Good evening girls!

I might keep it short if I feel that I will fall asleep.
Misfixit~ Good to see you on the thread again and congrats on doing your transfer. Ahhhh...the dreaded 2ww. I want to tell you that I had some strong AF type cramps during my last cycle that I didn't get when I had my chemical. Every woman is different and every pregnancy is different. Some may feel symptoms and others don't feel a twinge but it doesn't really matter it seems. Try and keep your PMA up and believe that you are pregnant. I think you might be nicely surprised when Thursday comes and you have your BFP! I'm sending you lots of sticky baby dust. Thank you for your kind, encouraging words!

Toobee~ We should put some sticky tape on your shoes so you stay in the upright position!! :D Kidding aside, I hope the girls are ok and hearing their HBs on the doppler must be a great relief! The scan will give you that confirmation very soon and I'd love to know as well. You and Dh can rest assured that all is well with your girls since the amnio came back so good. So many hurdles to get past as you all go along in your pregnancies. One step at a time and you will be there soon.

Stacy~ Good to hear from you girl!! And so glad all is well with you and the baby...sounds like you're having an easy pregnancy!

Elida~ I'm thinking about you and your triplets! It's no wonder that you feel tired. When are you having your next scan? You're lucky to have uneventful pregnancies and I wish you the best with this one as well. You're a trooper !

I'll check again on all of you very soon.

Much love and hugs!

too bee - I think the bloody noses are different. those are due to the mucus and high blood production.

are you eating enough iron? are they testing you for it? are you getting up and doing too much? If you've been resting drink some juice before getting out and walking. Especially if you were sitting or lying down or watching tv.

SO glad to hear everyone's news. it all looks good.

I have not felt the twins move yet, or if I have I don't know what I am looking for, but i'm getting a little worried.

we signed up for a hospital tour and some classes and also we have put a bid in on a new home. lots going on...

I have a cold and can only do so much here at home.

Thanks toobee and Val!

I feel a little better knowing that you had similar pains. :) I woke up in pretty bad shape this morning. Had to take 2 Tylenol even. But no AF so far (tohavefun would have found a smiley with fingers cdrossed for sure! ;) ) Progesterone, of course, could be keeping AF at bay, but I ain't going there!!

toobee - I don't think it's stupid to talk to the embie  DH and I made up several chants that we do. Here's our nightly one (performed with all four hands on top of each other on top of tummy).

"Go beanie, go.
Snuggle in and grow.
GO BEANIE!!!"

All four hands go up on the last one. Silly, isn't it? Makes us feel connected, though.
Doing okay today, some light cramping, but holding in tight. You're right, it's just a couple of days more. I'm not gonna POAS. It'll just add to my nerves.

Again thanks for the encouragement. Keep your fingers crossed!
I hope your dizzy spells subside. And the nose bleeds. Hang in there. Val is right, we gotta get you some sticky tape ;)

Stefanie
So sorry to hear you have a cold. I hope you resting and taking it easy so your immune system can rejuvenate. I hate colds!!! I havent felt any movement either and I have no idea what to expect. I am going to ask my Dr tommorrow when I should feel something. I will let you know what he says. I read some woman feel movement as early as 16 weeks, I thought i felt dome fluttering but I think it was gas   As far as my bloody noses, they dont worry me. My doctor said it was nothing to worry about either. I get my blood checked thoroughly and sometimes bi-weekly almost every month because I have auto immune issues. So I am watched closely for any flares ( RA and Lupus related) My iron is good and all my other levels are good as I just had a full work up not to long ago. The dizziness is just a wiered thing I get every now and then. Its only been since I have been pregnant. When I fell is t was at 4 am in the morning and I just lost my footing while I was dizzy, and it was dark. So my falling was just a fluke, I doubt that will happen again, and I do have to watch it. I just need to make sure I get up slow and stuff like that.

Valerie
Your funny....yeah I guess maybe I need weighted boots when I have to go pee at night!!! I feel confident the girls are OK now, I posted something on a thread to get some feedbak about falls and SilverAngel had some good stories that made me feell better and worry even less. Plus I have scan tommorrow at 4...But I am really brusied up, I think my Dr is gonna freak a bit.....my boob is even bruised!!!! I hope they dont think my DH is hitting me, he made a half kidding comment about that tonight....Hes such a goober

MsFixIt
So sorry your feeling so crummy!!! Yes ToHaveFun was always good with her stickers and graphics, I so miss her. Your right PIO can be keeping AF at bay, but you'll know soon enough so try to think positive!!! I think your song is great about your embies..to cute! Me and DH didnt sing a song but we did talk to our picture and we did try to talk to them in my belly every night. We felt silly but it also felt good to be hopeful and dream! And here we are :) And I am fine, no worries about me, after my miserable first trimester I feel confident I can get through the rest of this pregnancy as a total trooper I was absolutely miserble for awhile there. But yeah, sticky tape might not be bad investement!!!   I think I may need a Hoverround pretty soon or a wheel barrel, cause I am really getting big...I feel like I could be a Macys Day Parade Balloon!!!

