Dakota!!!
Good luck honey. I will be thinking about you and little Gracie! Hope that all goes well for you both :)

Ang - I am sure you are going to be very soon too!

Neffi - I am at a loss to be able to help you, never had anything to do with newborns before! When I met my husband, his youngest was already 2, so the 0-2 age is going to be an adventure for me. I hope he settles in soon, I am imagining that babies cry a lot....I know I've been following the double/triple trouble thread a bit to see what's to come, and the girls on there seem to have excellent advice - maybe check it out. Meanwhile, give Jack a hug from me :)

Neffi,

No, it’s not normal if a baby cries excessively!

Is Jackson 2 weeks beyond his official due day? If this is the case, that means you will need this book (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/ ... veda482-20). I am reading it even though my baby is not crying for no obvious reasons.

Good luck!

Dakota,

Looking forward to meet Gracie!

Hey guys-

Hey, I think I was misleading in my last post.....Jack hardly ever cries, but he is crying sometimes now and I think it may be gas. I was just saying that for the first four weeks I could count on one hand the times he cried, now it's just more often. I am trying gas drops to see if this helps. It seems to be after he eats, he doesn't spit up alot so I guess i's not acid reflux, but he seems aggitated after eating all of a sudden? We will see how the drops go.

Hi Everyone

Dakota - Hope we hear something soon.
Neffi - Hope Jack gets feeling better soon. I can only imagine how hard it is when they are upset.

Angram and Jude- How are you doing any news?

Hope everyone is well. Sorry if I missed you.

Had my last ob appt yesterday. I am still at a 1 and 80% but he decided to start me on Wednesday night. So we will get to meet our little Ariana sometime on Thursday! I immediately started crying when he said that. I am scared and excited and still in a little shock that I am going to have a baby after 12 years of trying.
Have a great weekend everyone. Can't wait to hear the about all the babies that are still to come and about all the little ones that have graced us!

Dakota, let us know how everything goes. I'm excited for you. You're in my thoughts!

Angram, your time is quickly coming. With all of the labor pains you've been experiencing, you'll probably have a speedy delivery.

Neffi, I'm experiencing the same issues with Zariya. She rarely cried during the first couple of weeks....for a minute, I thought something was wrong, but the dr said all babies are different...some cry a lot while others don't. But then, she started crying more after her feedings. Since my husband is lactose intolerant, the dr suggested that Zariya try a formula that's lactose free. So, we switched formulas and it works well for her, except when I mix it with breast milk, she gets gassy again. I hate to see my baby in pain. I just may take her off the breast milk totally if it continues to cause her gas.

Tara, I was a ball of emotions also when I found out exactly when I was going to deliver my baby. I cried, was scared, but excited and relieved. And once your baby gets here, you'll still be a ball of emotions, because Ariana is gonna steal your heart. Just to look at her little face while holding her is gonna overwhelm your heart with joy. By the way, I like the name Ariana....very pretty.

So I have decided that I think that Jack does this crying thing when he is tired. I think it also may be a little bit of gas also, but I think he is fighting going to sleep! Once he does it a few minutes then he is out! It's interesting trying to figure out what your baby needs and wants. We had a really good night last night...Jack slept for 5 hours straight! I woke up and was freaked out! I hope this continues..but I'm not getting my hopes up :)

Tara-- yeah, you are almost there...dont be scared, you will do great and soon have your precious baby home with you!

Dakota and Ang - I keep checking for updates! Can't wait to hear the latest from both of you!

Tara - Thinking of you! You must be crazy with anticipation!! Hope all goes smoothly tomorrow!

I had an OB apt yesterday - am at 2 cm and 80% effaced. 38 weeks and all I can think about is finally meeting my little girl. DH and I hope it happens soon...if we have to wait another two or three weeks, that would be torture! It's her schedule, though, I just hope she's impatient like me!

Jude- how are you feeling? Anything new?

Good morning ladies, Audrey Christine arrived last Friday evening at 10:20pm, 7 lbs 4 oz and 21.5" :) I had a doc appt at 10am, was at 4cm and contractions hadn't stopped since Tuesday night, so they admitted us and broke my water. Contactions got pretty serious but dilation wasn't progressing enough, so they started pitocin at 2pm and we were off to the races from there!

Our daughter is absolutely beautiful and I'll send you guys pictures once we've uploaded to our site - www.chrisandang.com. My husband had a temporary page up, but hopefully we'll get it updated soon with pictures of Audrey.

She latched on the very first try, which was such a blessing. She's down to 6lbs 9oz now and my milk had not come in as of yesterday, so our pedi asked that we give her a little formula to help. We're using the SNS system, which is a tube I tape to my nipple, so she still thinks she's breast feeding. Anyway, looks like milk is starting to come in today and I have a lactation specialist coming over this afternoon, so let's hope we figure things out.

I'll write more later and read up on everyone.

Yay Ang!!!!!!

That is wonderful! I am so happy for you, and welcome to the world little Audrey. Glad that all went well, and can't wait to see the pics posted :D Congratulations!!! I'm glad your milk is starting to come in too. Enjoy this wonderful time with your new little girl and DH :)

Dakota - waiting to hear from you too!

Tara - so, I guess tomorrow is the big day! Not long now. Good luck tomorrow, I'll be thinking of you.
Ads - We are at the same place mate! 2cm and 80%, at least as far as I still know, and I'll be 38 weeks tomorrow. Which means..............induction day!
I am getting excited now, can't believe after all this it is tomorrow we get to meet the babies! We go in at 6am to labour and delivery to get going on the induction. I've been bouncing up and down on the ball, walking, drinking raspberry tea and having sex  , but to no avail. They are snug in there although it feels like they are getting lower.
Today we are getting last minute things done, cleaning the house, and I'm trying not to hyperventilate whenever I think about tomorrow!

thinking of you all xx

Welcome Audrey! I can't wait to see her.

Good Luck Jude. Sorry I missed you yesterday.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. We go in at 8:00 tonight. 10 hours to go! But my mom and sister called me this morning and I had a total come apart. I just can't believe I am going to have this little girl!
I am going to pamper myself in the mean time, hair, nails and pedicure.

Good Luck everyone. I will let you know as soon as I can.

You ladies have been the best.
Talk to you soon
