I can totally understand people who tell others in their life they are going through IVF - but not hopeless yet - you said it - telling people about the BFN would be too hard for me.
TKat - that is amazing that you lived with your sister and she never found out! Didn't you have to refrigerate any meds? My sisters are so nosy there is no way it would ever work for me. I hide my meds in tupperware just in case any of them should ever stop by - and I'm positive one day they'll stumble on something they shouldn't see....
It's funny because I don't have that many early morning meetings at work - but it seems like the few days I do have early meetings, I also have b/w u/s appts. I tell work that I have a Dr. appt - but never tell them why. A couple busy bodies try to get it out of me saying "you're too young for all these appts". But I just keep quiet. It is none of their business!
I'll add you to the list TKat! I have been getting acupuncture since my BFN on October 17. I LOVE it. My AP is one of the top AP fertility specialists in the midwest and she has co-written a fertility book that has a 12 week program for holistically increasing your fertility chances. I've been doing the yoga from the book (and the meditation) and I feel great! And last night, I fell asleep in my AP appointment - so it doesn't hurt or anything.
According to my AP, an egg develops for 90 days before it is mature....so the sooner you can start AP, the better. I've only been going for 7 weeks, but figure if this cycle is a BFN - I have a headstart for the next one