To Have Fun
I think its clear we all miss you. I hope you'll be back when your ready. I miss you and think of your often. I hope your starting to feel a little better. I will just write you now and again, dont feel like you have to respond, I just want you to know you are in my thoughts!

MuchHope
How you feeling ?????? Hope all is well. Looking forward to hearing an update soon!

I am glad you like my names!!! thanks . I like them too, so I am sticking with them.. My husband is really digging them to, so we arent changing them. Yeah I havent mentioned m/s because I dont have it anymore, thank god!! that was really bad there for awhile...I feel so much better, I wouldtnt say I feel like 100% but I think I feel great for being pregnant.

Hey Tobee - I put a little Vaseline in each nostril at night and my bloody noses have stopped. They were really bad, several times a day before I started doing it. So try it out!

Helen - I had AF type cramps as well before getting my BFP. Fingers are crossed for you!

Hey Everyone. Glad you miss me and my smileys. Its nice to feel loved.

Misfixit - I forgot when is your beta? I also talked to my picture of my little embies for my last cycle. I put them on the fridge and looked at them every day. i know we are all strange. You asked what I was doing next. Well, i have a consultation with a new RE tomorrow. I just don't feel I got any personl attention at my other RE. So hopefully will get some good news tomorrow and then I am think about cycling again in March/April. So i checked with my physic smiley and I think I am seeing a BFP for you.

Toobee - sound like things are going a little better with you. I know the dizziness could probably get scary. I hate being dizzy. Good luck on your scan. Are you still listening to the heart monitor?

stefanie - Glad to see that everything is going good with you and your little beans. How did the house bid go?

Well, gotta go for now. DH fixed me a grilled cheese and it is getting cold. i will let ya know what happens tomorrow.

tommorrow is your beta!!!!!!!!!! wishing you a BFP and I am sending lots of good vibes and positive goodness your way.. So crossing fingers and toes for you!!!

So good to hear from you!!! I am so glad you are going for a second opinion. You really deserve some individulaized attention after all you have been through. I hope this new RE will be the answer. And yes, I still use my fetal doppler moniter........we love it. It has kept me sane, especially after I fell. But all is good with me, no big complaints.

SFleming
Thanks for the vaseline tip. I actaully use that but I also use a saline nasal spray to get way up there :):)...thats has really helped allot. they suck dont they??? Luckily I am not getting them often anymore and when I do its not to bad now.

Tomorrow is the Judgement Day!

I'm sooo nervous! Still no AF - good sign. Cramps are coming and going - not sure what kind of sign. But it's really encouraging to hear more and more accounts from the girls with BFP's who had them.

Chris - your psychic smiley had me ROFLMAO!! For a second there, I thought it was actually an egg the smiley was putting spells on ;). You're just so great with all your smileys. Really made my day :)

Thank you and toobee and Stacy and Val and Everybody else for your positive thoughts and vibes and all your crossed extremities! ;)

You guys are the BEST! I was just talking to DH about how ONLY the women who have been through this can TRULY understand everything that's this journey entails. That's why your support and encouragement is so meaningful to me. None of you would ever think to say "you're going to do IVF? How EXCITING!" or "one of your frozen embrios died? Well, you'll just make more!" (Oh yea, heard both of these)

I am humbled and inspired by ALL of you!

Till tomorrow...[/b]

Hi I'm up since 5 am w/ acid reflux. so I'm online.

too bee - great about 20-24 wks I'm glad to hear that about 20-24 weeks. I guess I expected to feel earlier w/ twins but they are well protected in there so maybe not. I have so many crazy gas things and I feel flutters up under my rib, but I believe that is now my stomach so it's just digestion.

renee good luck and have a great holiday.

MsFIXit. good luck. be brave. you can handle it, whatever happens, but we are all pulling for you . big time.

who asked about the househunt? the bid was accepted and we are moving forward. could be very weird for me to move w/ out lifting a thing or micromanaging all the organization. (my zen) so weird. gotta let go though. anyway we have many steps to go through.

