dodo928: Just want to tell you don't take melatonin once you get pregnant. Even Melotonin is a natural hormone, it can cause birth defects. All the ladies are right about taking antibiotics, bc it doesn't harm sperms but fever will. Good luck with everything!

Hi ladies -
Like many people have said - this board is insane!!! So much going on!

Unfortunately I don't have a lot of time. I went to bed last night with a killer migraine and was down for the count all morning. Now I'm trying to catch up on the loads of work I have on my plate.

I went in this morning for my u/s and b/w to start stims. Just got the call from the RE nurse and looks like I will be starting Sunday night. As most of you are well aware she said the time period will be 8-12 days so it looks like I could have my ER on turkey day. Joy, joy!!!

One question I have - I start stims on Sunday night and then she said that I will come in on Thursday just for b/w. At that point they will determine if my dosage should be changed and when I will come in for an u/s. Is that normal? I thought the u/s on stims started pretty soon after injections start. That would mean my first stims u/s wouldn't be until at least 5 days in. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar schedule.

I'll be back on this weekend to catch up and do personals.

I think that's very normal. I started to stim on a monday and went in for my first u/s & bw on that thursday. Its not until the following days when you go in ever day or everyother day! good luck!!



AFM- I now have 11 follies (do the happy dance) i had 9 yesterday. Some of the other ones are catching up. So i will do my trigger shot sometime tonight?? (waiting for the call)

So sunday is the big day. So my RE is super happy with the growth of the follies. with an AMH of 0.25!! They are super happy! They keep saying age is on my side!! I sure hope so! I'll be 34 in march


Will catch up w/ personals later.. I got people coming today to clean all of my carpets ... (fun times ... ) trying to get my house in tip top shape before any poss good news happens. Maybe im nesting? lol Hahaha..

turkey day is a good day!!! (my beloved jack russell was born on turkey day, she is gonna be 15 years this year (11/23)

Ashleyncsu 77 – I think that’s completely normal. I started stims and had b/w four days later but no u/s. I then had u/s on days 7, 9, 11, and 14.

Lulu668 – Thanks for the info on Cabergoline – I did ask if it made a difference to chances and nurse said not so fingers crossed.

Cheekyone – 6 eggs that’s great. Good luck for your fertilisation rate...indeedy, grow embies grow.

BRMommie2B –am so sorry to hear about AF

Firefly, Syanna, bethanyneedsluck – am totally with you...have found out two people are pregnant in the last week and another relative of a friend who has had an abortion – I felt physically ill when I found out.

Katie99 – thank you for updating the tracker again – must be tricky now there’s so many of us – it’s much appreciated and it’s great to see your name moving down the list as the weeks go by.

Teachermom – sorry, forgot to mention that I put the smily faces in after I’ve cut and pasted! Still think its quicker though!

Me2009 – I only worked out what AFM stood for yesterday ! I’m not even blonde! What’s even more funny is my DH thought AFM was my username as he saw my message on my laptop! 11 follies that’s great. Trigger shot is fine – hope your ER goes well on sun.

Turtle-0619 - ....so, are you stimming tonight?

We heard today that all 15 of our embies have cleaved overnight, with varying grades but apparently there’s quite a lot that are looking high grade – not sure of the precise numbers or results – we weren’t told. Anyway, we have been given an ET time for tomorrow, however, if any look good enough to go to blast stage, it will be Monday. We don’t get to decide whether to do 3dtansfer or 5dtransfer, the decision is made for us. I am hoping for 5 day to allow some time for my oestrogen levels to come down and to feel a little better – have been completely knocked out after ER and feeling quite ill due to being on brink of OHSS. Feel a bit better today though and have had plenty of time to keep updated with you girls!

Hello Girls!

Well, I went in for my Stim day 7 blood and usg and got some news I was not expecting. They want to watch me closely as follies have been growing at an advanced pace! Wow! Everything looks great, 6 are at 16 and the remaining 16 are 13 or less. Must be all the water and protien. As dh and I were driving home, I made a left turn off the road we usually take home to show him the hospital I was born at. The craziest thing happen... as we were approaching the car in front of us, we noticed the license plates read "EMBRYO"! Who in the world gets personalized "EMBRYO" tags? How appropriate and we thought it was soooo funny. Just thought I would share.

