Its been ages since I've been on here, doesn't time just seem to disappear so quickly nowadays...its a bit scary.
Ellie has just got some of her back teeth so has been a bit tetchy on occasions, but luckily she is still sleeping throught the night....thank goodness for Calpol.
She never shuts up, all of my friends with children older than Ellie comment on how vocal she is, she'll say Mumma, Dadda, Bubble, and loves saying Hiya and Bye Bye to everyone we walk past, much to their amusement! When we do Old MacDonald had a farm she can now do the noises for cow, monkey, lion, snake....OH OK.. our farm is really a ZOO!
We are still giving Ellie a bottle at night time but I think we could probably stop around about now. Ellie mostly eats what we eat now, she absolutely loves boiled eggs.
We have tried taking Ellie to animal parks and similar attractions, but we figure that she is still really a bit too young to appreciate and enjoy it fully, but we have had good fun on those days anyway.
DH and I have finally decided that we are not going to try for any more children, in a way it makes me a bit sad, but I am so grateful that I have actually had the opportunity to experience this life changing motherhood. So in September, when the clinic send us a reminder to pay for refreezing our embryos, we will instruct for the disposal.
Do any of you have a trailer that fits on the back of a pedalbike, we got one in the hopes of doing a cycling holiday, well we changed our minds as we were having difficulty in making it comfortable for Ellie, we think we just about have that sorted, and as it is totally chucking it down with rain I am quite relieved that we did not do it!
I have finally decided to sort out my post baby body, I rejoined weightwatchers and have taken up running. I can now run for 5 miles in 50 minutes without stopping which is a great feeling, but I still have 2 1/2 stone in weight to lose!
I hope all you girls are keeping well
Mandy
