Holy cow! I have not checked in for a while and so much going on! First of all, congrats to the pregnant mamas! How exciting! I have to admit that I am just not ready to go through it again. Working FT and being a mom requires so much! I am so happy for you, though!

Noah is into everything! He started at the Goddard School on June 1st and within a few days, he decided that crawling on all fours is much easier than the army crawl he had been doing since he was 6 months old. He is pulling up on everything and trying to walk behind anything he can find. He is so funny! He finally got his first tooth over the weekend! The Goddard School has been wonderful, BUT he is SICK ALL THE TIME now!!!!! UUUGGGGHHHH!!!!! :cry: My poor baby just had not been sick very much and now being exposed to all those germs has meant he has already been sick three times since he started...and I caught two of those illnesses. So frustrating!!! Oh well, he loves it there and I am sure he is building up his immune system. I am thankful I am in Sales and can be called away and can go pick him up and work from home...if not, we would be screwed! How does a single mom do it???

I am glad to know I should not feed Noah strawberries. I had not heard that. I must admit, we give him everything...pancakes, crackers, tortillas, fruit, veges, Stage 3 foods...all of it. My husband even gave him peanut butter!! I told him not to again, but I guess Noah doesn't have an allergy to peanuts!!! Geez...men! My husband didn't know not to do it.

It sounds like so much is going on for everyone! It is so HOT here!!! Over 100 degrees every day!!!

Take care all!!!

Hey moms!
Question for all you southern moms. What are ya'll doing to entertain the little ones during this unbearable heat wave? Isn't it miserable? Our city is even talking about having rolling blackouts!

Tina- wow on all the different foods little Noah eats! Crap, I'd be scared as hell to give any of that to Gavin. How'd you overcome the fear of him choking ? In that arena, I'm a bigger baby than Gavin. I told DH last night I'd be fine feeding him stage 2 foods until he was 2! LOL!

What are all of you doing with the little one for the 4th?

Mellie, CONGRATULATIONS! I am so happy for you! When is your ultrasound?

CT Michelle - My fingers are crossed for you. I am so sorry the last cycle didn't work.

Well, I had my ultrasound yesterday and I guess now, I finally believe I am actually pregnant. We saw a heartbeat and the baby is measuring exactly on track for it's gestational age, which is 6w3d. The plan is to do an amnio at 37 weeks to check for maturity, and if all is good we would do a c-section then. I guess because I had a classical c-section last time, we can't run the risk of me going into any kind of labor because the risk for rupturing the scar on a classical is so high. So now, I am just keeping my fingers crossed that this pregnancy will be long, and boring. I don't think I could handle another nightmare pregnancy like the last one!

Corny - That is wonderful news! :D Yes, you really deserve a long, boring pregnancy this time.

My second beta didn't double but it went up by 84%. Still, freaked me out a bit so I had it checked again today and it more than doubled. Here are the stats:
9dp5dt=214
11dp5dt=394
14dp5dt=1407

So, I feel much better now. Of course, in a few days I'll start worrying about the ultrasound.

Hope everyone's having a good week! I'm starting a new job on Monday (kinda crazy timing, huh?) so I'm busy trying to get my office packed up.

Got pics of my sweetie-pie made at Sears today. I'll post some to the bucket when I get the chance.

Hi ladies -- It's been a long time and there are so many new ladies here. It's going to take me a while to cath up on everybody but I do check in as often as I can. Hope all the beautiful babies and all the beautiful mommies are doing great.

CT- i was checking in to see what you were up to. Are you close to starting your second cycle? My fingers are crossed for you. I just looked at Ella's website and she is a doll.

ESPERANZA - Is there a website for beautiful Asha? I know she is gowing up and I'd love to see some new pictures. Michaela wants to get to know her college roommate.

As for me, Glenn and I just got married in Vegas on June 12th so we are just getting back to normal. We had about 40 family and friends there and we had a ball. Yes little Ms. Michaela flew to Vegas for the festivities. Please go to her website and take a peek at her new pictures. She is growing up and yes she have teeth already and is trying to walk at 9 months old. Nighttimes are still a horror for us because the child doesn't sleep but she is my angel. Everyone please take a look. Her website is www.michaelaskye.shutterfly.com. I will try to get on photobucket with the rest of you as soon as I figure it out.

