Miracle so sorry you are having trouble sleeping, it is one of the most frustrating things in the world, lying there listening to DH sleeping and you are tossing and turning and getting angry because he is asleep!!! Does any of that sound familier? I occasionally have horrendous bouts of insomnia and have been known to be awake all night, my DH falls asleep as soon as his head hits the pillow it is sooooooooooo anoying!!!!! Have you tried all the things such as lavender oil? having a massage? nice warm bath? I know the sex word was mentioned!! :D how about some meditation or guided meditation, that really helped me at those times, perhaps youi need to come away on holiday with me want to get in my suitcase??? 8) 8)
So hows the studying going?? Glad to hear Jennifer is getting better all the time now she is in her own room.

Carolyn ooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh its getting closer and closer before you know it you will be PUPO!!!! :D am counting down the days till saturday, when do you go over?? I liked Miracles 'throw your scared feelings out the door' !!!! I will keep visualising that for you too!!!

Sophie baby boy is getting you prepared!!! Did you find a nice rental cottage?? So happy your friend has made it to full term!!!!

Well I have been getting my house in order, its soooooooo quiet in here I have to put the radio on when I am in on my own have got so used to listening to girly's music blaring!!! She wrote us each a most amazing letter, it really made me cry, it was so touching. Then next morning we went and cleared out her bedroom and I nearly cried again!!! How can one 15yr old make such chaos in one small room in 6 months!!! So we repainted it to make it fresher and today I have scrubbed the carpet so will see what it looks like tommorrow!!!

I am free till June Waahhaaayyyyy shall I make you jealous then????????
Me and DH are going to Spain sometime in May for a week or so, we have a family house over there we all kind of share, I am having 10 days in London with my mum, we have been saving for 2 years to go there so now we are going and I am having a girly holiday in Spain too with a couple of my close girlfriends so May will be one long holiday!!!! Also visiting my Grandma over Easter and going to see some friends next week, have a trip to scotland to see another friend and off to a ball so have to get my wedding dress sorted out as I am going to wear it, do you think thats enough to do over the next couple of months????

Then after all that I will be bored of holidaying and will be very ready to have some children move in again!!!

Hi Angel, Angie are you both having to be workaholics at the moment?? Hope its not too hard on you both.......

Take Care

Hi guys!

Looks like it's Carolyn and Miracle today! :D I hope everyone else had a great weekend!

Carolyn,
I read your comment to my friend about the brazilian, and we laughed, we laughed! You crack me up girlie! Whoa, things are really moving on your side, this is exciting! But gosh, I understand how scary it can be too... you just lose that first timer innocence after the first IVF, and there's always mixed feelings when you try again. Sweetie, I'm keeping everything crossed for you, and rooting for those nice big juicy follies so they make you a momma! :D *hugs* hang in there babe, and I hope those side effects are not so bad now... Great to hear that you had a nice weekend! ;) How is DH? Oh, and please tell Beck I said hi and I think of her. I prefer to stay away from her right now, as I realise it might make her sad or something like that, and I don't want to hurt her feelings.

Miracle,
Hi there girlie! How are you doing? How was your weekend? Nah, not saying you're depressed! It's just that every person has their own style when they cope with events in their lives. I've seen the way you tend to
react, and it suggests that you're the type who worries a lot, ruminates, makes scenarios, thinks about all the "what if" and so on. It doesn't mean that it's a pathological problem, but there are different ways to cope with stressful events, ways that don't tax your energies and affect your sleep, your appetite, and so on. Meds and sex can help (), but other coping tools might make you feel better for the rest of your life, when new stressors happen.

Angel, Angie, Lee, thinking of you and missing your posts! :D

***warning, pregnancy news***
Well, I saw the doctor this morning and the news is surprising, and good! Things definitely moved... the baby has dropped considerably, and is now very low in my pelvis. The doctor is very happy about that; she said that I might have suffered a lot during 5 years to get pregnant, but at least things definitely look like I'll have an easy delivery. She also examined me and, shock... I'm 1 cm dilated and 50% thinned out! Nothing to cause panic, but enough to kick me into making my bag for the hospital, writing that birth plan... and the doc agrees with me that my bet on 38 weeks is right on! Guys, it's three weeks away!!!  :D It really seems like I won't deliver past my due date at all. It's great to have the baby lower, my appetite is back, but sheesh, I got up five times to pee last night! I hope it won't be like that every night!! ;) The little bugger is in perfect shape as usual, doing the pop corn dance much lower now indeed...
***warning over***

Okay, gotta go, DH turned the lights off and he'll be alseep in a minute... I have to join him right now if I don't want to wake him. Take care guys, and I'll see you around!

Wishful - hope your lining is growing nicely. Don't worry about work and stuff. It'll still be there waiting for you when you get back. Are you getting excited now? You'll soon be PUPO!!! :D

No, haven't booked the spa yet. I just haven't found time to search for anything yet. Work is kicking off big time. I know I shouldn't be complaining when a lot pf people are being made to work reduced hours or redundant  . But its really taking its toll on me you know. Can you believe that I haven't watched any telly since 3 weeks now??

Sara - good on you for taking out some time for yourself. It will be wonderful, and spring/ summer is the best time to do it. I think you still have some space in there for some treats like massages, pedi, mani....etc  Enjoy every minute and unwind. ITs amazing how much of a difference a good break can make in our perspectives to life.

Miracle - so sorry to hear about your sleepless nights. I can't give you any advise though as I'm one of those people who sleep through the night most of the night. When I do have a few ocaasions of sleepless nights, even one night with lack of sleep turns me into  So I can only sympathise. I have heard though that some meditation CDs do help by soothing you.

Sophie, Angie.....hello. Sorry gotta rush now.

Morning ladies!

