Parker is soo laid back goes to anyone. He takes two 1 1/'2-2 hour naps and goes to sleep by 715-730 most nights and sleeps till 7-730 am. this is great and all but I have a feeling I wont be so lucky with my next one. I have a feeling my next one (or two) will be my wakeup call
CT sounds great so far. And Mellie things are moving along!! Baby dust to everyone! I am not sure how I will take the FET I think I will be more laid back b/c next time b/c I sorta know what to expect. I will make an appointment for a consult in the next month or so. I think I want to get preggo in August so that I have the baby(s) this time next year before the really hot weather sets in. But we are still discussing it and we are not sure if we want to do one or two embies.
Well it sounds like everyone is doing great and feeling better. summer is around the corner should be fun!!

Evie and I participated in a research study this afternoon. It was fun. She is such a chill baby. Have any of you done any studies? It was fun for me b/c I'm a developmental psychologist so one of the tests they gave to Evie was a test that I've given to babies before. I have no idea how she did, though. I can't remember the details of the test.
My MIL is visiting from Switzerland. Nice lady but LOTS of energy. The first day she watched Evie I came home and Evie was exhausted. I think she wears us both out! Evie is more laid back like me.
Good that everyone is getting over being sick! Gosh, I would hate bringing the girls to a day care. I hate it when parents bring their sick kids there knowing that they will get everyone else sick.
Kbear: That is how mine started! Then they were sitting up on their own in no time! YAY!
Anywhoo, nothing new to report really. Brooke is getting over being totally scared in the shower. I washed with her today again and she did not scream the whole time. It was funny because at first I brought her in there when Nick was in there (Kenzie was napping by the way, Brooke woke up early) and he almost flipped. He does not like them seeing him naked. I tell him they are too young to see anything or know what it is!
Kenzie is refusing to eat solids at the moment. I do not know if it hurts her to swallow or it is the teething. I gave her some cold applesauce and she ate that...so I am thinking teething since she likes stuff cold.
I can't wait to hear thenews of BFPs! You girls are so brave giving it a go so soon!
Suga- thanks for the tip on saying goodbye at daycare, I am sure it will be harder on me than on him! Funny about DH and the girls seeing him naked!!!
Katie- Parker sounds like the perfect chill baby!
Gecko - it must be hard without DH there. What a good sleeper! Glad he is feeling better
kbear - I hope Katie is feeling better from the cough and aliens coming out of her nose! How cute that she is starting to want to sit down.
Baby boy is sitting on his own for a good stretch of time, tries to balance and even sits while holding on to something with both hands. He loves standing up but still can't hold himself. Hates tummy time so I don't know about crawling! He is having major stranger anxiety now and is going through a mommy phase. Poor DH sits with him and plays with him and he screams until I pick him up. Poor DH went through 40 min of it, very patient. I don't know what to do because I can't be mommy taxi carrying him all around the house and get nothing done. plus my heart breaks for DH who is an amazing dad. Anyone else experiencing this?

Just wanted to keep you all updated. Out of my 12 eggs, 10 were viable, out of 10, 6 fertilised. When I talked to them this morning, one was a 4 cell and the other 5 were 2 cell, so they were all still dividing. The tech said between 2-4 cells is what they look for at this stage, and she said they are all A or B grade, so it looks good. ET is at 11am tomorrow. And next week I will become the crazy hpt lady (I prepared this time and ordered in bulk online!)
rio- ella is in a major mommy stage right now too. I know it is just because she spends all her time with me, but I know it is frustrating for dh. He joked today and said he hope the next baby likes him better. He knows ella loves him, she just gets in moods where only mommy will do. I can't believe your boy is able to sit up so well, ella still falls over without assistance.
mellie- I was thinking about doing a study, we live close to Yale and they send us stuff all the time. DH and I both have psychology degrees so we are both fascinated by that stuff. I just never remember to call.
gecko- I am so glad everyone is done being sick, I can not imagine having sick husband and child for 2 months! So how did he like the cottage cheese? I am so afraid to give ella anything but "baby stuff." The only thing I have let her try so far is tiny bits of banana when I have one...I know I am way overprotective with that, but I will ease up soon.
katie- I feel the same way, Ella is so well behaved and sleeps well at night (not so much for naps), but I have a feeling the next one won't be so easy going...oh well, won't know until I try! I can only pray the next one or two will be as good as she is!
kbear- that is awesome that katie is sitting up well too. And nice that she is playing alot. Does she have any favorite toys? Ella loves this white bunny in a purple rainjacket I got her for easter, and of course almost anything colorful or that lights up.
Ok, off to watch some tv, and do some house stuff so I can really rest this weekend and let my embies snuggle in! Thank you all for the baby dust!

