Ah ladies, What a wonderful beginning to a new year.

Congratulations Children! I'm so glad your boy is here safe and sound, and he is big too! The pictures are adorable, and you have beautiful children. Good job Mummy and Maxime!

Neffi - you sound so very happy, it is wonderful! I'm glad Jack is home and you are all doing well. Looking forward to pictures soon!

Dakota- yay for vaccuming!!! Glad you are able to start doing more now,and are getting ready for Gracie.

Adsgirl - aw. I know how you feel. This has been an amazing journey, and I am so glad to have had you all to share it with. We are all blessed to be here with our babes here with us too, whether inside or out!

ftg - good luck tomorrow girl. Looking forward to hearing your delivery story! I'll be thinking of you.

We are going weekly to the OB now, so next appointment tomorrow, with another non stress test. I'm getting a lot more aches and pulls down there, and have definitely dropped  I am finishing work this Friday too, today had to pull a 12 hour day and it just about finished me off. Then went to home depot with DH to get shelves for the babies closet...I was moving like a snail!

I hope they stay in for a bit longer so I can relax after finishing work. Can't wait!! They are really starting to stretch my belly out now, sigh, stretch marks are multiplying all by themselves

looking forward to reading tomorrow for more wonderful news, thinking of all of you :)

Hi everyone .... I wanted to update you all and let you all know that Joshua James and Mason Arnold have joined us. I had a c-sec on Wed the 28th at 7:45Am. And to be honest it was not that bad. But then after I was out cold for the entire day. Family came to visit and I was just asleep the entire time. Pain is there still now but I have meds and I am taking its not horrible but I have a tendency to do to much and then it hurts.

We have wonderful family though and they are here everyday to help. The boys are one week today!!!! Nights how ever suck. Mason is a fuss and will not sleep and at but during the day no prb. Plus he is is having a hard time nursing we keep having to give him the pumped bottle. Josh is are quiet one a great eater. Funny thing is in the hospital it was different. DH and I are very tired but we love them soooooooooo much and they are perfect.

Mason was 6 pounds 7 oz and 19 inch long
Joshua was 5 pounds 13 oz and 18 inch long

I hope the nights get easier but we are ready for it ...... I think

I have to go only get a sec of me time these days

Congrats Gennessa! I'm so glad to hear your family is home! I hope your nights get better! I'm sure they will! I also am having trouble breast feeding...although the opposite of you.....my milk has not come in and I only get a tiny little bit....Jack is great at latching on, but I have nothing to give him. I gave up pumping today.....I am sad, but there is nothing I can do! I always thought I would breast feed! Oh well, I have to feed my child and formula is the only way that is going to happen! I had wonderful lactation consultants at the hospital and even tried a bunch of herbs with no luck! I hope that you have better luck!

Jack had his first doctors appt today! He is now 5lbs 10 oz. He looks good and we will go back in a week to make sure he is gaining enough weight! He is doing well at night and usually only is up a couple hours. I try to sleep during the day but it is hard! I'm sure we will get a lot of visitors this weekend! Okay keep the posts coming!

Gennessa - Congratulations and welcome home Joshua and Mason! I'm so happy to hear the boys are doing good and I wish you the best in figuring out their routines :)

Jude - Sorry to hear about the aches and pains, but glad you're done with work. I totally relate to the moving like a snail, but you're carrying 2 and have a way better excuse :) I'll keep my fingers crossed that they stay in a bit longer and you get to enjoy a little time off for yourself!

Neffi - You have a great outlook, just get Jack the food he needs. I'm sorry you're milk has not come in and you're not able to breastfeed, but you'll bond with him and enjoy every minute. Good luck.

Just popping in real quick to add congrats to Genn & Children on the new arrivals.

Neffi, glad that little Jack is eating an sleeping well.

I hope everyone is hanging in there!! Little Gracie must have hit a growth spurt because my belly is so tight and hard that it hurts now. Iy actually feels like its on fire.

I'll post more later, I'm tired. We go the crib assembled and "dressed" today, I packed the dresser and worked on washing the little socks, mittens, hats and bibs today. Tomorrow is curtains, wall art, closet and installing car seat. I'm really pooped!!!

Hi Ladies!!
Congrats new mommas! Neffi, you nailed it. The most shocking thing for me in this whole experience was the emotion and the indescribable love you are instantly filled with the moment you touch them. Truly a life changing moment and I too am so excited for all you that are getting ready to deliver to have this experience. It is beyond words.

Sorry it took me so long to post this. I have been buried in babies and visiting friends and family. Our girls were born at 8:03 am on 1/22, Ruby Lee weighed 6 pounds 7 ounces and Betty Ann was 5 pounds 11 ounces. Both did spectacularly well. No NICU time, they roomed with me right away. We were able to do skin to skin in recovery which was magical. They laid those girls on my chest and let us lie there together for four hours. I will cherish those moments for life. They both started rooting right away and suckled here and there. The c-section was not bad, very wierd but not bad. The pain after was bearable and you are so blissed out on babies you barley notice. My time in the hospital was really great. It was a blur of snuggles and overwhelming emotion. I just stared at them for hours. I decided to feed them tandem right away and knock on wood it is working great for both of them. The are filling out fast and starting to get that chunky baby look.

Genessa - How are you doing with the double duty? Hope things are running smooth.

Children - thanks for posting the pic, they are both beautiful.

I'll try and keep up ladies. Best of luck to all of you and thank you for sharing this experience!!
