Hey Ladies!
Suga~ Don't worry dear about Mackenzie quite yet. 13 lbs. is a great weight and if there are a few days when she is just too busy to dive into her meals I would personally just let it go and see what happens. Try keep the same exact schedule for a few days and see what she does. I wouldn't attempt to feed her more often or she will get use to eating less more often and then will most likely sleep less as well. She is probably busy learning and isn't in a growth spurt so she's simply got other things to do. If it goes on for over a few days just simply call your Ped. and ask their advice. My kids would nurse for different amounts of time at different times as well. I bet you'll see her eat a ton when she decides she is hungry!
Woodcliff~ HI!!!! Thanks for the well wishes. I actually feel 100% normal and am not showing or anything yet so it hardly seems real. I never had any symptoms with the twins either so it takes a while for me to feel pg. I think that's a good thing! I cannot believe your kids are already 9 months! Makes me want to cry! Seriously seems like time has no regard for our feeling what-so-ever!

Funny you say all your toys make noise. We have so many that do that but my kids gravitate towards the old classics with no noise at all. Stacking cubes, puzzles, wooden cars and blocks, books, ect.... I have tried to explain this to people when they ask me what they should get the kids but I see it's hard to not get what looks fun to adults. My kids play with the noisey stuff for a day and it's over.
Good luck keeping your baby in the crib! Let us know how you handle that one! PM your blog please! I LOVE this form of communication! I have recently become a blogging addict!
Kim~ Am I going to find out the sex???? Are you kidding me? Do I look like the type of girl who could wait???

I have to know. The sooner the better for me. I hate to say it but my boy is so rough and tumble that I kind of hope Annelise can have a sister to help her in the combat! It really doesn't matter to me but I was one of 4 and I had 3 brothers so I would love to be a witness to sisters since I never had one. Either way it will be just perfect. Any guesses???
Sara~ I excusively breastfed mine but I was also very forceful with it in the NICU. I tried pumping so I could add the neosure but pumping never worked for me. I could hand express plenty but the pumps were a waist of time and so frustrating. Our lactation consultants were AMAZING here and free at my hospital so I used them vigourously. They really helped and my Ped. was very encouraging since my babies were steadily gaining weight. I believe you can up your milk amount as well if you want to exclusively bf. Breastfeeding was so much easier for me than trying to add the calories and the neosure added to the breastmilk constipated the babies as well.
As far as Organic goes. . .I am a FREAK about it here at our house. I have been for about 15 years and it's nice that it's so much more available now. We would rather cut out other items than scrape on the quality of food we eat. It's not for everyone and it is pricey but it's also a gift. I know that with VERY active babies and a social calendar that I would die for, my babies who were just weaned at Thanksgiving and have only had organic food have only had 2 runny noses ever. Clear runny nose once and a cough and runny nose the other time. Not even my Pediatrician can believe how healthy they are. I totally credit it to the foods we eat and the organic lifestyle. I only use vinegar to clean most everything as well. (Other than when I have to bleach the tub from someone pooping in it!

) My other big thing is I always strip them from the clothes they are wearing at play places or public places when we get home. I wash their coats and blankets often as well. As a baby if the blanket left the house it went straight to the wash when we got home. Good luck with the milk choice. I LOVE Earth's Best and my kids did too!
Sameera~ You sound busy dear! WOW! I am so sorry to hear about your family problems right now. Divorce and death are so hard especially when you are tired and exhausted already. Just keep your chin up and take care of yourself. Your babies are BEAUTIFUL!! Let us know if there is anything we can do to help at all. We are all thinking of you! HUGS!
I better run. The babies are napping and I think I'm preaching at this point! Sorry!!! I just get a little to smitten with the thought of adult conversation sometimes!
Have a great day everyone!
