Hi girls!

Suga - I love the pics of the girls! I can't believe how much they have grown, the tub ones are darling! How was your experience with JCpenneys? Would you recommend them? How much was it? I also read about you going to the gym and the weight thing, I can't believe people said things to you about it! Give me a break! Good for you for not being hard on yourself and cutting yourself some slack, you went through a lot. You are motivating me!!! :)

CT- I am going to do a jungle theme thing, that's what his room theme is and it would be cute! Your FET is almost here! My bean only has two bottom teeth and is now just getting his top ones. I heard some can be delayed, I wouldn't worry too much!

My little guy is teething and wanted to nurse all night long! I am so tired at work right now, ZZZZ. On the other hand he is doing amazing at daycare now! Doesn't even cry when I leave him and is having a great time!!! :) What a relief! So I still cannot get over his falls, he fell while sitting down and right on his face, then had a little bloody nose, argh! It kills me, i just want to put him in a bubble! He grabs on to everything and no matter how much I watch him, down he goes from trying to crawl...

Loopie? Katie?

Weezie - sorry you are batling the evil ex still, so you guys want to have another? that's great!

Mellie - how is your twin pregnancy going? Are you over the shock yet? Keep us posted with u/s news and everything!

Corny- how are you doing with your surprise? Abby looks great!

Our post has been slow, I guess we are all way busy!

Rio: I like the photographer here at our Pennys....we have been going to her and her only since birth. We went to someone else there at Christmas and I hated the pictures! So I think it really depends on your photographer. We ALWAYS have coupons when we go (like 40% off) I signed up for a thing online (on their web site) and get coupons ALL the time so I use those when I go. Otherwise it would be around $120 a pop to get the package I always get. However, they do have smaller packages for cheaper but I can never get those because so many people want pictures....I would try yours out, if you like them then you can become a portrait club member and not pay any sitting fees ever. I have a friend in Kentucky who hates their Pennys but she used to live here and loved ours here....so ya never know! Yeah it was my dad (who I do not get along with great) that said something about my weight and of course my mom makes simple remarks here and there but I know she means well at least...my dad I want to slap! lol!!!

The girls birthday is this week!! HOLY COW!!!!

Hi Everyone! Holy cow Mellie, Congratulations on the twins! You are going to be one busy gal! And CT...good luck on your upcoming FET. I have my fingers crossed for you. :D

As for us, it has been a crazy busy and exhausting July. DH got injured on the job (he burned his hands on a structure fire), so he has been home for almost the entire month. It's been nice having him home, and I am dreading him going back to work this week. Ugh. The backs of his hands are scarred, but other than that he healed up pretty well.

Abby is doing awesome. I just got the invitation out for her birthday party this week. We aren't doing too much...just a BBQ with the family. I can't believe she's already one. The time flew by so fast! She has 5 teeth and just cut her 6th, but oh my gosh ladies, she is working on her 1 year molars and they are a NIGHTMARE. She has been so difficult for the past week or so. She just had her 11 month check up and she was 19p10oz and 27 inches tall. The 75th percentile for her height and 50th for her weight. She's such a big girl and we love it.

As for the pregnancy, all is well. If you can believe it, I have only gotten to hear the heartbeat once and I've had 1 ultrasound which was 6 weeks ago. I have the big 12 week u/s next week...the one where they measure the skin fold and nasal bone and such. I am looking forward to that since the only time I saw the baby it was just a tiny flicker on the screen.
I will tell you this though, I am already showing! I even asked the doctor if I was too big, because seriously, I am huge already! He said it's totally normal...that your body just remembers. But I am so worried I am going to be as big as a house before all is said and done.

Well, that's it from here for now. It's 7 o'clock and Abby is finally getting hungry. She hasn't been eating much with the molars and all, so I better go get some food in her.

Hope you all are well! I am hoping I can drop in a lot more often now that summer is winding down.

