Gosh how tall are your babies? Mine are 23 inches and I know that is fine since they were early but they just do not fit in their exersaucer.

Well we are going to try Brooke on solids tonight. I tried putting my spoon of oatmeal near her mouth at breakfast and she opened up! So we shall see!! We started solids way early. They were not supposed to start rice till Feb since that would be their adjusted age but the doc said not to wait. Kenzie already eats green beans, peas, prunes, apples, bananas, pears, sweet potatoes, butternut squash, etc. She LOVES food! I wish I could get her to eat more so she would sleep longer at night. I give her half a jar of fruit and veggie at night. Sometimes I do cereal (mixed) with a fruit mixed into it so she likes the taste better and that fills her up more than the other food. I hope Brooke starts soon!!!

Hi Girls
Gecko and Rio thanks for asking after me its nice to know i'm missed i appreciate it.

Anyhow I'm still plodding around reading when i can but just not finding the time to write as well or not having the energy were in the middle of toilet training ds again doing work out in the yard and still having some dramas with Katies feedings thankfully our Pedi appoitment is coming up in about two weeks now and hopefully i can get some answers.

Kbear great to have you back i see you named your daughter katie also just for curiosity did she have a middle name i had trouble picking one and am interested what you came up with
Corny hope all has gone well with Abby and that shes recovering well and your enjoying changing those nappies thinking of you both
Ct Michelle and Mellie good luck with your cycles hope everything goes to plan and your both sharing your BFP's real soon
For those of you using a jumperoo which i presume is similar to a jolly jumper when did you start using it how well does bub have to support themselves to be safe.
I had planned on starting katie on solids in the next couple of weeks and have now been told that it is recommended not to start until they are 6 months old when will someone decide whats best and stick to it people are always finding something wrong with products and recommending we avoid them and then next thing you know they are telling us it's great for us and recommend we have more of it so i guess i'll have to look more into it and make my own decision its just frustrating i guess.
sorry have to run Katies crying
take care Jomae

The girls are sick, husband is sick, and I am not going to get it! lol I am trying this whole Zycam thing to see if it works. Brooke had to go to the ER last night and get a breathing treatment. I wish the doctor would just give us something to use at home when she gets sick because she always has a hard time breathing. So pray they start to get well soon as I need to get some sleep again...

Other news, house hunting is going...we can not find anything for under $250. I thought this was supposed to be a buyers market? Not here in Tallahassee I suppose! It is just so annoying that our paycheck will go towards this and we will still be poor! lol. Once the girls are in school it will be nice to go back to work so I can help with things and start saving for retirement  Weird to think we need to start doing that!

Hi Ladies!

Can I please join you in this thread? I recognise some of the names from past cycles and from endless reading of other threads in my obssessed cycling days.
IVF number 4 (our last shot at it!) gave us our much longed for little baby girl who arrived 5 1/2 weeks early weighing 5lb 9oz.

Looking forward to chatting to you (if you'll have me!)

hey ladies! Can you believe it is already february? Time flies!

Suga- Ella was 24" at her last appt. She is small for her age, but long. She outgrows many pants but still is in smaller onesies than she is supposed to be. I am sorry to hear everyone is sick, I have been lucky this season so far, dh, me and Ella have not been sick yet, knock on wood. Good luck on the house hunt, I though it was a buyers market too. I would love to look for a bigger house, but I could never sell mine for what I would need to, so we will have to wait it out in this tiny little house, or as a realtor would say, "cozy."

Rio- I did find out that I should keep my body out of ketosis while pregnant because of the ketones. It is going to be hard, I am used to keeping my body in ketosis, and dh too. I am going to have to add some smart carbs to my diet, like oatmeal and fruits and veggies. I don;t want dh to fall off the diet, he really needs to lose the weight.

Well, i go for a bunch of pretests this week that I will keep you all posted about. It is going to be a couple of crazy weeks with semester, clinic, and tutoring. If all goes well, I will start stims in just 18 days, I can;t believe how fast it is creeping up!

Talk to you all soon!

Charlie78: WELCOME! We would love to have you! Congrats on your little miracle of a baby girl! What is her name?? I think I recognize your name as well...but we are open for anyone.

gecko: Let us know how day care is! I can not imagine!

CT: Ugh I am getting tired of house hunting because the area we want to live in is so expensive and it is annoying. You want a good school district you have to pay more money *sigh*

I have a Weight Watchers meeting tonight. It will be interesting to see if I lost anything because on Sat I did not follow it whatsoever I was so stressed with the ER and sick babies and no sleep that I ate M&Ms...and a rice krispy lol. But I am back on track now (I was on track yesterday as well). I have a hard time eating fruits and veggies...I just do not like them that much. I seriously need to get over it and just eat them lol.

The girls are starting to get a little better. Brooke was up every three hours last night (there bouts) because of burping and gas. UGH. So she was starting at 8:30 (note they eat at 6:30) and then again at 12:30. Then she slept till 4AM and was not hungry just needed to be burped. Then she woke up with Kenzie at 7AM. Kenzie ate at 10PM then 4AM!! So they are going longer stretches.

