Good Morning ladies!! Well this PIO is kicking my butt, sore BB, cramping and a little sick to my stomach. I know not to look at these as any signs of anything but boy is it hard, well it just helps with the PMA!! Oh and by the way the spotting stopped, yah!

sprouthaus: sorry I forgot to answer your question about the rating, I am not really sure but I do know that I is the best and maybe anything lower than III they do not use?

Harleyhoo: good luck on your transfer today! Blasts are good! I have been looking at the BFPs and most are from Blasts.

anfmbaby: we are going to wait this out together!! I am sure glad there is less than one week left!

Love, Luck and Babydust to all![/quote]

hi everyone,

the ET went very well today - I DID the laser acupuncture and it was great! It really calmed me down & hopefully it will help me get a BFP! If anyone has the opportunity to participate in it... I highly suggest...

We had two beautiful blasts transferred and we will be freezing the other 4. All 6 were doing well, as of today...

SO... that puts me in the 2ww!!!!!!
I have to have bw done this Sunday to check on Progesterone levels... and the first beta will be on Sunday, 10/26.. the countdown begins.

Baby dust and best wishes to everyone,

Well it is TWINS!!!! I snuck in for a covert u/s and we could see 2 sacs. She is a friend and she does not do OB anymore, only GYN, so her u/s machine is not very good ...but we saw sacs and I am only 5w2d...so sacs are good!!!

Everyone else sorry, I just have been to busy to post..... I enjoy following your stories though.... I have so much hope for everyone.

I had another ultrasound and both mine are doing fine. One she couldn't get a clear picture of because of the position but still two strong hearts.

Ok ladies dh and i have been discussing this journey and comparing it everyone else these are some things we are concerned with.

1 our et was done by nurse practitioner re was on family emergency.
2 it was a blind transfer no u/s used.
3 nurse let us leave 15 mins after transfer

some of the smaller things no picture of embie offered we don't have acupuncture or anything offered to us to make us more comfortable and it seems impersonal every time we call or visit dh heard re talking after er he didn't puncture my uterus to get to the ovary to get the eggs this was only my first time i'm sorry but to me that sounds like i'm a paycheck and he doesn't give a squat he has the nerve to ask me why i am crying post er well when i went to sleep i had nine eggs and now only 2 how insensitive i thankfully have good insurance that is fitting the bill for this but who cares i would use my life savings and beg for money if i had to. does this seem out of the norm if i get bfn you bet i will questioning these protocols i don't like this one bit

who knows maybe i am just ranting tonight.

Hi Gang! Busy weekend! I had my RE consult and first AP appt's friday, then I was at my sister's house helping with the newborn and her toddler (I swear she is the most active toddler on the planet). Plus, their house is still under construction - ugh. It helps me have peace with the waiting and the BFN!

amfmbaby - I don't know what to say about your ET. I don't have enough experience to know if any of those things matter. My RE doesn't have me lie down for 20 minutes - there is no proof that this makes a difference and ghost has said that many times. After all - women get pregnant all the time running, walking, lifting, etc..... I'm sure the NP is qualified to to your ET - they wouldn't have her as a backup if she wasn't good at what she did. They need their success rates to be good to get future business! They wouldn't let her do ET if she wasn't able to get successful BFPs!!!!!!!! Try thinking about all the good things in your life and make a list if you need to. PMA is really important right now. Also, for ER - I don't know why your RE would need to puncture your uterus to get to your ovaries - they should be accessible directly through the vaginal wall, from what i understand.

[/b]smattison - CONGRATULATIONS - Twins are amazing - stay healthy and get plenty of rest. I am soooo happy for you - keep us posted as you move forward.

BG - Glad to hear your betas are rising well. I think of you and your story a lot and get a smile everytime I think of your BFP.

So, I spoke with RE on Friday and we're changing my protocol - I think we're moving to a 'flare-up' protocol because she wants more eggs. She considers me a 'low responder' but I have good FSH levels. I was glad to hear that she thinks we can get more eggs. More eggs = more chances for BFP, right!? I'm on BCPs now and will take them for the next 5 weeks straight - that is kind of weird, but we are doing it that way because of our 9 day vacation (nov 15-24). This way, I should be able to start the protocol AS SOON as we're back from vacay then do ER and ET during the 2nd or 3rd week of December. I go in next week for my timeline teach - so I'll learn more then. So, I'm officially in IVF cycle #2 - but it will be a long one because of this darn vacation

First appt with my AP went great. I've had my first treatment and it went well - I do have a problem with lying still for 30 minutes though! I like to go go go! This will be an interesting experience - the treatment is different during the different phases of IVF - I'll go in about once every 5 days during the BCP part ($$$ adding up quickly....), then it is different during stims, and of course the ET day. She also works with a masseuse that does a fertility massage and she recommended this too. I'm REALLY looking forward to this :) . Anyway, I have confidence that between the new protocol from the RE and the AP that I am going to get lots and lots of good eggs.

I'm going to keep coming back here to the bunch of you - but I suppose once I have my timeline - I'll look into a Nov/Dec board. Anyone else with a BFN think they'll be there?

xoxo

Sprout-

I am on the Nov Dec board with you! Remember, I was the girl that failed her Sonohystogram where they found polyps. I had surgery and it turned out to be residual placental tissue from my miscarriage of twins, the area where they attached. Interesting because I didn't have any implantation bleeding and they sure attached strongly!

So, I have been on BC pills following this board for nearly 6 full weeks. Well, I passed my baseline ultrasound and post operative follow up. Thee women on the Nov board changed the title from Oct Nov to Oct Nov Dec because many were delayed. There are almost twice as many women on that board which surprised me with the holidays and all. However, like my mom said, you do what you have to do, put yourself first. So we are not taking a break and it actually has all our firends distracted so we don't have to worry about fibbing too much (I just don't think its anyones business what happens between my legs). We will save about $3K by not traveling during the holidays in airfair and rental car/hotel.

Anyway, you all are welcome to join the board with me!!! Here is to having a Christmas wish!

babyhope - So glad to hear that I'll know someone on the next board. I took a glance and it is BIG! Hopefully, all of the action will help keep everyone distracted during their 2ww.

I totally agree with you about 'no one's business what happens between my legs". My husband and I have told only one person we are doing this (my bff). It is just so much easier to not have to answer questions about the process - I have a very large, very nosy extended family.

I'll come find you once I understand what my cycle will be like and when I'm likely to start.

Congrats again on your surgery - things are looking really good for you!!

Thanks babyluv. I am so thrilled with the numbers. :D My doctor has asked me to come in this week for the ultrasound so getting worried now as to why he wants to see me so early. But so far things have been going so great that i am trying to maintain my positive attitude.
