Well ladies, I'll send baby dust your way because apparently it never landed on me

Decided to test this morning (tomorrow would be 2 weeks from ER) and it was definitely negative. AF came about an hour later, so it's official. I still have to go in for my beta Thursday (hooray for one more person telling me it didn't work!), but alas, it's a no go on this end. I had a 50% chance of it working due to my age, and I just got the short end of the 50.

Oh well, I'll take today to be blue and then move on. I think we're going to give it one more go in a few months and then put this chapter of our lives to rest. We've already been so blessed and I've had my eye on another adoption for awhile anyway...I was just hoping to do it AFTER having a bio kid!

Good luck to everyone...I hope this group ends up having a lot more BFPs than BFNs!!

babyluv: really sorry to hear about your test. hang in there and keep thinking about the next one. i know it is easier said than done but i have been thru two already and it gets better as u prepare for the next cycle.

Renee and Smattison: how are u ladies doing? hope you are getting plenty of rest.

Well as for me, i went in for my lining check to day and everything looks good. my lining is at 10mm and i start my PIO shots tonight. So dreading it. My husband is traveling so i have to figure out how to give it myself. If everything goes as planned and my one embryo survives the thaw then i will do the transfer on friday. has anyone had any luck wih one frozen embryo? just trying to stay positive but at the same time preparing myself for the next steps.

Baby dust too all of you ladies.

Hi ladies - I love to read about everyone's updates. It really helps to calm my nerves because I know so little about what is going on.

I have my first ER tomorrow and I have no idea how many follies are in there. As of Friday I had 21, with only 6 of these on the left. But already by Saturday leftie had caught up! At this point my RE seems more concerned with size than quantity. I guess I'll find out tomorrow when the ER is over!

So many people on the board seem to know exactly what is going on and when things are going to happen. I didn't know until my u/s Saturday that I would be ER tuesday and I still have no clue when ET will be!

I really feel for all of you who are in 2ww as I haven't even retrieved yet and every day seems excruciating with the waiting!!! I don't know how I'll make it through ET and then 2ww. I guess I can look forward to no more shots

smattison - feel free to add me to the list. I don't have much to add at this point - but maybe after tomorrow, I will.

Goodness, I took 3 days off and you gals added like 3 pages! Sorry I have been out of the loop but for good reason. First of all, I had injection training on Thursday 9-25 - fun fun! I got to stick myself in the belly and DH got to poke my backside. He was shaking. Anyway, it went well, if you can even say that.

What didn't go well was the basic tests the next morning. I flunked them so I can't move forward with IVF at this time. I had the HSG saline ultrasound. Looks like I have two tumors or polyps in there. I now will have surgery to remove them. I pray its not cancerous. I will keep you posted. I am waiting for a call today to schedule surgery this week.

I was supposed to start stims tonight. Looks like yet another obsticle in the road for me. I still have hope...

I guess this is where I belong. I will be going for my 3rd IVF ER/ET at the end of october. After 1 IVF and a FET with no postive I'm sooo ready for a postive! I'm sure the rest of you are too!! Good luck to us all!!

babyluv-I am so sorry...Boy do I know how hard it is but I can say you can move one. It always helped me to plan the next cycle or have something to look forward to. Good Luck!!!!

babiesgalore-You can do it..I had to once when the doc told me I needed something during the day and DH was at work. It took me forever but I did it and I was so proud of myself...LOL

babyhope1-This is just a set back not the end...once you have surgery you will be good to go!!! Please keep you chin up and us posted!

As for me we transferred 3-B quality blast and I hope like hell at least 1 keeps growing!!! 4th times a charm??? I am staying in bed for 3 days since it worked for me last time...it is also nice having people waiting on me..hehehe

renee-last time it took me 10 days and I took the same dose as you! Implantation should be today or tomorrow then you will start producing HCG! I took my shot the same night and it is not out of my system yet either. vGood luck!

You won't believe it!! I have twins!!! Last night I had some bleeding so I went to the ob early. They did an ultrasound and it was amazing!! One measures 6 w 1 day and the other 6 w and 2 day!! We saw a heartbeat on both. Still early so a lot can still go sour but they said everything looks fine now. No more bleeding so hoping it stays that way!!! I working on my retirement papers so I can stay home and be mom!! I'm 41 and in the military. I have two grown children from my first marriage and have been trying for over 10 years for this to come true for my current husband. I get a chance to actually stay home and raise my children after 24 years of working! I'm so exstatic!!!

firstdiamond - CONGRATULATIONS! How exciting to be pregnant with twins - and I am sooo jealous that you get to retire too : ) Best wishes to you and both your little ones.

I had me ER yesterday and they got 9 eggs. They'll call today with the fertilization report so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I still don't know when ET will be - the doc said anytime between days 2 and 6. Doc said she and the embryologist look at the embies every day and make a decision and that I'll know the day before when transfer will be.