Hope everyone have a great 4th of July and please keep those babies safe.
Me, 40 - DH, 47
IVF #1: POSITIVE - Michaela born 9/19/08
IVF #2: Consult on 10/13/09 - Start BCP Dec since clinic will be closed for the Holiday.

washingtonda- Congrats on getting married! How exciting! I loved las vegas when I was there and I bet it was tons of fun. Oh my goodness, I checked out her website and she is gorgeous! Isn't it crazy how they are starting to look like little people instead of babies now? Thanks for thinking about me, I already did a second fresh cycle and it was a BFN. I froze 4 embryos from that cycle and was supposed to have an FET June 24th, delayed until July 22 due to e2 levels. I continued my lupron and last week found out e2 levels were due to a cyst, so I got cancelled and have to start all over again. I took my last provera pill last night and af should be here soon, then bcp's, then lupron and god willing, maybe an FET by mid august? What a roller coaster it has been so far. Are you going for number 2? Our mommy thread here is quite busy, Mellie and Corny both preggers, gecko and katie both cycling with me now.

Mellie- Evie's pics are adorable! I got ella's pics done around 7/8 months and I am so glad I did, she was just old enough to take some really good ones! Congrats on the awesome betas, can't wait to hear about u/s.

corny- congrats on a smooth u/s, I am so happy for you pregnant girsl...I can't wait to join you...here's to a smooth 9 months! (well, more like 7.5 or 8 now!)

weezie- so sorry to hear about the heat waves...i don't know how you southern girls do it. It is getting close to 85 around here and I am already dying! Oh, and I am with you on the fear of choking...I got over it by getting one of those nuby bags that you put food it and they chomp on it. It only squeezes out non-chokable food bits. You can put fruits and veggies in it, I have put pasta and ham, bagels...and I keep experimenting with it, but no chance of choking!

tina- I am jealous that noah has gotten past the army crawl, ella is still dragging her belly all over the place. She will get up on all fours, but won't move. I have heard wonderful things about the goddard school...except that it is quite pricey, at least in my part of the country it is! Oh my, slap your husbands hand for me...peanut butter...I wonder what guys are thinking sometimes...maybe it just shocks me since I am a teacher and peanut butter is the universal banned food in schools due to so many allergies.

katie- I think ella is growth spurting too. Over the past few days, she has slept a lot! She sleeps late in the morning (usually until 9-ish, but I woke her at 11 one day last week!), and gets tired way earlier than usual. I also notice she is being really fussy with food, and not eating as much...I wonder what that is about?

Well, this week I started summer tutoring. It will be a busy July b/c of it, but I just couldn't pass up that kind of money. Ella also starts summer swim lessons on Tuesday, twice a week. She really started enjoying it in the spring, so I hope she still likes it. Next weekend is my brothers wedding in upstate ny. We went 2 weeks ago for the shower/bachelorette party and ella did ok on the 8 hr drive, a bit fussy on the drive up, but better on the way back. She slept surprisingly well in the play pen too, so I hope this next trip goes as well. I am most worried about her missing naps and being super fussy. DH and I are both in the wedding party, so other people will have her for a good portion of the day. I will be relieved when it is done.

I hope all of you have a wonderful holiday weekend...enjoy the cookouts and fireworks!

Hi Girls!

Washington - Congratulations on tying the knot!!!! That is great and with Michaela there - how special!

Weezie - yickes, we should share some of the weather, it is 60 and foggy here :( have to cover up my little guy it is cold!

Mellie congrats on the U/S! I know now you have to worry about everything else! Funny how I thought when I get pregnant I can quit worrying!! NOT! Congrats on the new job!!!

Corny- I hope you have a very boring pregnancy too! You deserve a break! How is your little girl doing?

Tina - good to see you here! Yes, working a bieing a mom is crazy! I can't even concentrate on work sometimes! My guy got sick for the first time at daycare also!

Gecko - Are you freaking out about paying daycare for #2? Gosh it is crazy having to pay $1000 for daycare here. How is your cycle going?

WE went for our 9 mo check up and he is 97% head (yep top heavy - lots of falls!), 90% heaight and 60% weight which doc said was big for bfed baby. He is doing great and cruising but hates belly time and crawling is no where to be seen. He is now sharing his food with me, he gets his finger food and puts it in my mouth and smiles which makes me melt! He does that with toys too! I hope to raise a sweet and sharing boy! Doc said everything is a go for food except honey, milk, egg whites, nuts and fish. He said to start doing 1/2 formula 1/2 whole milk when he is 11 mos in a cup to start trying to wean him. He is still only bfed and has no indication of weaning! He nurses a lot and while I enjoy it and it is great for him, I want to do IVF in january. His head is now round and no falt spot, the Doc said he had never seen a more diligent mom and such dramatic correction based on just repositioning of the head. All those sleepless nights turning him and having him sleep next to me has paid off! He said to keep doing it so we are not out of the woods yet but close!
We are going to have a mellow 4th and try to baby proof. found these great toilets locks that actually work! what are you girls doing about coffee tables?

