the problem is they take NO adjustment and were so excited last time the youngest insisted in peering in every baby buggy and dragging me over to see all babies! They were devestated when Oliver died so not telling them or loads of others until after our 16/17 wk scan next thursday.

Tracey,
Oh I cannot imagine what you must have been through with the kids also being hurt on top of your personal loss! My one consolation with my early m/c is that almost no one knew. The problem is my dp's kids are very nice but they follow the lead of their mother and I am not sure what kind of reaction this will produce. When dp mentioned to them that they might (at that time just hypothetically) have a brother or sister, the younger boy said he thought he was too old! (dp is 45!) Not a very nice reaction for their dad I thought. Anyway the boys were very concerned about me when i had the m/c even if they did not know what exactly was happening with me...I guess they will be thrilled after a while, but i am also waiting as long as i can to tell them!
Alisonn, i will post this also somewhere else, good luck with the scan, i will really keep my fingers crossed for you, i thought you already had a good result from the other test, or am I wrong?

Many congratulations to you both. I was really excited at first then a couple of days later I think it hit me and I just thought that I wouldn't be able to cope and probably never sleep again (and I love my bed!)
Its wonderful but scary and worrying but all preganancies are like that. I now look at every shop door I walk through and think .. would my pram fit through that.
Rest when your body tells you to, my hospital isn't overly concerned at all and i have been fine, so far.
Take care and enjoy it

Hi Juliana
I am so thrilled for you - Congratulations! I'm sure that twins sounds daunting but just think you've got your ready-made family all in one go! I'm actually 7 weeks and 1 day with one baby, so we're only 3 days apart....though you'll probably have your babies before mine.
Are you feeling ok? I've felt marginally sick and quite tired but nothing else. Yesterday I felt 100% and complained to my dh that something must be wrong - I drive him mad, if I'm feeling unwell I complain and if I'm feeling well I complain! He can't win, but he has been amazing. I've also put on quite a lot of weight around the tummy but think that is mostly due to the drugs....anyway who cares, hopefully very soon it will be sticking out good and proper for all to see!

Our darling son Jake was born in October 2004 on our 3rd IVF attempt. I have PCOS. We're now trying again naturally, before embarking on our next FET IVF possibly late 2005... so watch this space!!!
Hi Michelle,
yes, we seem to be very close, i am now almost 8 weeks (started ivf on 3 january), nice to have someone who is at the same stage. I feel ok most of the time, just get really tired. I understand what you mean by worrying when you are well, i think we all do and when i have a bad day when i feel more queasy or have a headache then i complain because of how i feel. our men have to be great to endure all this silliness yet i think my dp has learned after all we've been through i cannot be my usual self...
Nikola, I wish i know my due date, i had calculated myself something like 9 october nbased on a calendar on the web but now there are two i don't know. I will ask at the next scan.
love,
juliana
