Hi Ladies!

I went to my OB appt today and found out not only am I 4cms dilated, but the baby is breeched! The doctor gave me a sonogram and saw that the baby is bottom down. The doctor was surprised and so was I, because they were already in the middle of scheduling me to be induced later this week since I'm 4cms dilated and my due date isn't until the 16th. But, since the baby is breeched, I've been scheduled for a c-section at 8am tomorrow. Wow! I can't believe my Little Bean will make her debut tomorrow. Also, I had some contractions while at my appt, but I thought they were just cramps and Braxton Hicks. My doctor said nope, not this late in the game...they were real contractions. I'd been having them for awhile now and didn't know it. I guess I have a high tolerance for pain. I'm taking it easy the rest of the evening and hope to get some sleep tonight, since I have to be at the hospital by 6:30am tomorrow. I'm not really nervous right now, but by the time I get to the hospital tomorrow, I'm sure the butterflies will kick in and I just may take off running in the opposite direction.

IMBlessed - Oh my goodness, this is exciting news! I've been worried about having contractions and not really knowing if it was the real deal or not, so guess that can happen :) Good luck tomorrow morning and let us know how things go, once you're home and have had lots of rest and bonding. I'm so happy for you and DH!!

Rubylee - Congratulations and welcome Ruby Lee and Betty Ann. I'm so happy to hear you're all doing well and that the girls latched on and knew exactly what to do, what a relief for you. Also glad to hear the c-section went well and you're recovering nicely, what a bonus.

Dakota - Hang in there, just a little longer. I hear ya though, I'm ready for our little to arrive anytime after next weekend! She'll be 37 weeks and fullterm and I'm just ready. Belly is getting tighter by the minute!

Rubylee-- congrats to you as well! I'm glad to hear that breast feeding is going well for you!

I will get so pics posted soon I promise! I feel like I have no time for anything right now. Jack isn't sleeping so well, so I have been tryingto sleep during the day when I can. I feel like I am just helping the situatuon and I should be trying to keep him awake during the day! I dont know what is better....he is still so little and needs his rest! Anyway....hope everyone is having a good week!

Hi ladies:
Liam Shaun was born Weds 2/4 at 8:25am. He weighed 7.9lbs, and was 20 inches! The dr. bet on the 8's so even after 20+ yrs of delivery they can be off :) He was perfect and I felt the moment they lifted him out as my back pain/pressure was relieved. I looked at his little body with his arms stretched out and I yelled "sweetheat!" I feel so much emotion just writing this I felt that all the waiting and luck in the world finally brought him to us. I couldn't take my eyes off of him, neither could DH. He was kicking and screaming the whole time, and I've never heard a better sound in my ears. We were wheeled back to our room with him right along side us where he latched on at 10am and never looked back. Our boy is a hoover vacuum because I was raw the first day! My milk came in like gangbusters Friday night, and I have to now pump less to ensure I don't get too much. I have to use a nipple protector, but am hoping to heal enough to get off of it. I had no idea I'd have that much. He is quite the eater. We left for home Friday afternoon and he was 7.2lbs.

Yesterday we had our post-partum appt and he was back up to 7.4lbs, today at his peds appt he's now 7.7lbs! We just love him to death, and we are being allowed 3 and 4 hr stretches of sleep at night. We just feed him a lot, and he passes out happily. We know that will change and will take it where we can.

Link is attached - his pics are at the end. I am so happy for you all I'll be able to post more later. CONGRATS to everyone - I love hearing all this good news!!

Rubylee-Congrats!!!! I am so happy for you. I am thrilled that your girls are doing great and I cant wait to see pictures.

Imblessed- Wow...your little one will be born tomorrow!! I cant wait to hear back from you on your c/s. Good Luck!

Neffi- sorry little jack is not sleeping well. I am sure once he hits 2 weeks he'll be sleeping 4 hours at a time. Hang in there, I am looking forward to pictures.

Ftg- Congrats momma!!!! Liam is so cute!! He loves his thumb, those shots are so great! Wow, he is a huge eater. Good eaters makes good sleepers. again, congrats!

I had my weekly dr apt today. still just 1.5cm, but almost all thinned out. Her head is right there and hurts to walk daily, on top of the fire on my belly she sure lets me know she's in charge. I got a non stress test today and all seems well. I get an u/s on monday to check placenta, fluid and growth.