Happy 4th!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi All,

I am home with a sick baby this week and it has been really hard. DH came home on Wednesday and that was some help, but he has to go back to the fire station tomorrow. Poor Declan came home Friday with a rash on his bottom that spread all over by Saturday. Dr. said not to worry. Then he had a low grade fever Mon. - Wed. and then on Thursday developed ANOTHER cold - this one with a nasty cough. It kept him up all last night. I took him in to see his pedi today and she said it was a virus and than his lungs, ears, and throat were not infected. Great news, but no real helpful meds. Tylenol and a humidifier only. I sure hope he gets some sleep tonight! This week his daycare was on vacation and I start summer school Monday and really need him to be well enough to go back to daycare. Wish us luck!

Rio - Yep! Totally freaking about the $$$ for daycare times two. But the reality is that it is only fo a few years so I guess we can suck it up for awhile. Unfortunately stupid California and the lame (non-existent) budget is fuloughing DH for three days a month and both of us may start getting IOUs instead of paychecks. Sure home our bank understands....Great news on the 9 mo check up! He is a lucky boy!

Michele - I hope you have a wonderful time at the wedding!!!

washingtonda - Congrats on the Vegas wedding! It sounds like you all had a great time.

Mellie - It sure looks like your betas are doing fine. I can't wait to hear about your u/s. When is it sheduled for?

cornybaby - What a relief for you to have a normal u/s!!!!! I hope your whole pregnancy is normal, blessed, and boring! Your deserve a break. I check out you blog regularly. Abby sure is a cutie! Love the wordless Wednesdays...

tina - I am so right there with you on daycare being wonderful, but they are sick all the time. Declan started in February and he has had at least two colds a month since then. AND he brings stuff home to DH and myself and we get it sooooo much worse than he does. I have had a stomach virus twice which he didn't get and the last cold he gave me lasted three weeks. I had five days where I felt ok, and now I am getting his current cold. The upside is that when they finally start kindergarden their immunity will be stong and they will hardly miss school. Maybe even earlier.

I hope everyone has a safe and fun 4th of July!

Hi Girls I finally managed to get a few moments spare to post and to catch up on everyone which has proven to be alot of reading. Firstly congrats to Mellie and Corny i hope you both have smooth and uneventful pregnancies and can soon join me with two little monsters getting around. And of course all the luck to Gecko Katie and Ct michelle i'm wishing Bfp's on all of you.

My Katie is 9months in a little over two weeks and has only just started to show signs of wanting to put weight on her legs she can sit if put down to sit and she can roll but refuses or hasn't been able to bear her own weight i have an appoinment with a physio to see what they think and to sort her out and from what i can find on the net is that she's showing signs of Low muscle tone which would explain all the feeding problems i've had and continue to have with her Bottles . She eats solids really well and is pretty much eating what we eat. Katie now has 6 teeth and is looking like pushin another 2 out she wieghs approx 8.8 kilos so shes a little bit porky but so cute Btw i've finally worked out how to post pics on photo bucket Weezie mine are the 2nd lot of katies on there. I can't beleive how big these babies are getting not so much babies anymore we'll be starting the 1st birthdays very soon perhaps Rio or someone who knows how to make the lists you can just keep adding to can make a birthday list so we know who to celebrate and when. sorry need to try and re settle Katie again i'm trying to get her to sleep alittle longer through the day so i'll try my best to pull my finger out and post more often and keep up with you all

I do not have too much time for personals, but I did read and catch up!! Gosh, we are a little busy now eh??

Congrats on the marriage!! Married life is a fun ride to say the least! :D

Also, on all the pregnancies....here is to a boring one! {grin}

For us, both babies are crawling everywhere and pulling up and cruising! Fun but it can get aggravating for me to have to go and save one baby from getting electrocuted to turning around and seeing another baby going into the kitchen to do who knows what! But I bet they are walking at least a little by the time they are one....one more month and my babies are one!! Can you believe it?! All of us are upcoming on that soon! Sheesh!

Really that is it in our life, we are pretty boring other than I get tired of chasing babies all the time!!! :o Very much worth it though! I *heart* them soooo much as I am sure you do your little ones!!
Me: 25 PCOS, BFP 1st time with twin girls!
