Hi there loves...

Beach!!! hi there...how are you and those sweet babies?? When you get a moment, I know they are far and few...but would love to see some new piccies!!! :D Always nice to hear from you. We miss our Mummies so much...but we do understand!! Especially those of you with two!! Kiss those babies for me!

Hey Angel! Well it looks like I will be super busy too love. URGH...do they really think I come to work...to actually work?? Come on people~!
Have you thought anymore about what to do with your therapist?

Angie...come on..come on..we are waiting to hear all the details of the Birthday Nite!!! Hope you two had a great time.

Hi Lee!! How are you today?

Wishfull...so did you take a nice hot bath to warm up last night? I tell you, when you start talking about baths and fireplaces...I get so jealous. Your homes over there a way cuter!!! Much more character!!

Becky...hugs my love. Thinking of you as always...!!! How did your hair do come out?

Sophie,
Where are you Momma...tell your patients your friends are waiting...

Ok...I have a funny story to tell you ladies..

So, last night I was in the bathroom, turning on the shower water. I was getting ready to take my shower. Well I take my clothes off, I open the shower door to see if the water is warm enough. I put my left leg in (NO ladies...I was NOT doing the HOKEY POKEY) to test it. Well my leg started to slide forward...and fast. There is nothing to grab on to. Well somehow I turned my body toward the wall while falling. My right leg landed on the metal strip that sticks up so water doesnt get on the floor. So here I am, naked, wet, in extreme pain and my DH walks in. His eyes are the size of quarters. He says..."are you ok??"... and just freaking stands there. So I yelled back...What do you think?? Get your ass over here and help me up. Again, I am all wet so I am pretty slippery...I yell...DONT FREAKING DROP ME!!! He says I wont!! So..I am out of the shower standing there looking at my leg because at this point I am ready to cut the damn thing off...it already has a bruise the size of my head wrapped around my whold leg. Ok...here comes my smart DH..."man...did you break anything?" Is it me..or is this a stupid question?? I tell him, If I broke anything do you think I would be able to stand on it?? And then he proceeds to ask, Well does it hurt?? SHEESH!!! MEN!!!!!!!!! I was ready to smack him.

Ok ladies...have a great day and I will check in when I can. Love to all!!!

LOL Ladies, I'll have to be extra super short today, but there are things you can't help but react to! LOL Angie, when you talked about your DH's b-day boner, I couldn't help but think about how it would impact on the "after dinner". How cool that you guys got another go! :D:D:D Isn,t it the best feeling in the world, to feel all sexy and giddy when thinking about your DH?

Renee,
I'm so sorry for your loss dear. Welcome to the thread, and we'll be looking forward to chatting more with you! *hugs*

Lee,
Where are you dear? We miss you already!

Miracle,
Hey baby! Oh, it's SO frustrating to fall in the shower! Ugh! I remember last time I bumped my tibia on the bath-shower's ceramic podium... OUCHIE! And you feel so stupid, all naked and in pain! Oooooh I know it's not funny you hurt yourself and had to hear Dh's comments, but I couldn't help but think about yesterday, when you said you'd probably trip and show everyone your goodies if you attempted the trenchcoat stunt! LOL! But hey, there's worse... I once heard a girl talk about how she was with her DH in the shower... BCABB... and she had put candles in the corners to set a romantic mood.. and somehow, while adopting what she wanted to be a cute and sexy little "playboy" pose... her hair caught on fire! ;)

Seriously though, I read about this nice little fantasy I might just try one day with DH... become a completely different person... you buy a nice wig, you wear a very sexy dress and you invite your husband under a different name (though he knows it's you) to a restaurant you have never been to... and you book a room in a hotel... and seduce him all over again... and you start the seduction with some discreet hand/foot action right under the table... *sigh*

oh and by the way, my mistake... I wrote 26 weeks but the ticker is still right! ;)

Becky,
WOOHOO! Another tmt to look forward to!!!!! You became IVF-pregnant once, my friend, you can do it again, and this time for good! *HUGS* I'm so happy you have this to look forward to!!!! :D:D:D:D

Beach,
Hi there! :D Great to have news!!!! I started buying things a few months ago, after I passed the 12-week mark. We want to spread the expenses as much as we can! :) Sorry you're having a crappy time at work... :(

Angel,
Hiya sweetie!

