HI Heather
I'm a big FET fan!
I have had two FET cycles now after hyperstimming on my IVF cycle, they couldn't put any fresh embies in, so froze all five of them.
My first FET cycle was a positive, unfortunately I miscarried, but that's just the roll of the dice unfortunately, nothing to do with FET.
My second cycle was also positive, I have my first scan tomorrow, so have everything crossed!
What I love about FET is the more relaxed approach. I had natural FET because I ovulate, so there was no drugs, no injections (except after embie transfer), I just went for transfer then waited the obligitary two weeks. I understand form this web site that for women who don't ovulate, that you take the similar IVF "ripening" drug to stimulate ovulation, then the embies get popped back in.
FET has a high success rate Heather, my doctor said to me that once the embies survive the defrost, there is as good a chance as a fresh cycle. Some embies don't make it, but so far all of mine have.
Look forward to hearing your news Heather.
Belinda