DH tore all the old wooden closet organizers out, painted and installed new organizers. so, now her closet is nice, new and organized. I pretty much have all baby stuff done. I stocked up on groceries today now I need to work on getting my house cleaned. Dont want Gracie coming home to a dirty house!!

It is so exciting to see everyone having their babies. Its amazing how far we've come. I watched a baby story today and balled my eyes out. I just know I am going to cy so hard once she is born. I am going to want to sit and do nothing but watch and stare at her. I just cant wait!!! I am going to be a greedy mommy, no one else is going to hold her :D :D

Hope all is well with everyone and keep the babies coming!!!

Ftg - Congratulations and welcome home Liam! Your pictures brought tears to my eyes, this is such an exciting time for all of us. He's perfect!

Dakota - You're almost there, just a little longer. You deserve to be greedy with your little one, you've worked hard to get to this point. Good luck, I hope she arrives soon.

Neffi - I hope Jack starts sleeping better, I'm sure you could use the rest.

We had our last u/s today and it looks as though she's around 7lbs so far. Everything looked great, but I'm not yet dilated. I'm 50% effaced and she's started to drop, so I'm hoping we don't go the full 40 weeks. Everything is ready for her arrival, so keeping my fingers crossed she's ready to meet us soon :)

Hi everyone!
Well Madison Olivia arrived February 5th at 9:10 am via c-section. She weighed 7 lbs. 9 oz and is 21 1/2 inches long. First day was a nightmare. Had major reactions to the morphine but after that it's been wonderful! I wouldn't change a thing!

I'm happy to read that everything is going so well for everyone! YEAH to the 2009 February babies!!!!!!! :D

Hopeful, ftg, and Rubylee - CONGRATULATIONS!! It is SO exciting to read all of your posts!! Sorry you had to go through a tough time with the morphine, hopeful, but glad to hear everything is going smooth now! I'm so happy for you! ftg - Thanks so much for sharing the link to your pics! I loved looking at little baby Liam...what a sweet boy! And miss Rubylee - I'm so happy to hear that everything with you and your two little babes is going well! Had been wondering about you and am glad you are all well!

Imblessed - Thinking of you and hoping all is well with you and your little one! Can't wait to hear your news!

I am 35.5 weeks now and getting very anxious. Hope I don't really have to wait 4 more weeks!! Today, I'm going on an all-day job interview. I feel ridiculous going on an interview with this enormous belly leading the way, but hopefully it will go well and I can have a job lined up for the summer. Thankfully I told them on a phone interview that I'm pregnant and that my baby is due in March...otherwise I'm sure they would have been quite surprised when I walked in! Wish me luck...I need all my strength and energy to combat the "baby brain" lapses and make a good impression!

Hope you are all having a wonderful day...I just love reading all these updates as the babies arrive!! What a process we have all gone through!

Hey Ladies...

Jack was 6lbs 5 oz at his appt today! He is really packin on the lbs!!!!! He is such a joy, can't wait for the rest of you to have your little ones. But, don't be too excited to go early! Trust me, even though you may be ready, the baby is not! I would take a couple more weeks of pregnancy before that week in the NICU any day!!!!

ftg! Congratulations on little Liam! He looks adorable, thanks for posting all the great pics. What a journey!

Hopeful! Congrats to you and baby Madison! Sorry to hear about the morphine reaction, but so glad you are okay and things are great.

Dakota - almost there girl. She's getting ready to make her entrance to the world.

Angram - glad you have everything ready now - just chill and make the most of these last few weeks :)

Ads - good luck with your interview! I bet they will be damn impressed that you could make it to an interview at this point, and I'm sure you will make a great impression. Fingers crossed

Neffi, yay for baby Jack putting on the weight! That's great. Just think how big he will be by the time you get to the full 40 weeks!

I went for the OB check yesterday, and have started to dilate!! He said we're at 2 cm and 80% effaced!!! I asked him for his best estimate and he said maybe 2 more weeks......I hope he's right! The closet is almost finished now, DH just has to do the baseboards and paint the door and we are done with the nursery yay! I would have been washing all the cute baby clothes today, but our dryer belt went yesterday, so I guess that'll be a weekend job.
I can feel a lot more twinges on my cervix now, and the OB said he could definitely feel a head  . Getting excited now!!

I love all this good news, keep it coming! Happy Valentines!

Neffi - It's great to see Jack, my goodness he was tiny! You look wonderful and I hope a routine is starting to come together for you guys.

My BH contractions have started to gain a little momentum this past week, so we'll find out tomorrow morning if I'm yet dilated :)

I hope everyone is doing well.
