Pictures are wonderful! Neffi, what a cutie pie little jack is, I love his blond hair, and Hopeful, Madison is beautiful. Her daddy will be beating them off with sticks when she grows up!

Dakota and Tara - I know exactly what you are talking about! I had to laugh at you Tara with your little one feeling like she's going to wave at you any minute. I feel like if I don't squeeze down there when they are tromping around on my cervix that some part of them is going to pop out!
It definitely isn't comfortable anymore!

We won't have anyone staying at our house to begin with, but my inlaws live only 5 mins away and I know they will be over a lot to help. My stepkids will come and stay 2-3 days per week as per normal for them, (and more if we let them I'm sure, they are so excited now!). My mum and dad live in England with the rest of my family still, and they are coming around the 8 week mark for 3 months to stay in our house, so when I go back to work we don't have to worry about daycare to begin with, which is soooo great. They were going to come from the beginning, but I'm glad they aren't really, a/because of the daycare benefits for all of us, and b/I did want just me and DH and the twins to have bonding time.

Oh we had our last growth scan Monday, and they are estimated at 5lb 14oz for the boy, and 5lb 15oz for the girl!!!!!!!! No wonder my belly is huge!

thinking of all of you ladies a lot, I hope those with their babies already are loving every tired minute, and for those of us still to go, hang in there!

Almost to that point Neffi!
I think maybe it's because I don't think I'll ever be experiencing this again, that I just want to suck in every last possible minute of being pregnant. I feel so blessed and I'm not ready to let them out yet! Plus I'm just a little scared of the fact that they have to come out one way or another!
Hope little Jack is eating well :D

Hi all,

I am obviously not able to keep up the coming babies! I checked out all the pic links finally and am amazed by how beautiful those infants are! Aren't we all blessed.

ftg, are you sure that you are 37? You look wonderful, so does your precious Liam! I am impressed how fast he grows too, you must have power milk.

Hopeful, Madison is so cute and I am sure that you had a lot of fun dressing her.

Neffi, how is your milk situation now? Has it started to come? From the pics, you look wonderful, it's hard to believe that you just gave birth. You must be recovering well since you could keep up with posts. Very happy to know that Jack is thriving too!

Dakota, Jade, Adgirl, Angram, and Tarabel, Hang in there, it won't be long now. Looking forward to meet your miracles soon!

Children-- milk never came in, thanks for asking though. I did herbs and everything. I gave up a week ago. Jack is doing great on the formula though, and I am fine with it. There is nothing I can do to change it, so I just can't stress over it. Jack slept in his room for the first time last night and slept the whole night, minus feedings!!!! I was so happy! He is doing soooo great! He is such a content, happy baby, I am so lucky! He is really starting to plump up and he is so cute, of course I think so! He is eating about 3 oz every 3-4 hours. The only thing that is nice about bottle feeding is that DH can help out! Good luck to everyone....keep the posts coming!

Jude-- I was the same way, I loved being pregnant minus my carpal tunnel. I didn't want him to come, and now that I look back, I don't even remember being pregnant that much. It's sad, I miss my big belly and the kicking and hiccups! But having them here is even better, hopefully I will be pregnant again someday!

Hi Neffi,

I am glad that you made peace with you milk situation. I like your way of thinking - go with the flow. You had tried everything within your power, there won't be much really to do. Taking care of newborn is already stressful enough, there is no reason to add more to it. Sounds like that Jack is doing great and that is truly rewarding!

Hi Ladies - Only have time for a quick post...went to the doc on Monday - she said I was 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced. She told me that this ws no indication of when the baby would come and that I could still even go past my due date. I can't imagine going past my due date at this point. I am so uncomfortable and having a hard time sleeping...plus, it's painful just to walk around. Plus, I've been feeling nauseated - anyone else having that now?

Neffi - too bad about your milk. I have a feeling I will be in the same boat. I had breast reduction surgery about ten years ago, and they say I have a 50/50 chance of being able to breastfeed...but I haven't really had any pregnancy-related symptoms in my breasts throughout the whole pregnancy, so I'm just not very optimistic. Fingers crossed, but prepared for a different outcome. How long did you keep trying? Did you feed him from a bottle while you were still trying - or was he just not really getting anything for the first several days?

Dakota, Jude, Angram, Tara - hope you're all feeling well! Can't wait to hear your news when baby comes!

Ads- I tried for two weeks. I usually got about 1 oz in 24 hrs! I pumped every three hours and attempted BF twice a day in the NICU. Jack was so tired that we didn't want to do too much becasue then he was too tired to take the bottle. We did bottle feeding the whole time. My thought was my baby has to eat and my milk was not even close enough to cutting it! He is doing so well and I do not feel like I am missing out at all. We had cuddle time everyday and I love it so much. I do not feel like BF is the only way to bond with your baby. Although selfishly I'd like the weight to come off easier and formula is expensive!

AdsGirl - That's excellent news, just hang in there a little longer. I'm ready as well, but then yesterday I started thinking of how sad I'll be to no longer be pregnant. I cannot wait to meet her for the first time, but also a little sad to no longer feel her move inside and have this wonderful experience last. I'm not sure if I'll ever be pregnant again, so this has been the most wonderful experience of my life. Try to enjoy as much as you can, although I know the other stuff really sucks right now...I'm there with ya :)

We're almost there ladies. I cannot wait!!! :P

Hi Everyone!

Adsgirl - I am having the exact same symptoms. I had to leave work early yesterday because I felt so crappy and nauseous. I went to the dr. on Wednesday and he said I am almost a 2. I think he just said that me make me feel better. He did say we would figure what to do next Friday!

Hope every has a great weekend

Hello everyone I have been MIA for a while. We had our precious little babies Evan and Emma 3 weeks ago today. They are perfect and healthy! Evan weighed 5lbs 8 oz and Emma weighed 6lbs even. I had a c-section and got very sick and threw up most of the first day so I was out of it but things were better the next day. Evan had a hard time latching on and one of my nipples is inverted so that was another problem so I am pumping every 2 1/2 to 3 hours so they can get my breast milk and we are using formula as well. I was really sad that I couldn't breast feed but at least they are getting it from me pumping. I have attached a couple of links so you can see them. One is the video we had made from the day they were born and the other is just them relaxing earlier in the week.

I am so happy for everyone who has had there babies and looking forward to hearing about everyone else who will be soon! We are all so blessed and I can't tell you how much I love my little ones.
