I feel ya suga. My dh promised me thatafter I had the baby he would really help me out. I do fine alone its when we are together that I do bad. Then I get upset and he doesn't get it. My DH gained wieght with me and he has already lost most of it and it seems like he barly tries. Now I havent gone to the gym in a month but its hard b/c our house is forsale and so I cant leave unless its perfect in case someone calls and then day care at the gym is only from 8-12 then 4-8 and so its hard to leave the house by that 1030 and then in the afternoon I have dinner and a fussy butt to tend to. So we have been going on walks around the neighborhood. I also just finished my classes for a month so I really need to get back to it. Sorry to go off on my own rant. I feel ya men just dont get it. Dont bring me a snack and then look at me weird when I want to eat it!!!!!!

hi mommas!
hope you are all doing great- our little ones are growing and thriving- anyone have some new pix?

Suga and Katie- I am right there with you....
i am struggling with weight as well- I have never dieted, and my exercise had always been disguised as fun stuff or construction stuff- so now I'm kind of pissed off- I have only lost the 13lbs I lost in the first couple weeks and have hovered 13lbs over pre-preg weight since then- ARRRGH!!! I know i've not been very active, but it sucks- and I wanted to lose an additional 10lbs as I kind of gained that in the last couple years after my back surgery- and to top it off- my milk supply has dwindled to only about 4-5oz/day - I am not sure when to just give up- it has me soo depressed- I suppose i am pms-ing b/c i was just so sad yesterday- i thought i was going to lose it- but the only thing i'm really losing is my hair!!!!!!!!!!

ok- enough whining-

mellie- good luck with the cycle- your mom will love to hang with Evie - I, too, love to watch folks interact with the little guy-
I'm sure they are all charmers, but Pulman really works the crowd! he has everyone convinced he is the nicest smiley baby in the universe! ( he's pretty good, but has a squeal only a mother could love)
speaking of which.....
love to all-

loopie

ps- kbear- spring is coming!!!!!!!!

loopie have you tried anything for breast milk to produce more that is? Here are some suggestions i had problems with my last dd she was a little piggie..

Brewers Yeast tablets or powder..

Mothers Mile Tea:

Dr Can prescribe reglan too

I got the best results from the brewers yeast tablets. I got like 8-10oz each pumping when i did that.. I took it from the time she was 4 mths till i stopped breast feeding i was ablt to stay ahead of her when i went back to work. Before it i was getting like 2 oz each time somethimes more

Loopie: There is a lot out there that you can take. More Milk Plus, Mothers Milk Tea, and the other stuff bdantonio stated. Here I have to find the stuff at a baby consignment shop...but you can order it offline as well.

The girls are, well, adjusting to a new schedule. They are so messed up on their naps but we are getting there (I hope). Mackenzie has been wanting to wake up at 5:30 so it has been rough....we are trying to fix that at the moment. I think teething is starting, scary!!!

Hiya Ladies-

Suga- what an interesting spelling of Machelle/Michele. I like it. Most people with our name tend to spell it Michelle, and I always have to correct them and say "one L."

Sorry to here about some of the insensitive dh's regarding weight loss. It is so hard to lose weight, and my dh has been in the battle with me for years. It is a little tough now, b/c we both have always done low carb, but I had to switch to low sodium due to my blood pressure. So we have 2 diets going on in the house right now. I know it will take me longer to lose this way, but it is way healthier and is how I should be eating anyway, just took the bp to make me realize it.

Mellie- are you cycling soon? I am scheduled to start stims on 4/10, as long as I don';t hit any more snags.

Ella is doing well. She has her 6 mo appt next thursday, she will actually be 6 and a half months by that time. I am curious to see her percentiles. She took her first big girl bath tonight, so exciting. We took some good pics too. It is definitly harder to bathe her in the big tub, but I know it is about time. She seems to like the water, so I think she will do fine at swim lessons this saturday. I got her such a cute bathing suit, but it is way too big on her, I need to make it to babies r us tomorrow and get her a smaller one, target didn;t have them smaller.

I had my polyp removal this morning, so I can not swim on saturday. My mom will get in the pool with ella and I will tape and take pictures. I really wish I could get in the pool, hopefully by next week. The polyp removal went well, I now have to wait for af, and then bcp's, and hopefully ivf cycle in april. I will keep you all updated.

Ok, I gotta run, almost bedtime for Ella and I need to rest, the anesthesia made me so nauseous and tired. Talk to you all soon.

Ok seriously, Mackenzie has been waking up around 3 or 4 AM since Monday and just talks to herself for an hour and a half!!! Then she gets stuck in the bars because she is moving around so much and I have to help her get out of them. So tonight, she is sleeping in the living room in a porta-crib where she can not get any libs stuck and I will not hear her talking. I will still hear her cry if she does that, but she does not cry. SHE TALKS! *sigh* I dunno what to do to fix this. Naps are better under control now so I do not think that is the cause. She is not teething...ugh.

suga- Ella use to wake herself up after getting limbs stuck in the slats. I ended up getting her a breathable mesh bumper and it works great, no more getting anything stuck and no fear of her suffocating on it. Here is the link to it on the toys r us website, and I saw them at babies r us yesterday

http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.js ... =107524955

loopie- Ella loved the pool. I really wish I could have gotten in with her, but my mom did it for me b/c of my surgery. I hope to be able to get in next week. She was kicking around and did great the whole time, until she got really cold at the end and I took her out a few minutes early. She was definitly the youngest one there, but I am glad she will get use to the water. I am going to post some pics on her website and put a youtube video up later.

ok, gotta run before she wakes up from her nap and get some dishes done...talk to you all soon.

