Reality TV Junkies! (completely off-topic)

Been gone for almost 2 weeks and have so much reality TV to catch up on. Not sure that I will get all caught up before I am off for yet another trip.
So, my DVR SKIPPED Bachelorette this past Monday. I just don't understand what the problem seems to be. That is the only show that it consistantly messes up. Maybe it is telling me something.
fortunately I can watch it on the computer. YEA!!!!!! wes is finally gone. Whie I liked him the first few episodes, it became painfully clear why he was there. What I couldn't understand as he was leaving he said that he was the first guy to make it to the top 4 with a girlfriend. So, did he in reality have a girlfriend or not?
I totally gained respect for Jillian by not using the fantasy sweet card with any of the guys, except ed. To me that really shows character.
I have a feeling the final two will be Reid and Ed....with her picking Ed in te end.
I think Kyptin lost a lot of points when he basically said there would not be a proposal in the end. Though, I think those two would have been perfect together.
Reid reminds me a lot of Chandler off of Friends. hehehehe

anyhow.....

Big Brother....WOW, I think this is going to be an exciting season. My dh said it was a total loser show and hated watching it. However, I did not make him watch it, so I think he does really enjoy parts of it.
I was totally upset that Jesse is back in the house, because I couldn't stand him last season so what's to say he will be better this season. I was really rooting either for jessica or Cowboy.

I think that is all for now....no one else watches so You Think You Can Dance, do they?


Michele- How are your numbers looking for cycling next month? Hopefully they get things figured out.

AFM- I called my "old" doctor to get my records released to me three weeks ago. WEll, I still do not have the release. So, I had to get a little hateful yesterday. They said they would send the release again. It just stinks that the clinic is 6 hours away so I can' tjust drop in and pick them up.
Anyhow, I have to get my records to my new doctor (who is 12 hours away) so that I can do a phone consult to see if he will even take me. My summer break is quickly ending, and I need to get this done before I head back to work. Nothing ever seems to happen the easy way.

Michele - hope you are having a great weekend with the wedding party.

When you get a chance to catch up with BB there are some really funny moments. At the moment though I really do not like any of them anymore! Rodrigo has become so serious about everything and I'm not sure what is going on with Siavash. I do like Charlie actually and think he may stand a chance of winning.

DVR problems again. when will they ever end.....
Golf ran over yesterday and I was unaware of it, so I missed the last 10 moinutes of Big Brother. So, of course I missed the nomination ceremony. Guess I will see if I can watch it online today.

I am headed out of town tomorrow for a week....then I am done with my travels until November. WOW!!!!

Hi ladies!

HR- ugh...dvr's...the same thing happened to me yesterday with big brother, I had to look up who got nominated. It was lydia, the tattooed ladie and chima, the skinny brainy girl. I am also not happy about jessie being back, I was routing for jessica and cowboy as a second. I wanted to know if jessica is still with that boy she hooked up with?? Ah well, jesse is such a meat head, and he should have nominated laura (big boobs), but he doesn't have a brain of his own, so I expected those nominations. I think the whole high school thing makes everything interesting, since people are more likely to use power of veto.

I can't wait for bachelorette tonight, and reid totally reminds me of chandler now that you say that! But I also think Ed will win, he is so crazy about her!

Angie- I will catch up on UK big brother within the next couple of days, I will watch a couple tonight and post soon, I can't wait to see who got evicted from that big group of 5 that were up!

I was really bummed last night with Reid leaving.I liked him. It will be intersting It will be good to see how Jill responds next week about Wes. I try not to watch the clips from next week and the "later this season" It gives too much away.

I love so you think you can dance robinson. it replaced idol for me. I got into it 1 or 2 summers ago. im glad its coming back this fall.

I too am giong out of town until sunday but im going to try and still watch my MIL has a dvr.

