2ww advice?

Post by faith77 »

I am on day 3 past 5dt and I am so anxious I can't stand it! How did all of you make it through? The days are creeping by and all I think about are those 2 embryos that I saw enter my uterus on transfer day and wonder if they are still developing or are they already gone? Any advice on how to spend the next 7 days? Also- I do not have symptoms - a little cramp here and there and breast swelling/tenderness, but I am connecting that to the progesterone. What type of symptoms should I be having and when?... to give me hope of a BFP?

Faith77-I wish I could tell you SOMETHING to help make the time go by.......I don't think there is anything. As far as signs/symptoms, I over analyzed every twinge or ache-only to find out they were from the progesterone. My only advice, try to keep busy-I know, easier said than done!!!!!! Best of Luck & lots of sticky vibes to you! ps. I didn't have any symptoms eitherr with 2 embies, but now I have a perfect little son.

I am on day 8 of my 2WW and I have 7 more days to wait bc of the holiday. I would have had my LW a week from today but bc of Memorial Day I now have to wait another day. It doesn't matter how busy I keep myself it is constantly on my mind. My breast are tender, I am bloated, have cramping and some pains in my stomach. I have vomited 3 times after dinner and nights seem to be my worse time. I have had gastric bypass 2 years ago so I am attributing my vomiting to that. I think I am trying to blame everything on meds and my gastric bypass so that I do not get my hopes up. The only time I am not thinking about things is when I am asleep and you can't sleep all the time :D

Good luck to you! Only advice is one day at a time. I try not to think about how much longer I have but that I got thru another day.

One thing that helped me during the 2ww was meditation. Nothing formal, just deep breathing and visual imagery of the 2 bubs as 2 little lights grabbing hold and breathing in my uterus. I just tried to have as much positive energy as possible. As far as symptoms, every woman is different, which of course you know, although I also wanted to know what symptoms successful IVFers had during my 2ww, so I'll tell you :) . A few days after transfer, I had a bout of cramping that lasted a few minutes. Then nothing, until a few days before the 2ww was up, at which point I felt like my legs were walking thru jello. The day before I got my beta, I felt dizzy and nauseous.

Hope this helped! Feel free to 'borrow' my meditation imagery! Someone else did and it worked for her too :).

Lots of luck and baby vibes!
Best Regards,
Shari
