To_have_fun, that is our prayer, I have frozen embryos, so they intend to use my natural cycle, as I have been asked to come in on the 10th day of my cycle. I wish us the best of luck.

Hello there everyone. I'm a newbie to this site and message boards in general. I was hoping to join you. Infertility is a struggle, and lately I've been feeling very alone. It seems I have less and less people I can talk to as all my friends and family seem to get PG without even so much as a thought.

So, I'm just new to the world of IVF and am expecting a Frozen Embryo Transfer around Dec. 11. I was expecting to do a Fresh cycle back in August/Sept. but I got OHSS and my transfer was cancelled and my little babies-to-be frozen for a future try.

Hi Ladies,

I'm cautiously joining the NOV/DEC thread since I had my Sept IVF cancelled...long story but basically I was growing 30 follies (a lot!) and the night I was supposed to give my HCG trigger shot, I gave myself a shot of AIR by accident!!!

They had me come in the next morning and when they saw I had no HCG in my system, they cancelled my cycle since they thought this affected my egg quality and did not want to use up one of my IVF cycles (I only get 4 tries with my insurance). Well, needless to say that with 30 follies, my ovaries were the size of grapefruits (literally) and they had to give me 4 shots of ganorelix to decrease my estrogen levels and shrink the size of the ovaries.

So I am now officially 8 days off of all medications/shots and they are now waiting for my AF to begin another cycle of IVF. I am hoping I get it in the next week or so and then they will put me on BCP for 2 weeks and then begin Lupron which should put me at the begining of NOV!! I am excited to connect with all of you going through this roller coaster journey.

Looks like I'll be starting my cycle early November too (BCPs starting next week). This is also my first IVF cycle; I've found hanging around some of other boards is quite helpful in terms of what to expect.

Welcome Ladies! I'm new at this too. I had my first IVF scheduled for Aug/Sept. but couldn't do the transfer due to OHSS. I have 14 snow babies and hope to have my FET done on Dec. 12th! I'm so excited, anxious, nervous... all these emotions wrapped up together. Glad you're here to share and support!

claud662- You are so lucky that insurance will cover IVF! Where do you live. I'm seriously considering moving to Boston with my sister... MA had coverage... MI does not! This is my one and only shot for a while... I'm a teacher and just can't afford another try right away. Fingers crossed and baby dust to us all!

Hi - I am new to the boards - thanks for starting up this cycle group. I found out today that I am targeting Nov shots with Dec ET. RE started me on BCP 2 weeks ago and wants me to stay on them (with an AF break) until week before shots. Hope its not too long but I guess they are the expert. Anyone else on BCP for 6 weeks prior to IVF?

Anyways, I am happy to be here and look forward to the next 8 weeks!

Hi Ladies.
I am going on my second back to back cycle. Last month, two embies transferred... but bfn beta.

MY DH and I were devistated, but decided to go for it again. We start cycle of diluted lupron and Gonal-F on October 28th. We are hopeful.

It's nice to see this board getting busy. I wish you all the best. Thanks.

Hey Ladies... Sorry I have been MIA. I am trying to stay away from all IVF boards. Just checked in today because of Rosario a gal that I have cycled with many of times. Emotionally things aren't good for me. Just so ready to get off this IVF roller coaster. I haven't gotten AF since July. Found out I have a huge cyst and will have that aspirated next week. RE says I am still a go for their Nov 2 cycle. I have no hope. When they did the U/S i didn't have any antral follicles. I usually have at least 8.

I will try and check in every once in awhile. Wishing you all the best of luck and sending tons of BFP vibes.