Ok, I caught up a little-

angie- I was a little surprised that Chris was evicted from UK bb. I was shocked at how many boos he got from the crowd, I though people would like him. I really do not like norine, I think she is a big trouble maker. Siavash has done such a good job all season keeping his mouth shut and staying out of the drama, so I don't know why he decided to tell her people called her a rabbit. And maybe people didn't say those exact words, but they have said things very similar to that, such as her being friendly with them one day and then not the next...that sounds like hopping from one group to another if you ask me. I think I still have a few more episodes until I fully catch up, I know siavash will be punished, but I don't know what his punishment is yet, and if anyone has been nominated yet, I haven't seen that either.

katie- I also think chima will go home, or someone will get the veto and the person who goes up as a replacement will go home. I also like lydia. I think I like the people in the "offbeat" crowd the best, maybe followed by some of the brains. The athletes seem like meatheads, I kinda like the karate girl at first, but then she lied about her age and I don't like the lying, I think you can win the game by being nice and yourself.

And the bachelor? I just watched it, and I wasn't too surprised about reid leaving, I didn't think they were a good match. But now I am confused about who she will pick. I thought ed, but whatever happened in the fantasy suite was weird, and hopefully he will redeem himself. I thought it was awesome he flew his parents out to meet her. I did watch the preview for next week and it looks like someone is going to give her some news to make her decision harder, but I couldn't figure out if it will be one of the guys still left expressing they may not be ready for a proposal, or if someone will come back to express their feelings. I am interested to see the "tell all" next week, I really don't like wes and I hope he gets lots of boo's.

UK BB- interesting this week with the returning house mates even though I do not know any of them. I was shocked that someone told them about michael jackson, but I guess I am a little surprised it wasn't a bigger deal, or maybe bb just didn't air it. I am glad norine is nominated, I hope she goes home, she is sneaky, leads people on and likes drama. I don;t really care for carly either. I think rodrigo and siavash are my favorites, but if I had to pick one person as an early favorite to win, it would be freddie.

US BB- I am surprised that many of the cliques have decided to split and not vote together. I do not like ronny, the big geek, I don;t like people that try and play on both sides. I thought I liked lydia, but she got mean pretty fast this week. Just b/c she was mad at braden, doesn't mean she should be mad at other people for still talking to him...gosh, that is so high schoolish! I guess bb picked a good theme. Even though I do not like ronny, I am happy he is HOH, because he will have to pick a side. I guess right now, I kinda like Jeff, he seems like a nice person and it is too bad he got stuck with a bunch of meat heads on his team.

The whole MJ tjing was massive here and our tv and papers is filled with it. BB just don't tell them anything, it would have to be something like terrorist attacks or something before they were told.

Sadly, I know all the returning housemates and Nikki still annoyed me just as much! Apparently more housemates going in today but we will wait and see.

Rodrigo is doing my head in! He needs to lighten up, or maybe he just not get the sense of humour of the others. Siavash makes me laugh so much, he is scared of everything. The way he reacts to spiders is hilarious. Lisa seems very manipulative and Carly and Charlie do whatever she says. So annoying.

Anyway back to homes under the hammer and all the daytime property and auction shows......

Do you mind if i gatecrash for a bit?? I am a BB uk fan - love it!! And yes Anginehull i too remember all the old housemates, though i nearly wet myself laughing the other night watching Dogface sing she is nearly as bad as me!! Michele wasnt too bad either wasnt she a bit of a bunny boiler with Stewart in BB5? My favourite is charlie and Siavash they are soo funny, but last night when Ex house mate Brian returned for the task i really wanted him to come back in - very entertaining even my mam is enjoying it I reckon either Carly or Noirin will go too much backstabbing and gossiping and Noirin has such a long face on her this last wk. I agree about Roderigo he is a bit boring and straight laced for me and Marcus ...creepy.... did you see the way he watched Nicky dancing? Will enjoy tonights eviction with a lovely glass of red wine.. bliss.

I have to post about UK BB while it is still fresh in my head. I caught up last night and downloaded the eviction episodes and stayed up and watched.

It got very good and interesting this week. I don't know what they were all thinking when they were protesting, did they really think BB would give them stuff because they were destroying everything? I thought it was so funny that BB took away all the furniture! It was also very interesting to see them all exchange their tokens for prizes of their choice, and I was surprised Freddie did not take a prize.

