Welcome to the group amfmbaby! Is this your first cycle?

babyluv - Renee is right - you definitely have time on your side - 6 months will fly by in no time. I turn 35 in 6 months and I feel like I'm racing against this date - which is stupid because based off of my egg quality from this last cycle, my body probably already thinks it is 35!

I work full-time and I am pursuing an MBA part-time. I have 33 weeks left until I graduate....I keep reminding myself that my only goal is to be pregnant before I graduate. (As soon as I graduate the 'when are you going to have kids' questions will start ROLLING in.) When I think of it that way - I am able to deal with the thought of a failed cycle.

Speaking of which - I know I'm supposed to have PMA, but I don't think this cycle is successful. I'm ok with that - I know most 1st cycles don't take. I'm going to start acupuncture as soon as I get my BFN wednesday. If I remember correctly, my beta is wednesday, bubbles13 is on friday 10/17, and babiesgalore is on thursday? 10/16?

So, yesterday DH announced that he thinks we should sell our house and buy a more expensive house. So much for being supportive!!! ; ) I had to remind him that between work, travel, school, ivf, the ECONOMY and HOUSING MARKET, that putting our house on the market and finding and buying a new house just wasn't something I could handle at the moment. What was he thinking???!!!

amfmbaby - sorry, I forgot to answer your questions! After ET I went directly to work. My work consists of sitting at a computer and attending meetings - and my RE said this was perfectly fine. They didn't have me lay for 20 minutes or anything. I had ET on a friday, so I worked half a day, then pretty much lolled around home for the weekend. So, to sum it up - I had no rest required by my RE.

If your hCG trigger shot was on 10/6, then most of the hCG should be out of your system by 10/16. This is probably still too early to see a BFP on an HPT if you are pregnant - but it is possible. Good luck!

BTW: I had 10 eggs retrieved and 8 fertilized - but only 2 made it to day 3 as viable, one 6 cell and one 8 cell. I'm still in 2ww so I don't have a success story to share yet, but from what I understand - it only takes one!

Hey girls I am back and feeling kinda crampy. The traveling was hard and I wish I was in bed.

My RE suggests 24 of bed rest and has you lay flat with your bed tilted and you head down for 1 hour and then you can go home. I stayed in bed for 3 full days and did acupuncture. I think everyone is different and bed rest can't hurt!!!

How was everyone's weekend???

smattison - you must be exhausted! Not sleeping well, being in your first trimester :) and probably carrying multiples!

I have felt more tired than normal the past couple days (can you say symptom obsession anyone?) and fall asleep without a problem - but I have been waking up earlier than I normally would - especially considering how tired I've been.

I do get tired before AF, so it could be that too - but waking up early has me stumped! :?
