lots of baby dust to you malya! Are you doing another FET or a fresh cycle?

siouxie - hope those numbers keep rising - sounds like the embryo may have implanted later than expected - as the # seemed to jump after the 3rd beta -- thinking of you.

barb - heartfelt congratulations!

I am hanging in there - I don't test till the 25th. keep your fingers crossed for me.

BarbD- Congrats!! That is a great beta, how many dpt were you? This seems like a really lucky month.

Soiuxsie- I am praying for you and your beta to continue to rise properly. They say it is more about it doubling than the actual number, and yours doubled last time! When will you go back for another beta, Monday? I know you have already told us, but I can't remember. Have fun over the weekend.

Malya- Glad you are going again, good luck. This is going to be the one!

I have poas a few times now and they have all come back positive. I am excited, but I really want to see a good beta number this Thursday. After you've had miscarrages just getting pregnant is not the whole task.

brit1612--i was 11dpt. I did about 3 poas and they were all positive but it was nerve racking yesterday to wait for that phone call.

yeah this is an experimental FET. I'm now cd 4 and I'm on two patches every three days and 1mg estrodial vaginaly twice a day. Last time we never transfered because my lining never stayed at 7mm for more then a day. This time I'm not on lupron either, wonder why? I no longer have the energy to get an explanation, I now just do what I'm told. Maybe I'll be more into it later.

Summer baby and smiles - where are you guys both at??

Thanks so much all for all the support and taking the time out to indulge me with heart felt replies. I know I was just feeling very sorry for myself - and bummed that I am letting this all get to me.

We are on another cycle now - I started BCP and expect to start fresh cycle injections probably at the end of this month - as soon as get back from overseas work trip. I just feel this strange sense of abandon and resignation - probably a bit like you malaya in just doing what your told and going with the flow. I have this horrible feeling that the next round won't work either - I can't explain how I feel that - and am just horrified at the 20,000 NZD debt we will now have - worst thing is its actually stopping us from buying a home - so we can't even put it against the mortage or anything - just means we have to rent for another 3-4 years whilst we pay this debt of (ugh). Just going through the motions now I think and leaving it in the hands of miracles and those who can make these things happen.

wow barb, what a great # for only being 11dpt! sounds like you have a strong and healthy pregnancy ahead. best of luck with the next steps!

malya - how often will they check your lining? Are you on a higher dosage of meds this time around? drink, drink, drink and stay away from lots of exercise -- to keep the blood flow centered and not always moving out to your extremities -- wishing you lots of luck that this time you will make it to transfer!!

mel - so sorry to hear about your BFN. Surprised you have jumped right back on the bandwagon to try again without giving yourself some time to tank some PMA - Do hope you find that within you to strengthen your conviction that it can and will work for you. A lot of this IVF stuff is science based, but part of it is truly mind over matter. Don't be afraid to get your hopes up and think positive that this it! Wishing you all the luck in the world that this is your time!!! Where will you be going on your business trip?

They check the lining every three days. Last time I was on Lupron shot, 1 mg of estradial three times a day and two patches at first. Then they had upped me to add three patches and two more mg of estradial taken vaginaly. Now they just have me on two patches and 1mg of estradial twice a day, taken vaginaly. I go back tomorrow. I'm not quite sure what the plan is, but I hope it works. Thanks so much for the dust, I hope it works.

malya, on what day of your cycle are you on and on what day do they want to do the FET? -- here the minimum estradial they usually start you on is 6mg...what are the patches? I've never used those. Whatever they are doing, I really, really hope it works! Good luck at your appt. xx summer

Today is cycle day 5. The patches are estrogen 1 mg each I use them for 72 and then change them. I don't know when transfer is b/c this is an experimental cycle, they are just tring to get my lining up. I go in for b/w and u/s tomorrow. I'll have an update and ask the question when transfer is, but I bet I'll get an "we'll see".

hi malya, wishing you good luck today with your scan. Hope the lining is starting to do its thing! Here they 1st checked my lining on day 10, then day 12 and they did the transfer on day 18...They do have a window when they usually like to do the transfers and should be able to give you an idea at least...Then maybe you won't feel so in the dark and will have an approximate date to think about...

Malya- My clinic won't tell you when the transfer will be either. They like to wait and see what your body is going to do. Mine will usually give you a 2 or 3 day window. I would suggest that if nothing else.

barb- that is a great number for 11dpt!! Did you have a 3 or 5 day?? Either way it is great!

Mel- Sorry about the bfn, I find that it helps to jump right back into it. It gets your mind off the negative and onto the possible positive coming up. Hope eveything goes great with this next round.

I am actually 11dp5dt today, my test is not until 14dp5dt!!! But I got my first very, very faint positive at 5dp5dt, and a better positive the next day. I have always had low betas with my miscarrages, so I am hoping this is a sign that I will have a better beta this time!

On a funny note. I went to the clinic this morning and low and behold my appt is not till the 19th. We all had a good laugh and I left to contemplate what an idiot I am in the car. So no news until then.