We just got back from bean's appointment here are the stats

4 months old (+1 day!)
16lb10oz
26 1/4"

BIG BEAN! Doc said to continue only breastfeeding until he is 6mos old, I told him I didn't know if he was getting enough cause I never pump and measure but he said that judging from his size, he is doing great. He is in 90% for height and 80% for weight and 75% for head size.

I am at work and so wishing I was home

Gecko - how did it go?
Suga - how is the cold season at your house? And how is house hunting?
Loopie - where are ya?
CT- wow 18 days till stimms, you are almost there!

Rio: House hunting is starting to bum me out because it is just so expensive. The house we really like...the people are willing to do a lease/purchase till we have more money so that would be nice but it depends on how much they want us to pay them in rent. Who knows!

The colds are gone for the most part. Just some sneezes here and there. I am a total believer in Zicam (sp) because I took it when I thought I was going to get sick and never did! I recommend it to anyone!

Not much is going on other than that. I think my mom will have to come up the 13 to go to Shands with me because the hubby can not get off of work...so I need someone to go with me because I can not do it on my own esp. if they scope them or something. So it will be nice seeing her this weekend and next. On the 14 we are taking her to look at the houses we like to get her opinion so that will be nice as well.

Anywhoo, relaxation time now that the girls are in bed!

Hi all!

wow- you all are doing so great with your beans!
suga- house hunting must be a nightmare-are the girls coming with you on these outings? or have you someone to sit while you're looking? I know you'll find just the right place- give it time

CT/ mellie- af here yet?

can't remember who commented- but the cutie in the Santa Suit is Katie's boy -Parker -
i'll post some new pix of the tiny one soon- I was having a tough day yesterday, so I dug out the box of old hand knitted sweaters and hats/bonnets from our families (some are over 75 yrs old and still looking good) and put them on Pulman and laughed so hard and took photos - he was soooo pissed at me

Gecko- how is daycare going?

Jomae- great to hear from you- hope ds's potty training goes smoothly

Charlie- Hello!!!! and welcome - the more the merrier -wow- my little guy was 5 days late and weighed 5lb 9 oz!!!

and speaking of size... holy big strong baby Rio!!! that's terrific

oh- so Pulman started flipping over from belly to back- day after we were at the doc's for his 3 month appt- and she told me to do more tummy time- put him on his belly, and voila! he rolled right over- now i don't know how i'll get him to stay  :D he also loves these jingle bug things someone gave us they are from Infantino- he grabs them and rattles them like a champ- gets quite a workout- in fact, he's grabbing them with his feet right now, too

we threw a baby shower for my dear friend (who also did IVF) on Sunday- it was a great time and lots of people- she's due April first and has a nice round b-ball belly. Pulman was wiped out due to all the attention

Corny- you and Abby are in our thoughts

Yes rio, seriously you little one is healthy for sure! I always think breast fed babies are bigger in weight than formula babies for some reason.

We take the girls with us house hunting as there is no one to watch them that does not have kids. And since they can not be around other kids that leaves them with us! It is ok though...not too horrible.

Hey girls!

Loopie- AF came a while ago for me, I have been on bcp's for 3 weeks now, I take my last one on the 16th and am supposed to start stimming on the 20th.

I had my sonohystogram today and thought it would be uneventful, but I was wrong. RE said he saw what he thinks is a polyp and will confirm it tomorrow during the hysterocopy. He said if it is a polyp it will most likely have to be surgically removed. Does anyone know anything about polyps? I really hope this doesn;t delay my cycle, I really want to get going being I get frustrated and change my mind.

Charlie- Of course you can join! A big welcome to you!

I read cornys blog the other day and it looks like abby is getting better by the day. Hopefully she will stop in soon and give us an update. We are all thinking about you corny!

Ok, gotta run, I will update tomorrow after my next appt.

CT Michele - I had a hysteroscopy which turned into a polypectomy (sp) and it was ok. They did the hysteroscopy because it was the last test they could do to figure out why I had failed both IVF attempts. She found some small polyps that were removed at that time and voila - I got pregnant the next IVF try. It isn't too painful because they keep you pretty sedated. I did bleed for a long time after though - not a lot but lots of spotting for a month. I finally went on BCP to start my IVF cycle and the bleeding stopped. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Declan loves daycare! I am so glad and relieved. He gets lots of attention at the center he goes to and is very mellow and relaxed about it all. He doesn't sleep well there yet so he has been taking some massive naps late in the day that are kinda interfering with our bedtime schedule but I am sure we will all adjust. Today he is home with DH though because he has his 4 month doctor check and shots. I am really curious about how much he weighs. I think he is really big but we will see how his percentiles are this check.

We have decided to go for #2 late this summer/fall. Yippee! I am going to call my RE and set up a consult in June and see what kinds of preliminary testing I need for a FET and I hope to be able to cycle in September or October. I am really excited. We have 4 blasts and will try and try until they are gone. We really only want one more but with the success rates of FET it may take a couple of tries. In a weird way I am really looking forward to being pregnant again - God willing.

Hope the rest of you are doing well. I will post some new pictures soon.