I am now dealing w/ major hemmoroids. LOL. Oh. my. god. now taking a daily stool softener. crazy. Can't eat much anymore either. no room. have to eat half a meal and then eat the rest later.

just wanted to say that I'm glad to have you all here. I know I don't write to everyone, but once I click reply I forget all the people I want to respond to. How do you guys do it?

Good morning! I'm absent one day and lots of posts to read! that's wonderful!

Misfixit~ I can see a BFP in your very near future too! The smiley that Chris posted was really funny and had me laughing too! I've got all my fingers crossed for you today and can't wait to hear the confirmation of my positive suspicion!

Toobee~ Any news from your last scan? I thought you went yesterday. I do believe the girls are ok ( at least the ones in your little belly) . Let us know.

Chris~ So good to hear from you and I'm glad that you are going to see a new RE. I'd love to know how the consultation went and I hope you get to feel better vibes coming from him.

Stefanie~ A cold and hemorrhoids!...you poor thing, that can't be fun at all. I took a prenatal that had a stool softener in it and let me tell you that it had plenty of effects. As a matter of fact, I had to switch to another one because it got so bad. I hope you're feeling better and congrats on your new home and I hope the move goes smoothly.

Much Hope~ How are you feeling? I hope you're not too tired. When is your next scan?

Kerpupples, Turtles~ Thinking about you and your babies. Turtles, I'm sure you're having a great time on your trip. Just remember to take it a little easy. You seem tough to slow down. I can't say much as I am like that too.

I've got to get going and get to work and start planning what I'm going to cook for the three parties we will attend this weekend starting Friday night.

Much love to all and have a fantastic day!

Hey Everyone

I haven't been on much in awhile. I was wondering if any of you have experienced this. Throughout the night and this morning I have been having squeezing/cramping like feelings on my right side. My husband is worried it might be Braxton Hicks contractions. I called the doctor and I am waiting for a call back. Since this is my first pregnancy I don't know what a contraction feels like or if it could just be my stomach growing for the babies.

Amanda - I too am 17 weeks and have been having weird cramping in my abdomen, typically on one side or the other. Per one of my pregnancy books, they are totally normal and are "Round-Ligament Pain". It's the ligaments as they are stretched and pulled to make room for the growing uterus. My book says only to worry if the pain is severe or if you are having bleeding or loss of fluid from the vagina. Hope that helps!

Hey Gals

Hope all is well. I had a good scan yesterday and the girls are fine and my uterine lining is fine :) I kinda figured as much but It was nice for the reassurance after the fall! Thanks for asking Val:) Since allot of us are talking symptoms lately I thought I would make a list of all of mine and what I did since becoming PG. I know we are all differant and some of us who may be early in pregnancy may benefit from this and those that are cycling may know more of whats normal and what they might expect. I have had allot of symptoms even though I have not shared them all. Some of the symptoms for me have been allot worse then others, but the nausea and m/s were the only ones that really knocked me off my feet and made me out of my mind, so in comparison, all the rest for me are just annoying or uncomfortable. I hope those who are early in pregnancy or cycling dont ever expereince such bad m/s. So heres my list and how I managed:

Morning Sickness from 6.5 weeks until around 15.5 weeks :How I managed: I was put on the drug zofran cause it was really bad, but alhtough it helped tremedously I still suffered and the drugs caused me severe constipation. I also ate a bland diet, such as crackers, pasta etc and had to have something in my stomach at all times or I would suffer more. I had a very diffcult time eating allot of differant foods and the only thing I craved for protien for the very frst few weeks was cheeseburgers. I was completelty miserable, and my freinds, family and DH said I l looked like a really bloated ghost, and that I was incoherent allot. I wanted nothing to do with the world and could hardly carry a conversation!! For the constipation, I used 200 mg of colace everyday, and tried to increase my fiber intake with food items such as: high fiber bread, vitalicious muffins, as much water as I could possibly consume even though that made me nauseated, benefiber powder that I mixed into my water and food, and finally walked as much as I could when I was able too.

Constipation starting around 7 weeks and was under control by 16 weeks]]This is How I am managed it after m/s subsided; high fiber bread, vitalicious muffins, lots of water, benefiber powder that I mixed into my water foods, walking, wheatgrass protein smoothies, apples, pears, berries and veggies like broccoli, squash etc. Also I stopped taking the zofran around 14-15 weeks and that helped considerably, but I still had some issues. My constipation was a severe case for sure but I think it was allot worse than normal becuase of the zoloft.

Hemmroids starting around 14 weeks and was under control by 17 weeks. This is How I am managing: Tucks Pads, Preperation H, walking, and keeping my high fiber diet so I dont get as constipated. Mine werent as bad as alot of woman, but I had terrible buring and itching. I know TMI, but they really sucked! Mine are almost completey gone and I hope to never ever expereince them again!

