Good morning ladies!

Oooooh Carolyn! I hope you can check the board from work before you leave! When you wrote that you were only leaving this evening, I thought I had time to wish you a good trip! Well, at least I'll keep you in my thoughts! I hope everything goes well, and I hope you have fun with your new friends! ;) Take care, and please tell us all the details when you come back!

Lee,
I'm sorry about what happened yesterday. I know some milestones affect us more than others, and it hits hard. Getting three slaps in a row is quite something... *HUGS* All I can say is take care of yourself, and please know that it does get better with time. By the time I reached my due date in November after my miscarriage, I had even forgotten what day it was. You never become insensitive to the loss itself, but the time does come when it stops to hurt at every reminder. I hope the meeting went well, and I'm glad monkey butts make you smile! Here's another one just for ya! ;)

Image

Miracle,
Ah, looks like we love the same series! We love House and Bones too! Although I find the humor in Bones a little too... childish at times. I tried to read the books and had to give up after 24 pages; hated, totally hated her style! What annoys me in the series was ten times worse in the books! New episodes start next weeeeeeek! :D

Not much going on on my side. Quiet day, no patients, reports to write, a grumpy alpha male doctor to page to talk about one of his patients... other than that, it's extremely cold here! Whew! I'll have to leave 15 minutes early from work so so I can catch a bus from the train station. Yesterday, I walked the whole thing but my legs were seriously frozen when I reached the house. It takes ski pants, but I don't have any. Ah, well. Tomorrow will be worse, but by the time the weekend is over, the relatively warmer weather will come back.

Have a great day ladies, and I'll be around to play!

Hi ladies. I just realized i never posted yesterday. hmm..i thought i had
how are all of you
car-have a great , safe trip
lee-hang in ......i totally understand, good moments and bad.....youll find your rainbow, you will , whatever it is , keep the faith and when you cant maybe i can for you and vice versa for all of us, how is that???

I love american big brother....just love it, it comes on in the summer and is my absolute fave. How has everyone like American Idol? I am loving it as much as ever, call me a geek. I dont know. Of course the one sad story a night is killing me, I go into hysterics which puts my dh into laughter, he doesnt get it. Maybe it is the end of the hormone rage until next tmt time.
We have some snow here today, finally, my thought is if it is going to be so cold at least give me one snow, I am sure some of you get tons of snow but lately (past couple years ) not us. I dont go back to work until next friday (work next fri and mon) so snow me in, no problem.

My grandmom turns 94 on Saturday, how cool is that, so I am trying to plan whether to take her out or cook her fave meal.. She totally rocks....Wits about her and all.

Here trying not to feel sorry for myself. Trying to appreciate what I have and not get caught up in the "why's"? not so easy at times.
Hope all of you are well. Looking forward to hearing from you
sorry about he forgotten post, i thought i had sent one.

HI

Thankyou all for your words they really do mean a lot :) feeling a bit better today, yesterday hit me for six and I just didn't expect it as have been feeling not too bad.

I know what you mean Miracle, I think we all feel similar emotions at different times on this journey, it doesn't matter at what point of it we are in we are all walking in each others shoes which is why we can all totally empathise with each other.

I sorry I missed you Carolyn, like everyone else did not realise you were leaving so early this morning and thought I could wish you luck this afternoon. You will be flying high right now so sending you a hug several thousand feet upwards, we are all with you!!! :D you should be well on your way now, can't wait to hear next week :)

Sophie I so love those butt pics! I am laughing so loud DH and Amy (my foster child will call her Amy so I can stop writing foster child all the time!) are looking at me funny. Your words have given me hope I can get through this again, and it will hurt less as time goes on.....

Thank you renee, yes definately we can keep the faith for each other, wow your Grandma 94, I have my Grandma she is the same age, and she is so amazing, same wits and all she has a better social life than me too!! :D

Hi Angie nice to hear from you, hmmmm don't think I can live with out cheese either, I have made DH watch American Idol so I can discuss Simon Cowell with you guys!! And then I will know what singers you are on about too, we have just had the brit one over here I watched it all!!!

Angel hope your getting a suntan wherever you are 8)

Becky thinking of you xxx

Well our appt has come round really quick we are going back on Monday to see our consultant and talk about whats happened, maybe reasons why if there are any and a FET, so will fill you in on Monday,

we are away for the weekend visiting 2 children that we moved on to adoption, they were page boys for us when we got married and their adoptive parents made us their legal guardians which made us really happy as we love them both to distraction and it meant we could still see them and see them get on with their new life. May not have time to post tommorrow so if I don't have a fab weekend and see you Monday.

Lots of Love

Evening ladies!

Just a quick note for me because I've been MIA!

Carolyn,
How cool that you're writing from Prague! Your friends' house seems like a palace, WOW!!!! They must have good jobs, because I don't think living in Prague is cheap! I,m really glad that you have the chance to stay in such a beautiful place, our posh girl sure deserves it! :D Can't wait to hear about the rest of your trip, and about the clinic of course!

Lee,
Your angel is SUCH a sweet thought! Made me all warm and fuzzy inside! ;) Sending you lots of good waves for your apt on Monday.

Renee,
Happy bday to your grandma! I hope you guys have a fabulous time together! How cool that you can have that kind of relationship with your grandma! Same on my side; both my grandmas raised me for a part of my life, and we have a close relationship. Given that my parents were only 19 and 20 when they got me, my grandparents are still young (early 70ies and 84), so now it's amazing to enjoy the "woman" they are, not just the grandma. Like that time my 84 years old grandma told me about when she found old love letters in a box at the bottom of a closet... and how some men kept hitting on her when she was single and working, how one used to take her to restaurants for lunch and casually mentioned he'd really like the meal to end on the floor of one of the Chateau Frontenac's bedrooms! How often can someone hear that kind of girl-to-girl secret from a grandma? I could HEAR her blush on the phone, lol! Geez it was so cute and cool! ;) Of course, when she met my grandpa, all that was over, but she only met him at 24 years old, so there was lots of flirting involved before that! ;)

Angie,
LOL I love reading your posts! Always sounds like you're sitting on a plugged car battery or something! So much energy! ;) The uncheese cookbook is filled with recipes for solid or spreadable or even saucy cheeses of all kinds. I tried boursin and cream cheese, and I'll taste them tomorrow. I can't eat dairy, and I still haven't found soy cream cheese that doesn't taste like cardboard... not to mention the taste of cheddar... I miss that too, and there are lots of cheddar recipes in there. Given the reviews, I think the recipes are really worth a try; apparently, she had tasters who eat and enjoy cheese, and she only kept the recipes they liked. OF course it's never 100% like the original, but the boursin smelled really promising, and the cream cheese is as white as snow, really promising as well!

Okay, gotta go... housewarming party tonight at an old friend's... have to get dinner going, and make myself look remotely presentable! ;) Take care ladies!
