Yep ladies I have gained to much wieght apparently. And honest I am not eating a lot or even unhealthy. We do not eat junk food but I guess its all the carbs as I have been off meat for a while.

Anyways she said that the best is 5 pounds or so a month for twins and I have gained 12 since my last appt. 12 POUNDS I am a small pony. Oh well. She said not to worry but to try not to gian much for the time being.

Sure lets see how that goes. Anyways congrat again to all and I am glad that everyone is doing so well

Genessa-That's awesome they're growing right on time, and all is good. Don't worry about your weight gain. Possibly there is a higher time to gain weight (earlier) and you may just even out on your own as the months progress? Not having done this before I don't know, but just keep getting your vitamins and protein and I'll bet everything will work out perfectly!

I think we are, and will continue to be outnumbered by the little girls. They always say you can't get enough of them, as there are less boys needed to keep love going around, but now I'm not so sure! I think I went pretty neutral on all my registry stuff too. I'm not a huge decorator, but do want to do some homemade decorations and crafts for his room. That part I know will be fun!!

Ftg - I know what you mean about byos vs girls they are out numbered.

I am not the best decorator either. We registered for rainforest print pretty nuteral. I did not want to go with the sports just yet. DH will be all about that forever and I need time to have little babies not little ball players.

If you want I am registered at babies r us its under Stamp/Genni you can look it up if your curious. I think I am going to paint their room green and leave it at that. I might put up a boarder I registered for it but I am not sure I will use it. I dont want to cluter the room as its small already and will be shared by them both.

I hear you Genessa. Thanks for your idea of registry, and you are welcome to view mine too even though I'm still at it. Its Lori/Shaun Cox as co-registrant. I think I'll have to spend a little time thinking about the crafts before I head to the craft store. I'm sure folks with give us some sporty stuff which is fine, but I'm really into the outdoors, so we kind of want to get more plant/animal theme going. We'll see how it all turns out!

Gennessa - You're cracking me up, you're not a small pony!! I do understand the weight gain thing though, I'm there with ya and I'm only having one! :) I'm 5'8 but have always had a small build, so the weight gain is totally messing with me. I'm good with gaining it in the belly, I'm all about that, but what's up with the ass??? I'm just trying to walk as much as I can to keep the fat portion off and the rest is up to genetics I'm thinking. Good luck to you and don't worry, you're just making a nice comfy home for the kiddos :)

ftg - Congrats on the boy, that is excellent news! Don't you just love the "advanced age" title..I'm 36 and have been called the same thing, what's up with that! :) I see a regular OB though and eveything is going great, so I figure just getting my weight back down after delivery will be the only problem with being older, other than that I don't see my self as old :)

Tarabeltwo - Wow, I cannot believe there are so many girls at your Dr's office, that's crazy. There are 4 of us pregnant at work and I'm the only one having a girl. I'm so happy you got to feel your little girl this week, that is awesome. I keep thinking I feel my little one move as well, but I'm just not positive. It's mostly when I'm walking around, so I'm not sure if it's stretching or she's moving. I'm gonna go with it's her moving though :) DH and I haven't even started talking about names yet, so I need to get on that. The name Ariana is beautiful!

Happy weekend to everyone!

Hey everyone.....well tomorrow is the big day. I am getting nervous now that it is here. I just want everything to look okay in there. It's been since 9 weeks that we have seen him/her! I'm sure everything is fine, but I am a crazy person and will be a mess all day tomorrow. Our appt isn't until 5 :30 and then we are going to dinner with the family, so I wont be able to post until late. Everything is telling me there is a boy in there....but I will know soon enough. We put together the changing table and crib this weekend.....and then found out we can't get the crib through the bedroom door! So now DH is going to have to take the back off the get it into the room once it is painted. We have soooo much to do, and I feel like I need to get it all done before the holidays.....if I wait til after I think it will be too close. Although I know my shower is going to be either the first or second weekend in January....my mom wont tell me, but I've narrowed it down. Well I hope everyone is doing well....I am feeling great. My belly is growing, but luckily I have only gained 1 lb! I was about 20lbs overweight to start with so I think my stress weight is finally coming off! How much has everyone else gained????
