Lou71 - Am so please your ER seems to have gone as well as it could – that’s positive news! Sorry you are feeling rough/in pain though – I must admit, I wasn’t aware that you were left in discomfort after ER – will be better prepared for this now.
Sleep, rest and relaxation sounds like the best idea.
Fingers crossed for 6 little embies tomorrow – keep us posted.

Thanks everyone for the get well wishes. I went to the DR says I probably had the swine flu which has led into bronchitis. Still running high fevers also. Calling the RE to see what they think about this cycle is okay to continue or not. It is pathetic but I don't think I would care if they cancel me, I feel so horrible :( Good luck to everyone and I'll keep u updated.

Hi Supergenius

Wow, thanks for the effort in tracking ever one's progress.

I just done my 2nd US today, everything is good, my e2 is 278 (today), yesterday was 173. I believe I have 4+5 similar size follicles growing ??. RE place me on same medication for another 2 days and go back for US/BW on Thursday (10/29). My estimated ER is on 11/1 but they told me it is going to be +/- 2 days.

Hi Lou

Hope you will feel better sooner. Just relax and take more rest. Did you do anything special before ER?, any advice?, I heard someone told that eat some pinapple core will help for implant,

For all other ladies, hang in there, and keep up the spirit.

I got really excited to see my name in the updates so thanks for doing that! It feels so official. I'm probably not a good teammate right now as I am driving myself crazy getting ready for IVF. Trying to lose weight (reasonably) and worried about the pharmacy of injectables that is scheduled to arrive this week. Hopefully I can be a good supporter to everyone here! Its nice to feel not so alone during this process.

Thanks!

thanks supergenius for the tracker. it's really exciting to see everyone on there... thanks a bunch.

lou - congrats on the 6 eggs and fingers crossed for tomorrow for 6 perfect embies! you are funny about DH's & the porn. my husband told the funniest story about being in the "sample" room with super thin walls trying to open the porn drawer and realizing that everyone in the clinic could hear the drawer opening, and know exactly what it is he was getting into, so he closed the drawer out of embarassement, which made the noise again :)

babyhopes- welcome to the board! For my last cycle they had me on a similar protocol, I was on the estradiol patch along with the ganirelex and for stims was on gonal-f and luveris. I was happy with the results of our last cycle, even though it ended up ectopic. Hopefully it will the bethe right combination for you this time around!!

Franny- I think I'm in the clear with the headaches - only 2more days of the Lupron and I'll be done - woohoo! It always feels like a victory to me when I get through one of the meds for a cycle:) I'm currently living in Brooklyn and work in Manhattan. DH and I are just counting down to when we can move up to the Boston area though - I miss MA so much!!

olim78- Ugh, I hate that feeling when it seems like everyone around you is either pregnant or just had a baby. Don't beat yourself up over your reaction, it's ok to be sad and frustrated. And just keep telling yourself that soon you will be the one sharing the good news about your BFP with all of your friends. Congrats on starting injections - woohoo!

julia_78 - I cannot recommend acupuncture enough! I regret not doing it my last cycle and feel so much better this one so far since have started again. I always laugh though, not only am being stuck by needles that inject and remove fluids, I am now being stuck by needles that just sit there. Yup - think I have all of the needle bases covered :) It will all be worth it in the end though!

Lulu68 - Hi - welcome to the board! Sorry to read that your first cycle was canceled, I would definitely talk to her on Friday and see what they can do differently this time around so that it does not get canceled again. My first cycle got canceled b/c of cysts that developed while I was on Lupron, but I was not on BCP. Since taking BCP prior to starting the Lupron I have not had the same issues, but I also had a cycle canceled b/c of cysts and that was a non-Lupron cycle sowho knows, at least for me it has been all over the place!.

BTW - I love how many people there are from MA - I think that it is a good sign :)

Lou71 - Congratulations on the ER!! I am so excited that they were able to retrieve 6 and that it is looking good for you and DH!!! I can't wait to here the news on the fert report tomorrow - sending tons of positive to you and your little embies!!!

Supergenius - Thanks for putting the summary together - it looks great! I love that the thread just keeps growing and growing and I can't wait to see the list of BFPs start growing as well!

jenice - So sorry that you are sick - I hope that you start to feel better soon and that everything is good for you to continue with your Nov cycle!

Hi I am really new to this board but hoping I can join. My husband 29- and I - 30- have decided to do IVF with PGD because we both carry the CF gene. We don't have any fertility problems but are hoping to just get to a healthy pregnancy the quickest way possible. I am supposed to start Lupron on Nov. 11, and you guys know more than me about what is next. I am doing accupunture also - heard it really helps up to 15% better chance, so I figured it can't hurt. (well, its needles so I guess it can hurt...) Anyway, any advice or warnings about what's to come would really be appreciated. This has been a hard decision but we are anxious to begin.

Sarah ruth..... I thought that I was really forgetful when I was lupron. I would forget words and lost my keys all the time. My only other side effect were tons of hot flashes, but I guess that goes with everything we are putting into our bodies.....

Thanks! I hadn't heard that, but I will warn hubbie. I have heard to expect lots of headaches on Lupron, at least that's what happened to my friend. I am a little worried about the stims. How much did the affect your physical activity? Yoga helps me not stress and I don't want to have to stop doing it just when this gets really stressful.

My physical level did not change but I think that was because I had a plan to get pregnant.

Lou: I am so happy for you that they were able to retrieve 6 embies and everything looks great! I have followed your post and prayed all day for you yesterday. Can't wait to hear more good news. - sending tons of baby dust to you!!!

Supergenius: Love the tracker, you are a real genius.

Jenice: Sorry that you are still sick, wish you a speedy recovery. Drink tons of water and Vitamin C.

Baby hopes: Glad to hear we are starting about the same time. I will meet with my RE this Friday, hopefully we will have a new protocol.

I am also considering acupunture. Anyone know how often do you have to do it?