Hi girls...thanks for thinking about me and my cycle. Unfortunately, I got more bad news today. Thursday I went for suppression check and e2 was too high again. They told me to hope for af, which came over the weekend, and I went for more bw on monday. Instead of e2 going down like it should have, it doubled. So I am officially delayed again. They are doubling my lupron dose and I go back in 2 weeks to check again. RE says I will stay on lupron until I am suppressed and no one can guess how long that will take.

I am really frustrated, I feel like there are so many hurdles to get by just to even try the FET, and then I know all too well that bfn's happen, so I am starting to feel like ella will never have a sibling.

Besides for that crummy news, everything else is well. Ella is just perfect, such a good baby and doing new things almost every day. Still no teeth and she still army crawls! But she has gotten pretty good at standing and holding things and she is getting stronger everyday. I am spending a lot of time preparing for her huge birthday party. I am ordering a big cake from sams club and a little one just for her too! I hope to get some horribly messy pictures and some great video of her destroying the cake!

corny- sorry to hear about dh, and that he needs to go back to work. I remember when ella was born, dh got 7 weeks of paid and when he needed to go back, I felt lost! I am happy to her abby is well and your pregnancy is going well.

rio- I think a jungle theme will be fun. I have seen so much stuff out there for jungle/safari.

suga- tell mackenzie and brooke I said a big happy first birthday to them! (well, tell them tomorrow) I hope you enjoy the day with them and take some pics for us to see.

Ok, I know I missed many of you, but I am drained for the moment, I need to get some sleep and get my mind off ivf for a little while. I will check in again soon.

Hi Ladies!!! I have been MIA. Between vacation and moving next week I have been sooo busy. We decided end of last week to put off the FET until about march-april ish. I want to enjoy moving and giong to chicago in oct. I am also considering when I would deliver and I decided that early 2011 would be good b/c it would be after the holidays and I would have time to work on weight and stuff before summer and have LOTs of time to work on it before the holidays when lots of pictures will be taken. I know you ladies undstand that. I still have 10 pounds to loose and i have not lost one pound since June and thats when I got on BCP to start FET so im pretty sure thats what stopped me in my tracks. I am off now so im going ot amp up the walks in the new neighborhood when it cools off a bit.

Happy bd Brooke and Kenzie (yesterday) Its amazing how fast this year has gone. I love this age so interactive and fun BUT he is def. starting to throw his fits. Good luck to everything CT im bummed about all your bad luck and E2 levels. I just caught up on the June/july thread and I am still rooting everyone on.

Thanks for all the bday wishes!!! It was a good day we went and saw the NICU nurses and thanked them again and gave them a birthday cake so that was fun. The girls got to meet some of the nurses that worked with them so that was wonderful. How do you know it is the molars? Can you feel them?

Corny: AH so sorry to hear about your hubby! I am glad that he is ok though and only has the scars and nothing worse! Your baby girl is a chunker! :) How did that happen!? She has caught up with my Mackenzie...Brooke is almost 21 lbs (probably is now). How is she doing on table foods? Mine are picky eaters now when it comes to solids but they still will eat whatever in puree? Weird. They say you show faster and bigger your second pregnancy....I am sure you look cute!

CT: Gosh, we will keep you in our prayers with the FET.

The girls are starting to throw little fits and feed off one another. Other than that they are great girls. The girls have 5 teeth each and working on 6 and 7. They do not like the texture of a lot of foods so it is hard getting them to eat enough solids and they still like their purees (ugh!) BUT we are getting off formula with is WONDERFUL!

CT: That's lousy. I'm sorry. I remember what it was like getting all the delays my first time around and it is absolutely maddening. I totally sympathize with you.

Corny: Glad your husband is ok. I'm showing already, too! I am 10 weeks and am probably as big as I was at 5 months with Evie. Luckily, I can still hide it with loose clothes b/c I'm not ready to tell work yet. Evie is tall and thin, too. She was usually 75%ile for height but jumped to 90th%ile at her 9 month appt but she is only 50%ile for weight. Her daddy is 6 feet tall so she may be a tall girl.