I can understand why people are starting to dislike rodrigo, he does take things too seriously, but I still think in his heart, he is a very good person and just cares about people. I do not know why he poured oil on charlies bed, that was too far and totally unlike him, I think he had just reached his breaking point.

I was very shocked they put 5 new people in the house, and it is too bad that carly's bf went in and then she got kicked out, but I figured that would happen. I think the new houseguests will change everything. I wonder if the old houseguests will ban together, or if new cliques will form? The new houseguests seem like the type of people who could easily turn the house upside down.

I think friday night was so funny. Kenneth in, Carly out ha ha ha. I wonder if he will stay?!

Not sure on the others yet but I hope Noirin finds someone better than Marcus to spend all her time with.

I don't doubt Rodrigo has a good heart but it is a game show so have fun. Not sure how dogface (Sophie) will cope now though. Lisa's little click has now tumbled.

The good thing about the 2ww is that I am so rested I can stay up and see it and am not falling asleep too early.

Well I've cracked and started watching it!! My mum talks about it all the time so I thought I'd try and watch it. Still not as good as the previous years though - think BB was a bit of relaxed and let them get away with more than they do now! Should be interesting now with the 5 new people!

Okay just got caught up on US BB!!! I was shocked to see Braden go. The house has quickly divided itself. They really are acting just like they are in High School. Almost sad.
I don't like many of the people on this show. Can't stand Ronnie, though I must say that he is smart enough to play the show and play it well. However, everyone is going to quickly catch on and he will not make it more than another week....or two.
I love Jeff and Jordan, but I don't think either of them will make it very far. I see Jeff actually going home this week, even thouh he is a "pawn." I also really like Casey. He is super funny.
Anyway......

Can't wait to see the men tell all on Bachelorette tonight. I want to see what Wes has to say for himself. I am sure that he didn't have a girlfriend...they needed to keep their numbers up so.....

Hr- I agree about BB, just like high school, but I am suprised some of the cliques are already fighting within their own clique. I think it is early for me to pick people I like, but jordan and jeff do seem like genuinly nice people. It will be interesting to see what happens tonight after veto comptetion, I hope that ronnie does back door russell, because I don't like him either.

The men tell all- excuse my language, but it was such a b*tch fest! I have never seen so many guys sit around a coffee table and whine and complain about each other. I think david needs to take his "man code" and shove it where the sun don't shine. I don't care about the man code, I think jake did the right thing by exposing wes, and I think tanner should have done it weeks before that...if someone is there with a gf, they don't deserve any respect. Did you see the crowd reaction when someone asked jake if he would be the next bachelor? I know he is a bit of a goober, but I think he would be a good bachelor and really find true love. I still really like Michael (the breakdance instructor), I think he was my favorite, just such a sweetheart.

I am not surprised wes was not there, obviously he does not have a lot of fans. I was a little surprised reid was not there, and made me think that he is in the final episode, which was confirmed by the previews at the end. Now I have no idea what will happen...kypton, reid or ed. I think this is the first season that I truly do not have a gut feeling and/or a prefernece. I think they are all great guys and she can't go wrong. I guess I think that Ed is her best match, but I could be wrong about that too. Either way, I am looking forward to watching it next week.

UK BB- I hope nominations are tonight, I can't wait to see what happens. I don't think the new guests should go for the secret mission. I think it will be hard to accomplish and they will just make enemies in the house and with the public, which is what matters the most. Bea is right, about not wanting to do a mean thing, she seems sweet. If they do all go up for eviction, I think Kenny might go. I am shcoked at his behavior, considering his gf was in the house and friends with everyone. He seems like a bit of a sexist pig. I wonder how he would have been acting if carly was still there? And I wonder what carly is thinking while watching him and if they will last when he is out. I wonder how long they have been dating. I still do not like norine, I think she is still playing all sides and uses her feminine powers too much, she is way too flirty and teases people just to get her way. I don't like girls like that. It should be interesting to see who everyone decides to nominate.
