 Babymex: I'm so glad your back, we missed you terribly, but understand you needing some time to sort things out. I'm so sorry to hear about the ectopic  I'm glad it was the tube with no ovary though, that is such a relief to hear. I thought of you often since our betas are so close together. I go for my first beta tomorrow and I already know I won't sleep much tonight. In fact I haven't slept much the last couple of nights. I've talked myself into keeping the hope that the beta will still be positive even with my negative HPT. I read a lot of stories about the same thing happening to others, like Michelle, and it gave me hope.
I guess tomorrow we'll know. RE gave me option to come to office (30 min away) or go to labcorp, so they are closer, open at 7:30 am, and doc said he'll get results faster that way too since he orders them stat. I'm sure I'll be hanging by the phone all day waiting for him to call.
Until I get my beta, I am determined to remind myself I am PUPO :D
Have a great night ladies and I'll post tomorrow either way, good or bad

Hey CT_Michele

I m just back after seeing my RE today.I am currently on lupride and am going to start gonal f from 20th march till 25th. Need to go and see the doc so he can tell me how many follicles i have. on IVF #1 re managed to fertilise 2 follicles which he said were Grade 1 but it still came BFN :( He has doubled my dose this time saying that we should get more number of follicles. I have also asked if we cud do a blastocyst transfer and he said that if he get good number of follies then we can opt for a blastocyst. Lets see how many follicles i get this time. Last time there were just 4 follicles out of which 2 fertilised. Keeping my finger crossed. RE has given me Gonal F 300(pen) sub cutaneous along with that have asked to take Menogon 150 intra muscular and still keeping lupride 15 units daily  do u all follow the same protocol there.

Babymex, so happy to see you again, I am sorry about your ectopic.......
I just want to say tho how amazing you are, you are an inspiration to us all, you have come through a cycle with a BFP which sadly bcame an ectopic and you are so positive and full of hope and able to support the rest of us that are still going through it, I listened to your song and if I am lucky enough to have a child in the end I will play them that song and tell them it is from my friend from overseas!!!
Thankyou Babymex :)

Mel thinking of you lots and lots!!!

Carolyn YES YES YES THIS CYCLE WILL WORK!!!!! How long have you been on the waiting list in the UK for a donor?? How was the accupuncture this mornng? I think we are off to Spain maybe in April for a week, DH parents live there so we have a ready made holiday without all the planning!!

Lionoe thinking of you too, hope all goes well.

Sisi Sisi Sisi what is going on trigger yes, trigger no, trigger yes, it must be driving you nuts all the anticipation!!! BUT look at all those follies bursting feeling in the belly is good!!! You know its working, so when are you back again?? As Carolyn says the usual for stiming is between 10 and 12 days or so, so you may have a few more yet, just think your belly is getting ready for that preggers feeling!!!!

Hazel glad my dancers did the trick for you!!! I also got headaches on the synarel, right on the top of my head they were there pretty much the whole time I was sniffing, but they did subside after a couple of weeks and were then more of a nuisance than any real pain. Hot flushes, arnt they just the best!!!! Not doing too badly with my 2ww, feeling a bit down in the dumps today, half way through so I think I am just getting nervous because test day is closer now, and now I know my embryos did not survive I am on my very last try of this and I can't imaging my life without children, and yes I know my house is always full of them because of the fostering we do, its not the same as having your own child..........
Still keep up the PMA but sometimes it is so bloody hard!!!!!!! Hazel do you have a beta test to check if you are pregnant or do they give you a POAS test??

aspotofTea I love your username!!! Wow what a journey so sometimes it definately pays to do the old HPT, congratulations with your BFP............

aims congratulations on your follie count!! Take it easy and rest up ready for your transfer. :)

Tabatha not long to go you are almost there, will be thinking of you tommorrow.......

babyluv some of us have different protocols some of us are the same and others of us seem to be a mixture, there is no right or wrong way, usually the clinic will have a standard protocol for each cycle whether you are doing a full IVF or a FET and so on, then if you get a BFN they sometimes change things around, its all a guessing game really to begin with as we all respond differently to the meds, sometimes they will also change things around in the cycle depending on what blood test and scans show too, if you are unsure about anything just ask the nurses or your doc and they will tell you why they are doing things the way they are. Good luck :)

Hi to everyone else.................
See you later

aims that is great news!! You are well on your way :) Sorry it hurts when DH makes you laugh, but at least he has you smiling :) He sounds like my DH.

babymex so sorry to hear about your EP. But wow, you are so positive! And I 2nd what Sara said...you are an inspiration to us all :D

babyluv as Sara mentioned it seems we all have VERY different protocols. I'm currently on Lupron 5 units (down from 10) and Gonal-f 225. Tabatha, funny, I've been calculating over and over in my head whether I'm going to have to order more meds. I'll wait and see if they drop my dosage at all first. I can get my meds shipped overnight. Can you?

Melanie good luck tomorrow! I just know you're going to get that BFP :D

aspotoftea that is crazy what happened! OMG! You are a good woman to point that out to them and question their results. Good for you!! I'm so glad it worked out for you in the end. I'll definitely know to question them if a similiar situation happens to me.