Wind /Farts / Gas / Bloating   starting around 6 weeks never goes away  ...........sorry if TMI, but this is something I fiind so annoying...it doesnt matter what I do......but it is something I am faced with daily. Some days worse then others and other days very very mild.

Heartburn / Acid Reflux starting at 6 weeks (but I have that under control): This is How I managed; I dont eat anything a few hours before bed, I eat small meals spread throughout day, I dont eat spicey foods or garlic unless I am prepared for the consequences, I chew tums and drink allot of water.I also eat a banana every day, that really seems ot help me too.

Nose Bleeds Starting at 9 weeks:]This is How I am managing; Vaseline, Saline Nasal Spray, and staying as hydrated. Mine are allot better since doing this, and much less severe and frequent.

Shortness of Breath starting very early because of OHSS but even now thats gone, I still suffer and its more frequent as my belly growsThis is How I am managing; I dont think there is anything you can do for this, at least I have not found anything that helps. The I bigger I get the more frequent it gets. One thing I cant do is get full...so thats one more reason to eat smaller frequent meals. But sometimes when I talk it sounds like I just finsihed excercising, its so strange, and sometimes when you would expect me to suffer from it, like when I go for a hike, I dont have it all. Its not all the time, but its so annoying and uncomfortable!

Braxton Hicks / Round Ligament Pain starting around 7-8 weeks for Round ligament and 15 weeeks for Braxton HicksThis is How I am managing; This is a new one for me and they are becoming more frequent and intense. I just asked my Peri about this yesterday and they said its normal. I am fearful of pre-term labor and since I have no idea what a contraction feels like they told me I would know it and the pain would take my breath away and happen like four times in an hour. If I have anything like severe pain that frequents like four imes in an hour that I should go to ER. I have no wisdom on this or if there is anything we can do for this or whats normal...I would love to hear if any of you know oor could share what to look out for. Like Amanda I have allot of strange feelings, twinges, pulling, and shooting cramping or pains and sometimes downright uncomfortable. It can be scarey sometimes!

Backaches starting around 14weeksThis is How I am managing; I rest when it gets bad........and warm baths are my budddy pal freind. My Peri said I am big for how far along I am, but its not my fault or fat, its my grwing belly. I currently look around 6.5 months along and I will be 5 months on Christams day. I am expereincing all the uncomftable things of carrying allot of wieght already and my DR told me to get a back/belly support brace...Ill keep you guys posted......Keep in mind I had back surgery a few years back, so my back was always a concern. I have a titanium implants becuase I crushed a few discs.

Dizziness And how I am managing : Keeping hydated, getting up slow, and making sure I eat small frequent meals again. As you guys know I fell, but thats because I got dizzy in the dark and lost my footing. I would say that if I wasnt pregnant with all the extra weight I would have caught myslef. I have had like 5 or 6 dizzy spells, but Iam notcing them more now. Some are worse then others. This last one was the first one that made me feel weak in the knees.

Cravings I have no real cravings other than Bazooka Bubble Gum and cheese- I know wiered, But I have noticed I dont like allot of foods and have become a picky eater. Also allot of my past favorite foods dont taste as good and its hard to find things I really enjoy anymore. So i just chew bubble gum, and eat cheese every now and then but must be careful because that can make me constipated , and of course eat as healthy as I can.

Life Safers    I bought the pregnancy wedge and the pregnancy pillow. I was having a hard time sleeping at night and found myslef constantly stuffing pillows between my legs and up by my belly. This one pillow and wedge gives me everyhing I need and they have been worth every penny! Highly recommened if you find your self putting pillows between your legs and around your belly. I also rented a fetal doppler moniter from www.babybeats.com. If your like me and have a tragic history of multiple miscarrige, then this helped me get through some really rough spots. You have to be at least 10 weeks along, but some woman can hear HB earlier on it. It has been a saving grace for both DH and I...and I love it.

Heres my physical perks to being Preggers :

--My skin broke out early on with terrible pimples, but now my skin, hair and nails looks amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

--Even though It was a rough road early on, and I am uncomfortable allot, by 16 weeks I started feeling allot better and ready to get back in the game. I am very grateful to have gotten this far even though I have a ways to go. Keep in mind I dont have all these symptoms all the time. It may sound worse then it is, but truth is most of them are just annoying. Morning sickness is just brutal if you get it bad like I did, but the rest are all managable and livable and you have control over most.

So if anyone has any advice or helpful tips I would love to hear them.......One thing I have found is that drinking allot of water does seem to help with everything.
