Malya -- welcome to the 2 week wait! Congrats on making it this far! So now you are PUPO (pregnant until proven otherwise)! That is great that you have frosties. They say that when embies make it to frosties, there is an increased chance of the ivf working -- so good for you! I think it is great that your clinic is keeping a close eye on you during this time and the extra appointments will make the time go faster, I hope! Sending you lots of baby dust and looking forward to hearing again from you. Stay positive!

Mel - how is your cycle going? You must be getting close. Thinking of you.

sweetmomi - in case you are still reading, congratulations on your BFP! Wishing you all the best.

siouxsie - so nice to see you again here. I have been thinking about you and hope all is going well!! At our last scan on Tuesday, everything looked good. Thanks for asking. Although I have been reading, I have not made the jump over to the pregnant after tmt board, just waiting a little bit longer. I am now 9+3.

Take good care and have a nice weekend,
xx summer

Glad everything is going well for you. I can definitely relate about your hesitation to move over to pregnant board. I am still so nervous.

I am so happy for you. You’re on the way to the first of your three!

You’ll have to give us the info about the documentary when you know the name etc. I’ll watch for it when it comes out. I did rent a Frontline on “test tube babies.” Needless to say, it was very dated.

malya - how was your test on Saturday? Hope all is well. Good luck with your appt on Tuesday! How are you doing? Sending you more baby dust!

siouxsie - do hope in the coming weeks after you pass your 14 week mark, you can really relax and enjoy your pregnancy and come to believe that your dream will come true. So far, everything is looking so good and so positive for you. Got my fingers crossed and am thinking of you.

Mel - any news from you? How are things going?

Beta test tomorrow. Over thinking all my symptoms. Using all my will power to not go and buy a HPT. They reduced my progesterone shot to 1cc added 2 prometrium tablets 4 times a day. I have estrogen tablets vaginaly twice a day, the estrogen patches, two every three days and the progesterone gel vaginally twice a day. My breast are not as tender as they were last week, I have some cramping, night time nausea and am very warm. I could go on and on about what that means but I'll just keep my hyperanalysing to myself. I Hope to post tomorrow if I have time before the sabbath.

ok I broke down and bought a HPT.... its positive. I had a frozen cycle so I don't think it can be rigged by an HCG shot. Anyone? Not getting my hopes to high yet, but I can't see how it would come out positive without something happening. Someone please, pop my bubble.

Malya,

With a FET and only 1 day ‘til beta, I’d say you hit the lotto, kiddo. I’ll be thinking of you tomorrow and hoping the sun’s still shining on you.

malya - congratulations! Sounds like a positive to me! Very happy for you and looking forward to hearing how your beta went!!

siouxsie
- how are you doing? I saw your other post about DH and thought I would let you know that there is some "week by week information for new dads" on the "what to expect" website. My DH has been reading it, along with the weekly newsletter they offer to send via email about what is going on and likes being a part of things in that way and feels more informed and more relaxed.

Take care girls and have a great weekend,
xx summer

Hooray!

Thanks for checking. I'm doing well. I almost believe we'll make it. Had an u/s yesterday and everything looked good and the nuchal fold measurement was fine. Next week we'll be through the first trimester, which will be a relief. My next OB appt isn't until 5/7 so I'll be practicing patience. I have one final blood test at RE 4/11 then I'll wave goodbye to them.

We're moving in the next two weeks, so that's been a big distraction -- I'm trying not to let it stress me.

Hope you're doing well and almost ready to brave the move to the board of optimists.

malya -- CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

siouxsie - everything sounds like it is going textbook well for you and I am so happy. I am sure every week that goes by is a week closer to being able to relax a bit and enjoy your pregnancy. Glad that your NT test went so well. Must have been a great relief and a great feeling of progress.

We have our next appt on Thursday and if all goes well, then I'll make the big jump -- So, look out for me :D

Sorry to report we misscarried last monday. Beta went from 4700 to 600 in two day, threw large clots and lots of bleeding, but only lasted for one day. Now there is just spotting. Apointment with RE on this Thursday, we'll see what he says.

Weird thing is the night before I woke up bleeding I had three very distictive dreams, one about orgasming that was very painful, one about boiling a baby in a pot and one where my father told me that I was going to misscarry if I ate certain foods, and then lo and behold it happened. I haven't had any dreams before of since.

Sorry to be such a downer but I have no idea what happened.

Mayla,

I am so sorry to hear your news. I wish I knew words to take your pain away.

The dreams are a strange thing – I suppose it shows that your subconsiocus mind knows some secrets.

Be sure to treat yourself well and gently, and take time to grief. I hope someday, this will all be a distant memory and you’ll have found a happy path for yourself and your family – perhaps with your three frosties if the time is right.