To-have-fun-Hang in there! try to stay positive and I'm sure the cyst removal is an easy proceedure. Hopefully once it is removed you will see your antral follicles again. Keep us updated and I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you

marya-nice to see you again (I was also on the sept/oct thread) and I hope that this cycle brings you and your DH success!

tc4474-when I was on bcp last cycle they had me on for 21 days, but I do know that some dr like to do more so your ovaries are totally supressed before begining stims. I wouldn't worry about it since I'm sure they know what is best for your body according to b/w and u/s.

motherhoodhopes-I live in NJ and my DH works for the government so his insurance is UNBELIEVABLE! I get 4 IVF fresh cycles covered so hopefully it will work on the first time so we can save those other ones for the future if need be. 14 snow babies is amazing and I hope they all thaw out and have excellent grades!

supergenious-welcome! this board has helped me tremendously and like you I read the board for a few weeks before joining last cycle! the women are unbelievable support (espcially when you don't hear the greatest news

)

Miner79-happy belated birthday! I also turn the big 30 this April and I am soooo hoping to be preggers on my birthday

Hello my name is Denece and I'm 24 years old and have been TTC for 3 years now. DH and I had an ectopic a little over a year ago which destroyed the use of my left tube. My right tube is blocked so at this point IVF is my only option. I went a month after my ectopic and spoke with a RE about IVF. It was really overwhelming so I left and didn't give it another thought. Well now DH has convinced me to start the process again. We went on Oct 6th for the meds educational course. I got through that pretty easily. What I wasn't expecting was for the Dr. to go full speed ahead after that. Needless to say I left out of the office that day with an appt for DH to have a semen analysis, RX for my fertility meds, IVF planning calendar, lab test sheets and 3 preset monitoring appts for myself. I was like WOAH!! My head was spinning. I was thinking to myself, what just happened here. So according to my calendar I am due to start Alesse birth control with the onset of my next cycle which should be before Oct 19th. Assuming AF shows up on time, my ultrasound, blood work and saline will be on 11/03. I'm happy this time around and have a very positive outlook on things. Maybe this baby/babies will end up being an early Christmas present for my family!! I hope you ladies will let me share my journey with you!

Hi everyone - I hope it is ok for me to join the group as well. I have been lurking on the site now for about a year now but this is the first time I am hoping to join a group. My DH and I have been TTC for two years now and it has been such a long and crazy road. Here is a little info about me and my journey so far.

After two miscarriages with natural pregnancies I was diagnosed with have a reciprocal translocation of my X and 10 chromosomes. This diagnosis means that IVF is really our only option because we need to have PGD testing on every embryo to insure that everything is normal before any transfer. Our first cycle was just over a year ago now and after 3 weeks of Lupron injections it was canceled because I was not suppressed enough. We had our second cycle shortly there after and even though we had 10 wonderful embryos not a single one tested normal so the cycle ended without a transfer. Cycle three was canceled, again because my system was not suppressed enough, at which point we took some time off and switched doctors. Our last cycle was in July and we had one perfect little embie that we were able to transfer, but unfortunately it resulted in an ectopic pregnancy. After all of the heartache DH and I have decided that this is our last cycle so this time it has got to work!

Currently I am scheduled for ER around 11/14 and ET around 11/18. I have a really good feeling about this time for all of us and it will be really nice to be able to go through this cycle with the support of everyone from this group!

Hi ladies,

Hoping I can join you all. I just finished IVF#1 and it was BFN. We are starting right back up and will be cycling soon. I start BCP tomorrow. First cycle was strange....numbers looked great....19 measurable follies...good E2....expected 10 eggies at ER...only got 2....not sure why. Only one fertilized and it was of average quality....well you know the rest.

I am a PCO member. TTC for 3 years for DS. DH and I have been TTC#2 for about a year now. I am still getting over the disappointment of the first cycle but need to keep my chin up for this one. This is the last cycle for a while...no more $$. Let's hope its a good one.

Good luck to you all on this cycle...I hope this thread has great news over the next weeks.

Hi Ladies,

I am new to this forum and hope it's ok for me to join. It is my first IVF cycle and I am already over 40. I had m/c last year and tried a couple of IUI this year, so now we moved to IVF. My cycle is around Oct /Nov, and hopefully ER/ET on first week of Nov. currently I just start my Lupron shot yesterday and should continueous for another 2 weeks.

Is anyone with same cycle as I am?,