Suga: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE BABIES!!! I have a question for you. Did you ask your obgyn about his/her experience delivering twins? I wonder if I should do that. I think mine probably has a lot of experience but a couple of her partners seem kinda young. Maybe I'm being paranoid.

We're doing fine. Evie completely rejects all table food, though. She gags on it. Anyone else have this problem? Even the tiniest piece of banana or 1/3 of a cheerio and she gets so mad at me if I put it in her mouth. I have to put it on a spoon or she won't open her mouth and then sometimes she gags. I don't know how to get her used to solids with chunks.

As for teeth we have #'s 5 and 6 coming in. Evie is starting to let go of furniture and she hovers for a few seconds before she falls over. So sweet.

DH wants to go to Switzerland to visit his family in October. Not sure how that's gonna work. With Evie we went when I was about 14 weeks. I'll be around 20 weeks in early October. Obgyn said it was ok. We"ll see.

OMG....OMG....OMG...
DH is on his way to get my evil step kids for the next 10 days and I decided to POAS because I'm late. Well....yep it was positive!!!!!
I know we were going to do our FET in Feb. But this is such a shock! I've been taking NSAIDS for my broken foot and I haven't taken ANY vitamins and drinking a couple of beers a week!!! Now I have to kick my butt into gear and get healthy. I plan on calling my OB tomorrow and getting confirmation.
I'm excited but VERY nervous at the same time. I can't stop myself from looking at the test!!!!
I will read personals and post again later. I have to get the house ready (hide jewlery, Gavins bank, personal papers, etc) before the arrival of the evil ones.

Weezie are you serious?! Man I wish that would happen to us but I just do not think that is in our cards! CONGRATS my dear!

Mellie: The first OB I went to did not have a TON of experience with twins and was not going to have me see a perinatologist unless something "came up" boy am I glad I changed doctors! I went to a bigger practice with a doctor that had a TON of experience with multiple orders. Honestly, if you feel comfortable then it is fine!

As far as baby foods go...most babies are not ready for chunks or bigger pieces until they are 10 months old....some not till they are one! So I would not worry. Textures are very different for babies and they all react differently. Mine still do not like some textures and it takes getting used to.

Weezie- awesome news! I must admit, I am quite jealous, but hopefully I will be preggers soon...unfortunately, it will never happen the old fashioned way for us. But I am so happy for you and your family, Gavin will be a great big brother!

Weezie - congratulations!!! WOW~! How cool and I am with CT - so wish this would happen to us but I don't think the old fashioned way would help us any. Don't stress out about the evil skids, try not to. It is hard, I have my little manipulative evil skid 40% of the time and it is getting harder and harder, especially when she tries to use my little bean... :( I feel guilty for wishing she was not in my life...

mellie - I am so excited for you! You are brave going on a long trip preggers and with a baby!!!

Katie- great to hear from you! Sounds like you are on a good plan

CT - I am sorry this cycle has been so frustrating for you, :( try to keep the PMA, it is hard but you will get Ella a sibling!

Corny - hope DH is feeling better and congrats again!

As for us, we are starting to have little tantrums and it is surprisingly hard to deal with it. He also refuses vegetables, I have tried everything, he is a great eater, has the pincer grasp down and loves his finger food, loves cheese, refuses chicken, fish or anything green :( I am still giving him baby food fruits and oatmeal. Any tips?

Rio - We have eating trouble, too. She won't put ANYTHING in her mouth other than what she can teeth on -- I've tried macaroni and cheese, bits of banana, bread, cheerios. She looks at me like I'm nuts when I put little pieces in her mouth. She likes to play with them, though. Smears them all over the tray.

DH purreed (sp?) some brocoli last night and she reallyl seemed to like that. The consistency was of soup so it's not really teaching her to eat solids but at least it was something different. Have you tried that?
