Congratulations Trippsmomma!! Another BFP we needed that. Any symptoms to report for us 2WWers?
sprouthaus: thanks for updating the list!
Were is everyone today? People must be working. It is a cold and rainy day here, the stay inside and eat soup kind of day. I am still having cramps and lower back pains today. They were so bad during the night it woke me up twice, don't know what to think other than AF or eptopic if pg. Tomorrow is the big day, beta #1! So far I had not been nervous but now I am a bit paranoid, I really don't want another BFN, I don't know if I can handle it. I think DH is convinced we are pg and it would totally destroy him, it did the last time. Well any words of wisdom would be great, as well as thoughts and prayers!!! Talk to ya later.
GOOD LUCK tomorrow jcurlygurl and amfmbaby!!! All of my baby dust goes to the both of you!
Let us know how it goes - there may not be many posts these days, but I am guessing that there are a number of people watching the board and hoping to hear good news from both of you.

GOOD LUCK tomorrow jcurlygurl and amfmbaby
As for me...I have been so sick...doc had to give me meds to keep me from vomiting so much!!! I might have to go to the hospital for an IV. I have been in bed!!! My next u/s is Friday and I just hope I can make it without the
vomiting. I am still around and I will not leave until everyone is done! You girls are like family and I would have never made it without you guys!
smattison - UGH! Sounds like you are really under the weather with m/s. Take care of yourself and keep us posted on how you are doing.
Question for the group: I just received my 'letter of clearance' for our next round of IVF. Our RE contacts our insurance company and gets the 'all clear' so that we all know where we stand. The letter said we were having PGD done. When I met with RE last Friday - she didn't mention PGD - and it certainly isn't a concern of mine. We are switching from the long-lupron protocol to the micro-dose (flare?) protocol and was wondering if this is part of the protocol??? I have my nurse consult friday and plan on asking her - but was curious if anyone knows why PGD might be recommended?

jcurlygirl and amfmbaby: good luck tomorrow and bring in those BFPs.
Trippsmomma: Congrats! that is so awesome. My due date is around june 24th so we are close.
Sprouthaus: PGD is testing of the embryo to make sure there is no genetic disorder. we were going to do this next if this round did not work. The reason they do this is that they do not have any other explanation for why the last cycles did not work. But get all the answers from your doctor before u decide to do it.
Smattison: that is awful that you have been so sick. Please take care of yourself and drink lots of fluid.
As of me, I went in for my first ultrasound today and saw one little sac but it is growing beautifully so far and puts me at 5w3days today so am really excited. I go in next week for my 2nd ultrasound and hopefully i will get to hear the heartbeat. Being cautiously optimistic at this point.!
Hugs to all of you beautiful ladies.

Sprouthaus: WOW PGD...how old are you??? Only 34...it is usually for women way over 40. There are pros and cons. You need to call the lab that will be doing the PGD and talk to them before going forward. We talked about it all 4 times and never did it. You have to have a certain number of 8 cells embies on day 3 and it does compromise the embryo. My last m/c was caused by the baby having Trisomy 16 which is non-conducive to life therefore she would have never been able to be born...she also had what was called mosaic and that means she had normal cell and abnormal cells. IF we would have done PGD and paid $4000 out of pocket for it they may have retrieved a normal cell and we still would have not know and the outcome would have been no different. I spoke with a lot of doctors and other women and everyone told me I was too young and they all advised against it in my case. Everyone is different but do your research!!!
smattison and BG - thank you so much for your inputs!!!! When I saw the letter my first response was "did they get me confused with someone else?" I will definitely be bringing it up with the nurse on Friday - it is not something I would ever consider doing. Multiple reasons why, but mostly right now - I'm only 34 and just don't feel it is necessary. And, I know it is crass - but I don't want to spend money on it.
My RE is really good and I am surprised she didn't mention it when we met last week - this is why I think it may be an error....