Wow, the spring rush is really hitting hard! The thread has been really quiet lately!

LEE!
Sorry, our posts crossed last Sunday... wow, the house must be so quiet indeed, you're used to more action going on! But I'm sure at the same time it's a nice break, a time to just settle down and give yourself lots of ME time. It really seems like you had quite a positive impact on your girlie! Good for you sweetie, I'm so glad she wrote you that letter! It's a keeper! But wow.. repainting the room? How did she manage to make that much mess..??? Oh dear, you make me REALLY jealous indeed! Spain? Oooooh those are nice plans, I'm so happy to see that you're expecting lots of fun times with your friends and loved ones! Oh, I'll go to Spain too one day... buy lots of flamenco shoes... ;) attend a few classes too! ;) Please, promise that you'll manage to go to a cafe and see a good dancer! And send me a little thought while you watch! ;) Lucky girl! And a ball! In your wedding dress? Ooooh that's romantic! Please please tell us all about it when you can!!!!!

Carolyn,
Wow, you must be on pins and needles! It must be quite something to do part of your cycle in one country, and part in another... lots of planning to do!!! wow! How is your lining usually, I hope it does not cause you to worry? I can't wait to see your PUPO status! Hope you'll whip up a nice colorful little ticker! :D

Angel,
Oh my sweet, it's so great to hear from you, but I'm a bit worried now... it really sounds like you're buried under piles and piles of work! Poor thing! Do you see some light at the end of the tunnel at least? Sending you good vibes hun!

Angie, Miracle, any news? Thinking of you sweetie!

As for me, not much to report. I finally managed to find nice cottages that are affordable, available and accept dogs without crazy rules. So I rented us a nice cottage 5 hours away from Montreal in a nice region called Saguenay Lac-Saint-Jean. It's up north and the nature there is beautiful! And they have the reputation to have blueberries so huge that you can make a pie with just one! ;) We'll be there from August 23rd to 30th, and we'll visit my family in Quebec on the way back. We'll take everybody with us: the cat, the dogs, the wee one. Last year we spent 5 days in a nice cottage in the middle of the woods in another region and brought all the animals with us and believe me... it was TOTAL relaxation for everybody. I just LOVE to let the dogs loose in the woods and take long walks with them, leash-free! That cottage is next to a lake and we have our own private beach. Nothing fancy at all, but it will be paradise for us.

And then the following weekend, for Labor Day, we rented another cottage with my friend Anne. This time it will be 4 dogs, 2 babies, Anne, DH and me! Her husband won't come because 4 dogs is too much for his nerves. The cottage is 1:30 away from Montreal and next to a lake too. It's very pretty, all equipped, with 3 kayaks, a canoe, and so on. We'll invite all our friends for a BBQ on the Saturday or Sunday so we can enjoy one last party before fall. It's really far away from now, but we always prefer to book our summer holidays at the end of summer rather than at the beginning. Less mosquitoes, less heat, plus it gives you something to look forward to during all summer!

Other than that, I'm trying to book one last renovation rush for the next two weeks. If we can fix that staircase (walls and ceiling) before D-day, it would be absolutely awesome.

Okay, gotta take a shower! Take care ladies, and I'll see you around!

Love,

Sophie xxox

Hi Ladies. How are my favorite friends doing?

Boy, it sure is quiet on the boards lately. Everyone must be working entirely too hard. :x

Wishfull: How was the gym? Did you get a nice workout? Any spa days coming up for you?

Angel: I am so sorry hon, that your are working so much. I really hope it slows down a bit for you. That is no way to live.

Angie: thinking of ya...

Becky: Missing you....sending you hugs love!

Lee: Man, I am jealous too. Your next month or so sound fabulous!!! You so deserve it. I hope you enjoy every second of it. How are you doing?

Sophie: Hiya lady! Boy, your baby boy will be here before you know it. How exciting...are you nervouse about labor or anything?

My friend Jennifer, well remember how I said she was doing great? Well, she has had a slight set back. She is in a lot of pain. Whenever she moves she is in terrible pain in her back. The drs dont know what is causing it and her heart is not working correctly. So they have moved her back to ICU. I am kind of bummed about this minor set back, but I am glad she is getting the care she needs. In ICU they will monitor her much more closely and they are able to give her pain meds that will help. So, if you guys can continue your prayers for her, I would greatly appreciate it.

Ok ladies...talk to you all soon.

HI girls,

A quickie for me!

Miracle,
Geez, sorry about your friend taking a few steps backward. Sometimes it's one of the most difficult things to adapt to when you have prolonged hospitalizations... taking a few steps forward, and then taking a couple of steps backwards... and forward again. I just hope they're able to relieve her pain adequately. She'll get out sooner or later, she'll get better, and never lose the whole perspective of how she constantly keeps improving week after week. About the labor, well... given all the scar tissue inside from all the surgeries, I expect contractions to be particularly painful, but I'll just ask for an epidural when I can't take it anymore and I'm sure I'll be okay. I don't know that pain, but I know pelvic pain very well, so I'm at peace with that and it helps keep a serene state of mind. There's no use in thinking about all the things that might happen, or to make scenarios, so I just don't think about it. I'll deal with things when they happen.

Lee,
Hi sweetie! Nice to have you around! :D

Carolyn,
Thinking of you for your scan tomorrow sweetheart! Keeping everything crossed! I'm sure you're preparing a niiiiice and comfy little nest for those embies! :D

As for me, nothing extraordinary to report. Been taking it easy... some cleaning, some napping, which is unusual for me! The workers did a great job with the gyproc in the staircase; they're almost done screwing it on! Which is great, because it means the job will be done faster than expected. I hope tomorrow they'll do the first layer of plastering already. It would really be great.

Okay girls, take care!