The strangest thing has been happening this week. My good little sleeper has started crying in her sleep. She'll let out a yell and kind of cry like she's mad and so I run to get her and I hold her but she doesn't wake up. And she settles very easily but starts to cry again if I put her back in her crib. And still she doesn't wake up. Has anyone else experienced this? Any thoughts on what it could be?
Mellie- It's today! (Friday) 11am US Eastern Time! In just a little while I will officially be PUPO again and in my dreaded 2ww!

Hey girls I posted a new thread under general forum that I found a site that will send an email or fax to your representative to try and get insurance coverage for IVF - please check it out and support it, it only takes a couple of minutes to do it.
CT - fingers crossed - you are PUPO how exciting!!!
Mellie- my little one breastfeeds while sleeping and dreams and lets out little screams at night too!
Oh - my little boy learned his name! He can be ditracted and I say other things and he won't look, the minute I say his name, bang he looks! So cool!!! He is now trying to climb out of his baby bathtub, he held on the ledge and actually got his little butt off the bottom and up about 4 inches!!!
He is also trying to pet the dogs now everytime they come near. I am loving being a mommy!!!! Even sleep-deprived!!!

Mellie----two weeks ago Parker started crying alot in his sleep and waking up very upset. He would go back to sleep on me and the second I layed him down upset. I thought it was his teeth. But when I went for his 6 month check in he had fluid in his ear. Not a full blown ear infection but getting there. We waited two days to fill the prescription (doc told us we could try and see if he shakes it off) Well we went ahead and filled it and now he is back to sleeping and feeling better. He didnt have a fever just a bit more fussy then normal and not sleeping. He was grabbing his ear but I didnt think anything of it b/c I thought he just found his ear. He feels much better now and im glad a filled the med. It could be teeth also. good luck!

Well, I am officially PUPO again! Transfer was this morning and we put back 2, both were 8 cells, one was grade A and one was grade B. Our other four made it too, so now we have 4 frosties too. I can not believe I am here in this position again, just waiting and wondering what is going on inside my belly! My beta test will be on Cinco de Mayo (May 5), so hopefully you can all have a celebratory magarita for me! Of course I will do many hpt's before then, so I will keep you all updated. Thank you for all the baby dust.
Now I need to go back to resting so these embies can snuggle in. Talk to you again soon.

CT_Michele - Hope you're relaxed and those little embies are snuggling in!
KatieG - I never thought of an ear problem. Hmmm...I'll have to watch for signs. Thanks!
Rio - That's so cool that he knows his name! I think Evie will know "Pumpkin" before she knows her name b/c I usually call her that!
If the weather allows it we're gonna go to the zoo tomorrow! It'll be so fun to watch Evie see all the animals!
Mellie: Kinda funny but we call Brooke "teeny" as in Brooke Teeny and she will respond to teeny before Brooke sometimes lol. So we have had to start to say Brooke more often. Kenzie responds to her name but Kenzie is her nickname so that is ok.
Michele: BABY DUST!! I am super excited for you!!!
Question, when do you start to do finger foods? I read Loopie's post and she is doing a few things. Are they grabbing the food themselves or are you putting it in their mouth? I need to put their highchairs together now that they can sit up so I can put some food in front of them so they can work on that. Maybe tomorrow? I dunno seems I just never have the time for anything.
So pancakes, potatoes, cereal puffs...what else?? Mackenzie is still not great about chewing but Brooke is. So I have to make Mackenzie's stuff extra small. No teeth here....but they are acting like they will come any time now. Who knows!
suga- everyday after Ella gets up from her nap, I have been setting her up in either her bumbo chair or her high chair for snack. I put in front of her a suction cupped gerber bowl with some puffs cereals and some gerber crunchies (they look kinda like cheetos). I also give her a sippy cup with water. Then I kinda back off, and as much as it kills me to see the mess, I let her do her own thing and try to figure it all out. I have been doing this for like a week, and she is getting better everyday. Gosh, her fingers get so messy, but she does really well with the snacks, especially the cruchies (they are in a can in the baby food aisle). Ella also has no teeth so she munches and it breaks down in her mouth.
I am pretty strict about other foods though, like real foods or foods not made specifically for babies. I think when I go to Ella's 9 month appt, the dr will give us the all clear for trying some stuff and then I might be more comfortable. He did tell us that she could try gnawing on italian bread and eating cheerios. I think pancakes might be a safe bet too, but I just don't feel comfortable yet.
loopie- way to go pulman for eating all those things at 6 months! Ella is 8 months today, and like I said, I am still nervous about giving her real food.
Thank you all again for the baby dust! I am feeling ok, just anxious I guess. I did my first hpt this morning, just like I did last cycle, and I was actually hoping to see a negative, so I would know trigger was out of my system...but it was a faint line, so I know trigger is still there since there is absolutely no way it could be anything else. With ella, on this day after ET, my hpt was negative so I knew trigger was gone, but no such luck yet. I will try again probably tomorrow night or tuesday morning. I have started to feel a tiny bit of stretching/pulling/cramping, but I know none of it means anything, so I just keep waiting.
Of course I will keep you all updated.