Angie,
Okay, let's be clear on one thing, lol! My husband would comment on the trans fat IN THE STORE-BOUGHT ICING, not the whole dinner! ;) He's French, but he's not that picky! Although he won't let us buy fast food, not even during road trips... *sigh* And well, judging by your husband's behavior, there's ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH YOUR ASS GIRLIE! You sexy thing! ;) And yes, each time you mention the slumber party we should have in the UK (and yes, we should!), I think of that nice cottage in The Holiday! ;) Kinda hard to forget... that and the aunt's house in Practical Magic... designed my kitchen with the set pictures! ;)

Carolyn,
No worries, I'm sure your cooking is delicious! :D Prague is in a weeeeeeeeek! :D:D:D

As for me, well, I'm defnitely not top shape at the moment. What happened with my father and his wife during our visit impacted on my sleep, and all the consequences really sucked out my energy, it's been rather draining. I feel quite tired today and I'll try and leave work early. It will pass... DH and I want to send them a letter, we just hope it will only help us understand some points better, clarify things and make things easier, but it might also add to the drama. We'll see.

Okay, gotta have lunch and finally get some work done... yesterday I spent almost all my day on the phone!!!! Catching up with my best friend, with a colleague... lol and my sis is supposed to call this afternoon, lol!

Take care ladies,

Sophie xxox

Thank you all for the very warm welcome. You all seem so caring and nice.....and funny also!!!! I am hanging in today and having the posts to read has actually gotten me out of some of the sadness. I started the bleeding today (sorry if tmi), yuck, painful, and somewhat more emotional than anticipated....But I am ok.

I actually noticed Beckys sig, her strength for another try in 04/09 and it made such an impact on me, thank you becky.

My dh best friend had a baby Tuesday so in the next few days I will try to make the trip to see the newborn. I didnt think I would be able to but I am thinking now I am going to. Of course that is right now, who knows what my mood will tell me in half an hour or so.

A good friend, actually sis in law came and sat with me this am, our kids played and it was such a great distraction. Funny how people can make it all seem better, even by doing nothing. What a blessing her visit was this am.

My dh is ok and actually being more considerate lately. He can be a real pain most of the time. I finally feel as if he we are a team in this. Funny how something so sad can make other things fall into place.

You have again all been so nice in welcoming me and I am looking forward to getting to know you.

renee,

I'm glad you're feeling better, and it seems like you have good people around you who can help you get through this, even by doing "nothing" in particular. You'll see, once the bleeding starts, then stops, it gets better. You can turn the page and move on, in a way. You never forget, it always remains sad and a loss, but it stops hurting so much.

Hugs,

Sophie

Angieee wow cool trenchcoat story!! you should be a story teller you had me curled up with laughter!!! Am I only on day 2 with you guys? Feels like I have been here forever! Now you lulled DH in with a false sense of what he was getting then if your trenchcoat was a one off!!
Yes as birthdays pass there will be other memories that fill your mind and tho the thought will always be there it gets less painful with time. The first year of anniversaries is always the worst.

Sophie when I get to next treatment I'll be asking you about the ticker not sure how to do all those things as you see I am a little bit computer iliiterate!! can just about send an email and thats it!!! :? Tankyooo so much for asking what bcbb means I could guess but did't have a clue next time will not be so shy

Carolyn I do the whole shebang! I do the beauty stuff facials, waxing, nails etc and also do aromatherapy, reflexology, and reiki too. I trained as a learning disability nurse and then retrained a few years ago with the beauty stuff, still doing some nursing, I work with families who have children who have brain injury due to non accidental injury such as car accidents and things. I am a full time foster carer and have the more 'challenging' children tho so combine all 3 into a full time job. I currently have a 15yr old girl with us in emotional meltdown this week so I am a bit preoccupied at the moment as you can imagine!!
I had the hopi ear candles done once what a wierd feeling it was, it was relaxing as well even though you have a flame coming towards your head with hair and stuff ready to catch fire!!
I love going to spas have to go at least 2 or 3 times a year. We went to one in Wales, cant remember the name of it will look it up, we stayed for about 4 days and had one whole day of treatments there was about 6 or 7 of them. The spa day was 175 roughly and 50 per night at the hotel.

