CT - you are a POAS addict!! I got my fingers crossed! PUPO how fun!
the dreaded 2ww is a killer!
Suga- my pedi said no finger food until 9mos so I will hold off until then
Still no luck with bottles or sippy cup... I might end up having to go to daycare for an in between feeding since he won't take anything but the breast. He loves bananas, pears, hates any kind of veggies... how long did it take your babies to like veggies?

Rio- Ella liked jarred baby food veggies almost right away. A couple of them were weird textures for her and took a couple tries. Her favorites are peas and carrots, I think they are both a bit sweeter than other veggies.

CT - Best of luck to you! I am keeping my fingers crossed that you will get another miracle added to your family. Keep us posted.
Rio- Dek has liked everything I have given him except for the ground zuchinni but I think that was a texture thing. He eats cottage cheese if I make it into a paste, yogurt, all the veggies and fruits in the stage one foods and he LOVES the baby food turkey. Smells like dog food to me, but he likes it! I am going to try avocados next. I am not going to try finger food until after his 9 month wellness check because I am afraid of him choking. I just want to check to be sure it is ok. I bet once your little one starts daycare, he will be more willing to try foods. For some reason they like doing what all the others are doing.
I think he is getting teeth soon. He is cranky, drooling and chewing on everything. I wish they would just come in already.
Oh, and I finally scheduled a consult with our RE for the end of May and am "officially" on the calendar for an August FET!!!!!! Yippee!!!! I was told that I would have to do a lot of the preliminary testing all over again because pregnancy and the c-section changes the uterus so they have to do some bloodwork, the water u/s and the trial transfer all over again. I just hope they don't find anything wrong which would then necessitate a Hysterosalpingogram (sp) or a hysteroscopy (sp) again. It is just so weird to be on this rollercoster ride again. Now I have a HUGE reason to take off the 20lbs of baby weight I have been carrying around. Guess it's back to weight watchers. Wish me luck.
Hey Jomae - Where you been, girl?!?!
Hope all the mommas are off to a good start to their week. Take care!
gecko- I had to repeat both of those tests because they said they are only good for a year, and because your uterus does changeafter pregnancy so they have to check again anyway.

Gecko: Good luck with FET!!! Gosh, all you ladies doing it again so soon amazes me!!!
Rio: Mine like veggies. Sometimes when Mackenzie does not want to eat a veggie I do one bit fruit then veg then fruit then veg...it kinda tricks her. Also, mine are almost 9 months!! In just a few days they will be 9 months! Thus why I was asking about finger foods. Plus they are already eating little pieces of bread and trying to grab food from us....
Michele: You are the same way I am with POAS. LoL! Brings back memories!! Good luck!!!
Well I need to go and put their highchairs together. They are sitting up so well it is time to put them in there for meals now...
I will keep trying veggies and a bottle - oh the battles we face
Ouch mine has a very sharp bottom tooth and let me tell you the adventures in breastfeeding a baby with shapr teeth, I scream! He cried once cause I screamed so I am trying to teach him biting mommy is not OK! He is trying to hold on to things and lift himself up!!! Sitting much better now even without using his arms for support.
CT- oh I can't wait for your results!
Gecko - wow you are so lucky to have frosties! I think we are going for our fresh cycle in November or January, seems so far away... I was also told I had to do all tests again because of requirements yuck! Blood panel, everything!
Mellie - how are you?
Loopie - how is pulman?
Katie - how have you been?
Kbear - how is your adorable princess?
I went to OB and he said I developed a keloid scar on my c-sec and that's why it is still painfull and red

