WHY ME!!!!!!!!!!!!DAMIT :(

Post by Traci »

Well here goes for some more crappy news  , I had siked myself up to have started a short protocol as of day 3 tomorrow and he said yes  I was so excieted if only for 10 minuets, then I went for a scan and I have 2 cysts size 17 and 28 and he advised not to go ahead as these cysts take up most of the right ovary and I would therefor only produce eggs from 1 side , can you bloody believe it , I would have had a chance this month :x , on a good note had that FSH been over 10 then the door would have been closed permanently for the use of my own eggs but as it is they want to do another FSH and scan on day 1 next cycle so it isnt over yet :D but how many doors are there going to be  . I have to say that I am Gutted once again but its not Cancer or any life thretening thing so I will just have to wait another 28 days

Thanks for listening to me

ooh no it is so unfair, I wish I could do something to help. You are so positive, do not know how you do it.....

On a positive side I have read lot's of threads were this has happened and they have gone on to get pg.

What happens now, will you have them drained.

thinking off you

A follicular cyst occurs when the normal follicle, or sac that matured to release an egg, does not shrink after release of the egg. These are soft, have thin membrane walls, and contain clear fluid. These can rupture, causing sudden, severe pain which gradually goes away over several days. Usually, however, they spontaneously disappear over the course of one or more menstrual cycles. They can cause changes in your periods and pelvic pain. Depending on the size of the cyst, it can just be observed or treated with birth control pills.

No he said let them dispear themselves, I think this is what they are !!!

Hi, jeez it's such an unbelievable roller-coaster isn't it? Poor you, to get so excited just to have your hopes for a short protocol dashed. At least the FSH news was good and there were some good sized follies...and the door is still open. Roll on March.....

love
Debra.

Oh traci, i was so looking forward to writing to you about your fsh results and then read this. you must feel you're getting blow after blow.

but first i must say, your fsh result is fantastic. i am absolutely bl..dy delighted for you. this is such a remarkable change, keep doing what you have been doing and have faith that it will all come together and happen!

your cysts, i know this must be such a hard set back for you. follicle cysts can also occur when an egg doesn't release at all, and old hormones are not cleared from your system. this is not uncommon at all. i know that doesn't help but what i'm saying is talk to your accupuncturist about detox/cleansing your vital cleansing organs. see if she/he has any recommendation that might speed up the process in clearing these buggers.

it must have been a real rollercoaster couple of days for you.

take care,

phil

Hi Traci

i can't believe how you can get such good news about your fsh levels only to be given crap news afterwards. It is only a matter of time before it all works out for you and I really feel that when it does everything will be perfect for you.
It's amazing how you manage to keep such a brave face and always have encouraging words for us even when your having a crap time.
Have a fab weekend and drink and eat loads!

I was so excited I drove poor DH up the wall telling him about you - I think once would have sufficed but I was alike a parrot.
LEt's keep fingers crossed for weekend - get on that red wine (and you July Ann) - that will shrink 'em