Hi renee I responded to you on the other thread you posted on, again I am so sorry I have an idea of how your feeling as like the girls said I am going through the same right now along with Becky. All I can say is since I joined this thread I have not laughed so much in the last couple of days and feel stronger all ready, time heals.

Hi Jayne you responded to me on one of my threads with some questions for me to ask about the clotting factor, thankyou for that I am going to ask when we go on the 19th, nice to see you on here, getting to know all these crazy women on here quite fast!!

Ok Miracle can you tell me how you do all that flashy stuff and how do you post pictures up on here? I am a bit dense when it comes to this sort of thing so please easy instructions!! :? Having a busy day today with my emotional 15yr old, exclusion from school is not a happy time especially when she is then not allowed out either. Mind you I am not so mean as that sometimes you have to put their emotional state first rather than punishment that school would like you to do, so we compromised after many tears and tantrums that she will come in earlier!!
Men just do not have a cluuuuuue do they, they think thay are being all sympathetic and concerned and they just get it wrong, my DH just leaves me to it and goes to find something to do, Don't get me wrong I love him dearly and would not be without him but as far as tea and sympathy go forget it!! Now when I married him I was marrying a chillean spanish speaking hottie, but now I can't hear the spanish accent when he talks english as I have known him so long feel a bit cheated now !!!! Hope your legs ok by the way!

Hi Becky so happy to read your signature, I think my next cycle will be round about march time will find out for definate when we go on the 19th. xxx

Well off to visit my friends tonight first time out for me since xmas and I am sure when I check in again there will be another ton to read. Thank you for cheering me up ladies I feel I am starting to be a part of the world again, its true what they say laughter really does make you feel better/ :)

Hello my besties!!!
Image

Look at all the new posts!!! :D

OMG Angie!!! I laughed so hard when saw we wrote basically the same thing...about good minds!!! So funny. So I guess you are really really busy. It is a shame... :( Come out for a break soon!!!

Hi Carolyn!!! Are you kidding?? My leg hurts like hell!!!  The blood is all clotted and everything... O well, it will be fine. Glad to know you will be around more tomorrow.

Sure did miss you today Angel. I hope you don't have to work too hard tomorrow.

Sophie!! You crack me up!!! You little hussy!!! You know what though, your story about your friend...that would totally be me!!! I am telling you, I so cannot do things like that.

Hi Renee! Nice to see you!!! I am so glad you are feeling a little better. I am glad your family is supportive, even if they dont realize how much! Take it one day at a time. This too, shall pass...HUGS!!!!

Hi LEE!! Dont worry, I totally had to learn how to post things on here too! I do not know how to do tickers, or how to post piccies either. Sophie can tell you how to do the tickers. By the way, Sophie, Tell me too!!!
I will PM you with how to post things!!! WOW! you really are an angel for taking foster children. That has to be one hardest jobs to do. Not only do you have to deal with all the emotional abuse they usually have but you have to deal with it emotionally! GOOD FOR YOU! My sister works for the department of children and families here in Florida. She is a supervisor over the private investigators that remove children from abusive homes. Some of the stories i hear are jsut awful!!!

OK...so before I go...I have another funny story. (just to show you how clumsy I am...)

Back when I was 24 I was on vacation with my family. Me, Mom, sis and mom's husband. We went on a cruise. Well we were getting off at a port, Belize actually, and we had to tender in. (they didnt have a dock big enough for the cruise ship so little boats took us from the ship to the dock). Well the stairs were very steep and I was worried about my mom, she has really bad knees. So I was looking back making sure my mom was ok...well guess what?? I freaking lost my footing because of the waves, and fell down the freaking stairs!! IN FRONT of everyone!!!! I tore my ligaments. It hurt like hell too. But here I am on the freaking floor of this boat, face down in front of like 30 people!!! Oh, and the best part, while the captin of the boat and his crew are icing my ankle down and tending to me, my mother's husband is in a corner. Want to guess what he is doing...TAKING PICTURES!!!! He never misses an oppritune time to take pictures. Then he posts them on the internet to show extending family... NICE!!!

FALLING IN FRONT OF EVERYONE....$5000
HURTING YOUR ANKLE....$50000
HAVING SOMEONE THERE TO TAKE PIC'S TO POST ON INTERNET....PRICELESS!!!

Yep my family will keep you on your toes...

Ok, talk soon loveys!