AFM, I'm still stimming away! I had my u/s and b/w this morning with no real news to share. She measured some of my follies and said only one in the left ovary was a little above the 10 mm threshold, whatever that means. She said the others were borderline but assured me this was normal for day 5 of stimming. She said she knows I'll have plenty by Friday at my next ultrasound. Still no confirmed ER date. Hopefully I'll get that this Friday. Oh, for anyone experiencing nights sweats, a coworker gave me a tip. Believe it or not she said to put on more layers! Like a full pajama set. Normally I'm doing the opposite thinking I'll stay cool. Well since I've slept with more clothes on I haven't waken up once from sweating! :D Well that's all from me today. Take care ladies!

well it looks like I have some catching up to do!

cymplicity- I bet you will have more news at your next u/s. It is amazing what difference a couple of days came make in the follie growth department.

aims- great fert report! 9 fertilized is awesome, when is ET?

tabatha- that stinks to have to order a whole refill if you are short just one day. Maybe RE has a sample or donated leftovers laying around? Your getting awfully close to trigger...must be exciting!

melanie- I am praying hard for you today, I really do hope your hpt was wrong and you get your bfp.

babymex- I am so sorry to hear about the ectopic, but I am glad to see you are keeping you attitide positive and looking forward to an fet in the summer. I am also glad to hear that is was in your right where it didn't affect your left ovary.

aspotoftea- I can not believe your story. I have been on these boards a while now and never came across that situation, but it makes me wonder how many times it has happened and people just didn't know, stopped meds and got a period which was actually a miscarriage. Very scary thought that the lab could be wrong on that...gives me even more reason to go hpt crazy (even though I really didn't need one and would have anyway). So congrats on your bfp!

hjw- so glad the cottage was fun, good way to de-stress at a very stressful time. That was quite an impressive cathc up post you did, almost hitting everyone too. Keep up the good sniffing!

sisi- trigger yet?? You must be about to burst, but don't worry, you won't. I hope trigger is soon...

dys- did af come yet??

sara- how is the 2ww going? Are you keeping yoruself occupied?

Ok, so I know I missed a bunch of you, but my topic review doesn't go back far enough for me to see our tracker, so I will have to catch you another time. I am going to update our list and post it.

Talk to you all soon!

 Hey Ladies, Got a call today about my beta it is a BFN :(
I'm OK with it though, the BFN on the HPT kinda prepared me for it a little bit. To all you ladies, I still don't advocate doing them before your beta. It was an emotional roller coaster worst than not having done it. The negative just had me think more about every single symptom, and trying to pretend or pray that the beta would still be positive. I think with "aspotofteas" story, what you should do is not do an hpt at all before beta, but if you get a BFN, then maybe do a hpt at home before stopping all meds.
I actually feel relieved to know one way or the other. The guessing game is the worst. Now I know I will get AF. Also now I can lift things again, yeah! Maybe I'll vacuum today in protest :D
The great news is, and what's getting me through this is that RE says I can do an FET right away this cycle. I had really wanted to deliver before years end to get the most bang for my buck from the insurance end of things. Sounds selfish, but my high deductible is met now, and it would be great to have the hospital fee be mostly paid for.
With that said, he was more than willing to let me try again, he said it wasn't a problem at all. I will stop my prog. gel and hope to get AF asap. I have an appt with him on Monday, and if my ovaries look ok, we'llget on with preparing my body for the FET.
The one thing I did ask him to do differently is put me on more progesterone, because this cycle I was cramping a lot. I feel like my uterus needs to be more calm than it was this time. I really did over do it also. I would be cleaning and doing to much, then I'd get really crampy. I also had that GI thing and diarrhea for like 3-4 days after transfer, which can irritate your uterus also. We'll never know what happened or went wrong. I already told DH that next time, he's going to hate me because I'm not going to do a damn thing but lay around...with my legs in the air... HaHa
Goodness I lost my point- anyway, RE said "I know you don't want to hear this....but I think you really need to be on POI instead of the Crinone." Bummer :!: I guess if that's what's going to keep my uterus calm then I'll do whatever this time. I also didn't take it as easy as I should have, and I'm not blaming myself for this failing, but believe me, next time I will be a complete bum for the 2ww.
 Thanks again for everyone's support.
 Babymex, I forgot to thank you for the song yesterday, my mind was still preoccupied. It was really sweet of you to send it my way.
 Now I just need to do the AF dance again

Sisi- congrats on finally triggering! Does that mean ER will be friday morning? Have a nice stim-free day tomorrow.

melanie- I am so sorry to hear about your bfn, but I am glad that RE is letting you go again right away. From your signature it looks like you have some good quality frosties waiting for you. Make sure you let us know how your appt goes on Monday, and here is a little af dance for you

Ok, there is alot to catch up on so please if I miss you, I'm sorry. I was sick yesterday. Bad headaches. Now Im off BCP I feel tons better. My mom also asked if I have a baby if I could donate the cord blood to her since she has leukemia and her doctor is hopeful it might heal her. That would be lovely since she gave us $$ for this IVF.

Sisi, congrats on the triggering. Here's to good follicles.
Melanie, Im sorry about your BFN but hopefully the FET will go much better. PIO it is!

BabyMex, Im sorry about your loss. Your spirit is refreshing and I will remind myself of that when I get down about the whole IVF thing.

cymplicity, Stim away girl.

AIMS, 9 is a great number.
