Post by abogenpohl »

we go wednesday for our last appt with infert dr we get to see if our baby b heart rate has picked up. we have prayed so hard and have tried to get prepared for anything but this is so tough. hormones are gettin hard to to deal with in regards to running out of areas to give pio shots. my buttie soooo hurts, the dry heavin at night and in am has been crazy. over all im just ecstatic to be pregnant praying for a miracle. my dr office nurse told me time will tell that the only real advice i received so we just sit wait and worry. lol. well may god bless u all and congrats to everyone. and super huge thanks for all the responses regarding baby b`s heart rate u are all soooo great. thanks, abogenpohl

Hi Ladies, I just wanted to post an update now that we have had our first u/s. We have one strong little bean. The heartbeat was at 128 bpm at 6w5d so we were very excited. Doctor seemed pleased as well. We are still balancing excitement with cautious as it is still very early, but so far so good. We are relieved to not be in a high-order multiple situation again and hope this will give us a better chance for live-birth given our history. I hope you are all doing well, and feeling well! Nausua has definitely set in for me, but it will all be worth it!

Baylorbear - I'm so glad that your U/S went well and you can relax knowing that you have one great beanie.

CK121 - Great job on being relaxed about not seeing the heartbeat. So many of us would be needlessly worrying right now, even though it is really early. Next week will be wonderful when you get to see it. I bet it was great seeing that little beanie that will soon be in your arms to hold :)

abogenpohl - good luck tomorrow!

AFM - had a bit of a scare today. BAD cramping in my lower back and an occular migraine (visual disturbance but no headache pain). I was really freaked out because I experienced both of these things when I lost my twin last time. Had an U/S today and saw a great hb (178bpm) and baby measuring exactly right. The baby was really wiggling around... a big blob with little buds :) She did see a small pool of blood near the sac but said it is very common, and should not be a risk. Hopefully it will reabsorb.

Hope you are all well! I think of you all often and pray for healthy babes for you all!

Okay girls, I am moving on over!! I did not want to move over to this side of the board until we had our U/S. I am so happy to report that we had a great appointment!!

ONE embie is growing away with a heart rate of 136BPM!! Right on track for growth as well. We were able to see the flutter of the heart and a little bit of limb buds (how cool!).

I look forward to going through this with all of you guys! It's great to see so many familiar names.

I am pulling for all you multi girls - take it easy and pamper yourself!

Daisy,
Welcome aboard! I was wondering when you were going to mosey on over.
You & I are only a day apart. How are you feeling? Are you nauseated all the time like me? Do you have food aversions? Do most smells make you sick? Are you boobs sore? Have you gained weight? Tired all the time? Yeah!!! We must be pregnant!

Hi ladies! How is everyone doing today? Feeling pregnant? Anyone telling?

Hello all, just checking in... I have been so unbelievably tired. I seriously can barely hold my head up during the day. Is anyone else this crazy-tired? We told our families on Friday night, so they are excited. They have joined us with the constant prayer and worry that this pregnancy will be successful. I hope you are all doing well, and I will post more when I get a little more energy.

Hi Everyone - I have been away and just too tired otherwise to check in, but it is exciting to see how much has happened since I've been on!!!

Daisy - welcome - it is great to see your growing little one finally, isn't it?

Baylorbear - I am so happy for your strong singleton results!!

CK - Congrats on your first view.... here's to an even better U/S the next time around!

Sabi - I am so relieved for you and happy for the twins! You will do great with two in there - and they must be strong with betas like that!

Wishfull - I here ya! All I feel is tired lately! Get the sleep you need.... your health will appreciate it later when you don't get ill. I have read a lot about pregnancy lowering a woman's immune system, so we are more susceptible to everything, including the common cold. Sleep is golden!

Belle - How are things going? I also reduced my activities a bit (just in terms of numbers - continued touch football and long distance running but no more ball hockey which can be body contact) and am trying to avoid major jolting motions, but otherwise, I find that my nausea is lessened and my energy is higher when I am active - the worst is when I sit too long doing nothing active!!

Julie - How are you feeling now, with your back pain, etc.? Has it subsided?

Abogenpohl - How are you? How did your u/s go last Wednesday?

Hi to everyone else in case I missed you!

AFM - I find that I feel different now at almost 9 weeks than at 8 weeks. It feels like the nausea is actually subsiding somewhat. I still feel it, but immediately eat something and I feel better - it does the trick. My only major symptom now is the exhaustion which suddenly hit me full force at 7.5 to 8 weeks - where I slept in mornings, didn't do too much, and was drowsy by noon, had a nap, then was tired again by suppertime (and this was while on holidays!). While everyone else is up to all hours, I just want to slink off to bed. I am still eating a lot.  And.... I am starting to show extra "tummy" - I can't call it a belly, as there is no definition whatsoever - and I have not gained any weight yet - but my shape is certainly changing - the waist is wider and hips and belly are rounder.

Anyone else noticing physical changes? I am sure you with multiples will notice earlier than the rest of us....

Babygurlsolages:

I can't say for sure, as I know that sometimes FET (and maybe FDE?) are counted differently in terms of the embryo development, but I would hazard a guess that: 3 day embryos on July 9th means a theoretical start of development on July 6th. If you enter that into a due date calculator (or just add 266 days to that date) you get your approximate due day:
MARCH 29, 2010.

You are 5 weeks pregnant according to my calculation, which is 35 days, exactly what the nurse told you.

Your best evaluation will be at your first ultrasound where you can see the stage of development and have a better estimate.

Best of luck, and welcome!
