Bertie
I am sure it is fine - I would worry mine is not big enough not the other way around - sure it does not mean baby is coming early!
Wish Nikola and I had never started this - honestly we are a pair!
The first few weeks it is 1cm per week roughly - I know this is the case to 20 weeks - perhaps then we have a different rate - not sure. Sounds like you did it right. At my stage can't measure under my boobs (though they are drooping to my ankles!!!!!!! ) because if I did then it would be over 26cm and that can't be right as don't have bump up there if you know what I mean - didn't watch my midwife properly last week and tried it yesterday and think I have shrunk!!!!!!!!
I think we should leave our fundus to the experts

Nikola I had those nasty Findus crispy pancakes too - why did our mothers put us through that?? did you have the little frozen pizzas about 5ins across with about 3 bits of pepper and a prawn on ???
Aside from that, just butting in on pg girls threads again, I too have a fundus , heaven knows what I'll look like when I am pg!!! (note I said 'when')
Well that was a bit of a non-message wasn't it - best get back to packing for skiing - a girl can never have too many holidays you know

Hellllloooooooo

Weekend with mum is proving to be fun, she doesn't go until tomorrow afternoon - I've still got a day at Ikea to get through yet! Yesterday we shopped from 11am to 6pm - I was totally knackered and bored, cos shopping when NONE of the clothes fit you is not much fun! Watching other people spend when you can't is dull as dishwater!

I couldn't even buy shoes cos my feet were a bit swollen. Instead I had to buy - Lancombe face cream, Mac make-up, and Clarins body lotion.......and eat lots of food in Harvey Nicks at lunch time!!!

I've supplied my mum with alcohol this afternoon (it took a bottle of chablis and a bottle of merlot but finally she is asleep.......must remember to try this on the babies!!! Perhaps if I drink a few glasses of wine and then express this will help them sleep through the night!!)

Kat as for Fundus Pancakes - as if we would eat them now!!! Gross. I'm sure they are not allowed to seel them anymore. My sister and I were also forcefed those nasty little pizzas - fortunately minus the prawns....and also Turkey Burgers!!!! Yuk so much processed food!!!

I'm off for a walnut whip to take my mind off Fundus Foods!!!

love nikola.xx

ps Bertie - please do not worry, your fundus sounds just fine to me!!! I have fundus envy!!!!!!!!

Nikola/Tracey S

I'm not really worried about the size of my fundus its just if I explode who's gonna clean up the mess!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am getting bigger by the second - I wouldnt even need to open a walnut whip before babe would put a stone on!! (i should really say a weekly 1/2 lb). Only 8 wk and 1 day to go!!!! Cant wait - I'm more excited than if I had one of those large Creme Egg easter eggs!!!

luv Bertie x

Hi you two

Bertie life must be exciting if it is more exciting than a large cream egg - yummy!!!!!!!! Mind you not as large as they used to be- eggs that is - not a fundus which on this thread seem to be huge. Can't wait for you either!
Nikola - sounds like fun - at least you got some nice smellies - bought any baby clothes. Ikea hey - won't get to talk to you much!
Have the midwife coming around this pm - well 5.30 to check the heartbeats - in a flap again

Hi Tracey,

thanks for that, I did wonder if that was why.....

I was really upset when I read Dagnys news.....She did her tmt the same time as me (SCBs) and if I remember she got her +ve quite close to when Nikola did and they were due about the same time.....

Have just read your post....you must be really pleased, another hurdle over........

2 girls eh!! could be mini Tracey & Nikolas....theres a thought!!

Take care & wishing you a happy healthy pregnancy