Michele: I need to get some of those! I think they would help out a great deal. Why the heck are they almost $30!?!?!

ANYWHOO here is the venting. My husband, I love him to death. However last night was just it for me. I came home from the grocery store with a few things that we needed plus a few extras. I wanted Lucky Charms and a Reece's Peanut Butter Cup! So I got them. He gives me the NASTIEST look I have seen from his face. I break down right then and there. He hugs me and says what is the matter and I just walk away. I skip dinner I do not want to deal with it. Later on that night we are laying in bed (yes I finally made the plunge and moved back in our room for good) and he states he can not let me go to bed mad. I say that I am not mad I am upset. He says why...and I tell him that it sucks to know your husband thinks you are fat and disgusting. He does not disagree with me...so that hurt even more. He says, well, what can I do to help? This just upsets me more. To know that he thinks I am fat and NEED to lose weight. He says he knows it is from the fertility drugs and babies and such and harder to lose with PCOS and I just look at him. UGH to me, those should not be excuses. I tell him I do not have any excuses because I am not eating the way I should but when I am stressed I want to eat. And I am stressed lately over not getting enough sleep, always doing everything with the girls on my own, not getting any time to myself, him thinking I am fat...etc etc. Long story shot, he did not come out and say I was fat but every time I said that he thought I was fat he did not disagree. So annoying. Now I just want to starve myself. So annoying and upsetting to know your husband does not find you attractive any more. I mean, I have put on 60 lbs in the past 1.5 years so I know it has been drastic fast but...so hard to take in.

suga- I know they are pricey, but so worth it. I bought my on the Walmart website for $24 and picked in store pickup so I didn't have to pay for shipping. It was the cheapest I found it, even with using coupons on other sites. You won't regret getting it though, for you and for them. Stinks to wake up, but it was horrible to see her little arms or legs stuck, I had no choice but to get it.

As far as dh- I am so sorry about what is happening. Weight is a struggle for so many people and it is so hard to not feel attractive to your spouse. I know this for a different reason. Because of my dh's low testosterone levels and sperm production, his hormones make him like no other guy you have ever met. He doesn't sneek a look at other ladies, or fantasize about hot girls, he is just not that interested in sex. It use to really upset me because I thought he wasn't attracted to me, and it was the only problem our relationship faced. It was a miserable feeling, and he knows it and tries to do what he can to help. I can only imagine how it would feel if it were due to my weight (my dh and I both struggle with weight, so he is understanding and doesn't care about my size). All I can say is to try and keep communication open with him. Make sure you express how you feel. I am glad he did not want you to go to sleep mad, even if his responses weren't what you had hoped for. It obviously bothers him for you to be upset. Maybe you guys could do some family things to try and help the weight loss. Just let him know you need him to be supportive, even if it means he can not make faces, or judge you in anyway, or even eat yummy snacks in front of you, tell him to do it when you are not around. Of course, you can continue to vent here, and we will help you in anyway you can.

One weight loss tool I have found helps me alot is tracking what I eat, and I have been doing it on www.livestrong.com, the daily plate. You just punch in what you eat and it tracks everything, I am uysing it for sodium consumption to try and keep my blood pressure low. It makes me very aware of everything I put in my body and has helped me to cut back on calories. I have already lost about 5 or 6 pounds in 12 days just by reducing my sodium. Good luck with everything.

Thanks Michele. Yeah I am going to start tracking things and whatnot. Well, my husband and yours are somewhat alike! Mine has low testosterone as well. I know he does not look at other women and he does not watch porn (big no no in my eyes, I think it is cheating) and we are very involved with church and it is just not an option in our religion (unless abuse or something bad, you know). It just hurts my feelings that weight can play such an issue!! This world is so veign! I mean, back in the old days you were rich if you were fat! hahaha! Can you PM me some ideas for low carb snacks that are easy and low in calories? Something I can put together fast seeing as I have no time for anything!!!

I will check out WalMart for those and order some for sure!

Hang in there suga. Things will get better. You have your hands full with both girls. it sounds like they are sleeping better and so hopefully that will contunie and you can get some more rest and progress towards your goals. Its hard and men dont get and I agree they can make it worse. If you feel pressured and stressed it will make the battle that much harder. Slow and steady.

Hi everybody,

I took Katie to the doctor yesterday because she hadn't been eating as much the last few days and she is congested (gotta love daycare), so I just wanted to get her checked out.

On Feb 13th she weighed 11 lbs 3 oz and was 23 1/4" long. Since we are with her everyday, we don't see the growth as much, but my in-laws were in Floriday for two months and they saw her Sunday and said how much she had grown. I was like, "really, do you think so".

Well, yesterday she weighed 13 lbs 9 oz and was 24 3/4" long. I guess she is getting enough food. The doctor said she is congested nasally, but other than that she looks great.

She is so funny, because if we laugh at her, she will start laughing back, and it is the cutest thing. The other day, she spit out her pacifier, and I tried to give it back to her twice, but she wouldn't take it. Than I watched her figure out how to use her wrist, arms and shoulder to get it back in. (Remember, she is a couple months younger than most of your amazing babies, so she is not using her hands much yet). I guess she is going to be an independent little cus.

Michele,

That is an adorable picture. She is just beautiful. I haven't found a St. Patrick's outfit for Katie yet, and I need to get one today to take a picture. It was one year ago today that I had my transfer of four embryos that produced my precious little baby. St. Patricks Day will always have special meaning to us and we aren't even Irish.