This is sad....as the kiddos get older, we post on the board less and less!!! Just so busy now-a-days eh!? I hope you are all well and your babies are all well. We are fast approaching the year birthday!!
I got some good tricks from the physical therapist....oh did I mention that my girls passed the test and do not need therapy!? YUP! And they did not have to adjust their age! WOOHOO! Anywhoo, she said to start getting them used to textures in their mouth before you really start to give them finger food. IE put a crushed up cheerio in their cheek area, or a banana, etc. Then let them start to work on making their tongue go over there to bring it out and gum it (or chew it for those of you with teeth, well your babies) so I am going to start to do that.
Well, I need to put together these highchairs. The girls are sitting up so well now that I think we will put them in there now because they are outgrowing the bumbo and bouncer. *sigh*
Rio, my little one is cutting teeth, too. She has two littles ones on bottom. I like to let her chew on my finger sometimes but now it's starting to hurt!
What are the rest of you doing for teething these days? I bought Evie a wooden ring at Whole Foods. I've also bought some teething stuff trying to avoid anything made in China. Have any of you tried any medicines? I don't like her to take medicine but we may have to resort to that.
My nanny keeps telling me about something called "Teething Relief" at Whole Foods that is all natural, but I couldn't find any. Anyone heard of that?
We are getting to the end of this cold, thank goodness. I hate seeing her so congested, and the cough just kills me. She smiles through the whole thing, however.
Last weekend, Katie decided if she was awake, she would be talking. We heard her jibber jabber all weekend. And on Monday when I picked her up from daycare, she was doing the raspberries spitting thing. It is so cute. She does this from when she first wakes up periodically throughout the day. She doesn't want her pacifier much when she is awake anymore, too much other stuff to do. She loves to sit in her Bumbo chair, and we put toys on the tray. She loves to throw them off and look at us like, where are my toys?
We took her to the DR that day because my daycare provider thought she was wheezing. The DR said the rasperries is a language development thing, and that makes sense since she has shifted into talking high gear. The DR said she was not wheezing, but the scale showed that she had lost 10 oz since four days earlier when they checked her chest last. That is what is frustrating about going to a bigger practice, because the measurements, weights etc all vary so much from room to room. They tried two scales and got same weight on both. I know she did not lose 10 oz, even thought she was eating a little less due to the cold. The DR said not to worry about the number, she looked fine and that is the important thing. Don't worry, right! I wish.
Since then she has picked up on her eating again, and I tried cereal with some applesauce in it for the first time two days ago. At first, she pushed out w/ her tongue like yuck. She had eaten cereal before, so she knew about the texture so this surprised me. I gave her a bottle, and after the bottle, she kept opening her mouth for the food. I guess she just wanted her bottle first.
It hit me yesterday that she is never going to crawl or roll over if we don't give her more tummy time. She hates being on her tummy and cries almost instantly. I guess we will have to put her on her belly for a few minutes, and a few more tomorrow and so on to build up her tolerance. From like two months ago, she was able to roll herself over onto her back when she was laying against my chest, but since she isn't on her tummy much, hasn't learned it on the floor. And I know she will crawl as soon as her arms build up a little, because her legs are really strong. I just have to do it and get her used to her tummy.
I can't believe how time is flying, you all are getting closer to 1 yr birthdays, and Katie will be 5 months on Monday.
I wish you all a great weekend, and I am saying prayers for Michele's BFP.

kbear - I heard of the razzing sounds but bean never did those, he is experimenting with shrieks and screams! Have you tried a tummy time mat? Ours hated tummy time until we got the mat and it has toys and things for them to look at which distrcts him enough to get some tummy time.
Yesterday we are sitting in the bathroom and he is in his oversized baby bathtub. Well to my surprise he turns to the side and grabs the sides of the little tub then he pulls himself almost completly up!!!! I grabbed him in disbelief that this not even 7 month old was capable of stepping out of this bath tub!!! My goodness.
Who has baby proofed their house yet? I guess we need to go at it quickly!

Oh ladies...this is going to be a long weekend for me!
I have been doing hpt's everyday and all negative so far (except for one early faint line that was definiitely still trigger). I know I am still way early, but as the weekend goes on, if I don;t see signs of a positive, I will probably start to get pretty depressed. If this cycle goes the same as last, I wouldn;t expect to even see a faint line until late monday morning, but I was hoping that my little bean/s would implant on time this time and with some high sensitivity hpt's I ordered online, that I would not be torturing myself until the last day....ugh
Atleast I have a ton to keep me busy, even though I don;t want to concentrate on any of it. Semester is almost over and I am way way behind on coursework, and I am throwing a bridal shower at my house in 2 weeks, there is so much to be done here before then, including finishing the play porch for ella. My house is a mess right now, my yard is a mess....and only so much time in the day. I know I will be able to focus more after my beta, unless it's bad news and I will need a couple days to recoup and gather my thoughts.
Rio- I have not baby proofed yet, but I know we need to start thinking about it. We had ella's little bf over the other day. He is 14 months and there was so much for him to get into, it was a real wakeup call for us.
kbear- ella does raspberries all the time. She started atleast a couple months ago. I definitely think it is their first way of communicating. Ella communicates not only in that way, but with other random noises too...including the ear piercing shrieks! We are in the same boat with tummy time...and strong legs. Ella has crazy strong legs, but is finally building arm strength, I think crawling will be soon.
mellie- ella still is not showing signs of teeth, so no advice on teething yet.
suga- congrats on not needing the therapy! good luck putting together those high chairs!
I will keep you all updated as my weekend progresses...keep your fingers crossed for me!

Michele- I am keeping you in my prayers. Good luck to you.
I've been reading up on all of you and your little one's progress. How wonderful!!!! I'm so jealous of how normal (if there is such a thing) all of your lives are.
Gavin is doing fine. Eating solids like a champ and just 3 weeks ago he started with a sleep routine. Down at 7p cries between 10 and midnight for about 5 minutes and then up at 4a for a bottle then down again till 6a. DH is still unemployed. I'm figuring it will be at least a year. And we still have not settled all the crap with his ex. Hopefully we can go to court soon and get that behind us. Dh and I just went on a cruise (we won it playing bingo on the cruise last year). We needed it!! But of course where do you all think we cruised to?????MEXICO! And we had never even heard of the swine flu until we were watching CNN on the boat. So now I'm "Nervous Nelly" about Gavin getting his shots next week. I have a call into the pedi for recommendations. Arghhhh... Does it ever stoP????
I LOVE all the pic on photobucket. I will post one of Gavin today. I know that someone else on this thread had HELLP syndrom and I was wondering if you were having trouble losing the baby weight? I still have 20 lbs to go. But I'm just about finished breast feeding so the diet will start soon.
Hope all of you keep enjoying your little ones! Aren't the amazing? Take care everyone!
