Miracle, I'm so sorry you are feeling stressed. Sophie has some good advice for you though.

Unfortunately, I'm not the best person to give you any tips as I too suffer from that myself. Sometimes I get so overwhelmed with everything but try to keep going on until I reach a meltdown point. I'll break down, have a burst of anger and cry loads. I have realised though that sometimes we have to say no to others and make some "ME" time.

My DH says that I make things worse for myself sometimes by thinking that I HAVE to do everything. So he'll tell me, if you had so many things to do, did you have to clean today, or did you have to go grocery shopping today or what difference does it make if the laundry gets done 2 days late? I am assuming that you're like me. In which case people around us are right - we don't have to do everything and its ok to sometimes just say no - whether its to others or even to yourself sometimes. Maybe we can help each other out and remind ourselves of this

I hope you manage to find a little time for yourself to relax and unwind. Have a great weekend sweetie :D

Sara,

Wow - you have actually started taking some action on a business idea? Do you know how many times I hear people talk about these wonderful ideas they have but its all talk sometimes. So I really admire someone who makes a start on achieving it. Like you say there is loads of work to be done and like any business idea, it may or may not work. Oh, and do let us know if you go on Dragon's Den. :D I'll be screaming at the dragons through my TV to give you the money! And you'll be even more famous. Oooooo I love the idea of having a celebrity friend :D

And fab news on getting your adoption papers. As you have been fostering, hopefully the process will be a breeze for you. The fact that you are a foster parent means you must have passed some type of assessment - does that count towards adoption? Keep us informed about that.

Hope you're enjoying your holidays in this glorious weather.

Sophie, wow the business and work opportunities sound great!!! Isn't it lovely when we get presented with any types of opportunity? And I'm sure you'll grab it and make the most out of it.

For now though, bet you can't wait to see your little boy.

Hi Sophie! Thanks for the tips. I really need to teach myself to relax...I am a total spaz. Sometimes it drives DH nuts. I cant sit down to watch TV, I am up and running around cleaning or doing something. I drive myself crazy. You made some great points...our friendship wont be destroyed if I dont go, you are right. She will be disappointed, but that is life. I always feel guilty with stuff like that.

WOW...sounds like you and your friend have quite the plans! I hope it works out fabulous for you two. I am sorry you are having a tough time sleeping at night. I know how that is...it sucks. I hope it eases up a little for you. I am so happy to hear how great the doggies are doing. Mine will not even touch the tread mill....scaredy cats!!!! The love it though, when I take them for walks. They are my little explorers!! : )
