it went well i got 19 eggs though that was not the plan the clinic only wanted me to have about 10 because of ohss last time with 18 eggs Owell the follicles must of had a good quick grow over the weekend as i only had 7 good follicle friday, not such a good thing growing that quick i don't think but im happy with the number as i want to freeze this time but won't be happy if i end up with ohss again but im drinking as mush water as i can thanku sarah for the advice hope you have a nice day off.
never thought i would get to this as the clinic were going to cancel the cycle as i was not responding two weeks ago hopefully my luck keeps running ET tomorrow will find out about the number of fertilised eggs and im sure they took a blood test when i was sedated yesterday so hope thats ok to and hopefully i will join all the 2wwers
Lets hope you get a good fertilisation rate and you get some to freeze!!

p.s wish I had known about water when I did first tmt as I got OHSS and they did not do ET....had I been drinking gallons of water I could have avoided it......Oh well.....whats done is done..........It just goes to show lots of girls on here know a lot more than the DRs!!
That's a super number of eggs!! OHSS is a worry so do keep drinking. I had terrible OHSS in my 1st treatment and I was told to drink but I was so bloated and sick I just couldn't. Milk is good to drink too but I can't remember why. Sarah probably knows as she is the font of all knowledge.
I hope you get a good amount fertilise too. I have never had any embies to freeze which annoys me but I am so keeping my fingers crossed for your ET tomorrow.

what a day I have had. Went to have second di and the first sample they looked at was no good, so we waited another 30 mins while defrosted another batch well still no good then they defrosted another batch and no swimmers. I just can not beleive my luck even with a donor i still do not even get the chance and to top it all I had to pay for the failed go.
well on a positive note only 4 more weeks to go before I can have another go.
do not hold out much hope for this time.
susan hope you get some good new's about your eggs.Dagny good luck for friday. I do hope you get some to freeze.

Dont know what to say what a P***er I would have been gutted , you poor thing , you can still be my buddy for next month cause EC and ET estimated 30th April 1st May.
Julyann - what a pain in the arse! I would have screamed.......the whole process is bad enough without that happening.......I guess the only way to look at it is, the little soul that is to be your baby was not ready to come down this month............
I'm due to test on Monday 5th April.........I am not really sure what to think, but if my little one is ready to come down, it will be positive, if not, I'll be joining you next month!
susan hope all went well with et and you are feeling ok.
jen f i could off screamed when they gave me the bill and I still had to pay. ivf has made me take nothing for granted, did not think this would happen as they only freeze good samples. Well good thing is I can try next month.
nikkie have you had any more scans.

I am enjoying reading all your updates - sorry I don't name you individually but I keep forgetting where everone is at! A blonde thing!! Anyway a quick update for you - went back to hosopital yesterday for another scan. Last time I had 2 biggish follicles and 11 small ones, well the 2 have got bigger but the small ones have stayed small
They have upped my dose of gonal F to 225ml and reduced my sniffing and I'm back on Monday for another scan. I came away a little despondent as I had hoped for more that 2 to work with but there we go!
On a positive note I know it only takes one good egg but I am hoping that these 11 little blighters start to spurt NOW.
July Ann-I have high hopes for you this time...what a total bummer, everything has been jinxed this time but you never know! Look at Nicola with her crap embryos!!

nickie this happened to me once I had 4 large ones and a few small ones.
When the nurse took some blood she told me not to worry as the hcg injection gives them boost. Well when I went for ec I had 14 and half of them made it to fertilize stage.
so try not to worry I know it is so hard.

you probably really dont need winding you up -BUT I CANT BELIEVE you had to pay - thats SO outrageous -I really think you should write to the clinic director and complain -thats SO OUTRAGEOUS -they should have checked the donor out before shoudnt they? O I dunno - but - grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!
By the way -I'm downregging at the moment -and its made me a bit growchy!! If you hadnt already noticed!

I did not relise that you had one lot of DI.....is it normal in your place to have two??
You have made me really worried now as in my clinic they told me that research shows that one is sufficient as long as it is at the right time............they sometimes do two, but as the day for doing my first one was on the Sunday they were not open and therefore didn't bother......I am really annoyed now, I was worried about it before and now I am extremely annoyed.
Oh well, I will just have to join you and write this one off and when my AF comes go for it again and make them give me two!
