Hi girls, do u mind if i join, whilst i await tmt.
Been out of trying since 07, and now we have 1st consultation on 30th April. Trying to be all matter a fact about it, and trying not to get too bogged down by it all, so will spend say 1 hr a night on IVF stuff instead of all night!!!!
LOL!!!
I am older and wiser now, and i am approaching this frm a different angle.
Looking fwd to meeting and chatting with you all.

Yes, we have!!! My DH and I have been hoping to start this summer. Nothing is set in stone, as I do not want to be disappointed. Do to the economy we have had to postpone several times...URGH...I hate it. But hopefully, we can start this summer or early fall!!! We are so ready to start trying...

How are you? I saw that you have had several tmts. I am sorry about the outcome. I am so hoping this is your year as well!!! BFP'S here we come!!!

Totally agree, BFP here we come.....?YEs, Ive had several IUI's and 1 horrid IVF.... put that behind me, and now im ready to try again, with a fresh approach....

Nicola, WELCOME!!!

Yes, we're all at various stages with our IF journey. I can see you've been through a long journey yourself. We do try to support each other as much as we can. Like Mir said its been a bit quiet because most of us seem to be busy with one thing or another.

The waiting part is the hardest, isn't it? The uncertainty of it all makes everything much worse.

Angie, I know the feeling of work taking up all your energy. Unlike you, my paycheck doesn't read any different at all

. Why can the pay be directly proportional to the work put in? Here everyone is under pressure to cut costs, which means no pay rise (although no one has officially said that).

Thinking of you and sending tons of positive vibes your way!!! I can't wait to have an update!

As for me, nothing too exciting to report. I have an apt with a colleague at 11am; a psychologist who is an expert at medical hypnosis. I want to get some training at self-hypnosis to add one more coping tool for the event to come. We'll see how it goes. Other than that, we've been having dreadful weather. It's grey, there's always an annoying rain, it's cold... I think I'll have myself a little fire in the fireplace this afternoon and curl up in the sofa with a cross-stitch project for my friend. I'm sure the dogs will like it too!

For now, I'm just struggling with paperwork for my leave; I need DH's social security number and he isn't answering his phone at work.

Oh and by the way, my friend still hasn't delivered her baby, can you believe that? Her doc is now talking about inducing her; she's 39 weeks now. Like Carolyn said, she'll definitely need another brazilian!

Okay, time to work on that cookbook! Take care lovelies,
