Hi ya

All this talk of steamy baths is making me jealous!! I nearly burst my eardrum this morning as was cleaning ears with cotton bud (you know the ones that say do not insert in ear)! when the shower rail came crashing down which made me jump and i pushed the cotton bud right into my ear, I thought it was gonna go right the wat through!! Bloody painful!!!
Anyway have decided to follow your grown up advice and stick with the showers. I was also told by the clinic today that we shouldn't have sex til after the 12 week mark!!!!! Dh is gutted bless him, hopefully by the time 12 weeks is here he'll of forgotton what its like and I'll be safe til after the birth!!! (Only joking)!
It still feels weird being over this side - roll on the 27th.
Juliana, I hope your cold is getting better, take it easy.
Am off to bed now as am v tired

Dawn we were told to refrain too until after 12 weeks, the problem is by the time 12 weeks arrived I was so ill the most I could do in bed, was crawl out to go to the loo to be sick! Then by the time the sickness had stopped (16wks) I looked and felt too pregnant......and now I don't care what the books say, I don't think it would be physically possible (without having a very active imagination!!!)

So you never know.........it could be a long old wait!!

IT's funny how all the clinics say different -they say at ours it is fine to have sex after the 6/7 wk scan so thought make the most of it - trouble is I was knackered most of the time and then sick - thought get some in before I am huge (which I was hoping is soon - not to avoid sex just to be huge!!)

Hi Girls

For the 1st 12wks sex was the last thing on my mind but now the sickness has settled down and I feel well I've gone a bit rampant, I don't know if it’s those extra hormones whizzing around my body but with a little imagination I having a bloody good time! Mind you I go very light headed afterwards

Good on you - all quite normal. Make the most of it I reckon - can't get my pg brain around shopping let alone positions for large bumps.......... and swinging from a chandelier does not sound an option - especially as I don't hvae one