HI Everyone,

Just want to say to to BRMommy2Be I'm soooo sorry! I know how it feels to get that BFN. I tried to tell myself that it just wasn't the right time, but it still hurts. I'm moving forward and each day does get a little easier.

I did read the whole board but I only have time for a quick update:
Thanks to those who did the AF dance for me...lol... she came today! I talked to my clinic and start BCP's tomorrow and Lupron 11/25. The bad news is my darn clinic is closing for procedures during the last two weeks in December.... GRRRR! So they have scheduled my FET for Wednesday January 6th. Since I only have one embryo, and it is "good" quality, they are giving me a 25-30% success rate for this transfer. I'm trying to be optimistic with that.

Thanks again for all of your support. Let's get some BFP's on this board soon. I'm thinking of you all and wishing you the very best of luck. I'll try to catch up with personals soon, just got a busy weekend ahead.

hi everyone!
so i got some interesting results from my b/w and u/s...they called me and said that my blood work came back normal, but when the RE was looking at my ultrasound she saw some small follies...they want me to drive down 45 minutes tomorrow morning to go to the main clinic for another ultrasound. the nurse said they just want to double check everything before starting my meds, but that i couldnt go to the office 10 minutes from my house. she said if the doctor doesnt think it looks good they are going to have to postpone my cycle.
i'm very very confused and nervous. i dont know why having small follies is a bad thing....i ended BCP's on tuesday, and i still havent gotten AF. my brain and heart are racing!!
does anyone know whats going on?

Turtle0619 Not sure what that is all about, but I know my office always looks for the Antral Follicle Count AFC - which predicts the ovarian reserves and response to stim meds. So if they saw that, that would be a good thing? no?

Franny -Its definitely worth a 45 min drive to be sure. i wonder if he is thinking cysts? or endo related? Either way, you dont want to just go ahead if the AFC is off or odd shaped, it could just be floating scar tissue. Its impossible to guess. I know its upsetting, but if its cysts or abnorm shaped follies, then the worst case scenario would be a month delay. Maybe its fluid? We can guess all night

BRMOMMY2B I have a co worker who had blood clots inside her womb she was really nerves. But everything turned out fine, the blood clots were gone later. I don't want to give you unfounded hope but, miracles happens. Did you get your beta levels checked yet?
[/b]FIREFLY Again, there is something we have in common. Me and my dh has been together for 8 years and we've been trying for 4 1/2 non stop. I am talking about waiting for af, taking a ovulation kit and doing the deed while laying on a pillow for 20 minutes. Other people I know can bearing rub against each other and get pregnant. My dh said it will make our pregnancy a lot more special.
SYANNA You are very funny, I was laughing so loud my daughter ran in the kitchen. She must of thought she would have to do CPR on me.

firefly, syanna, bethanyneedsluck: I'm on your side too. I heard a news this year that a neighbor's sister stayed in their house for a while. She always kept herself very quiet in her room. The family later on found out that a dead infant was hidden in her luggage and the police arrested her. They said that the sister never had a stable relationship. When my DH and I both heard the news, we're shocked and wondered why not us getting pregnant that easily and why the sister didn't have love on her child.

AFM, my DH is taking his antibiotics very responsibly and the vet. office just called us that my dog just woke up after surgery. I can pick him up in 2 hours.

Turtle0619: Good luck tomorrow! Just think you're taking a drive down the BFP lane. Rather them double check than not! I only had a total of 9 Ant Follicles on day 3 of AF. And I have an AMH level of 0.25!!! So Im also 33 y/o. I'm stimming ok. But they put me on high doses of follistim & menopur. I started the follie count at 7 and now i have 11 good size ones! Question: do they think you have low numbers or/and or just they look small in size, not quantity?? It's ok to be nervous & scared. We are all in your shoes in some way or another !!


Albany07: that's funny. I do have some meds left over, but the nurse in me knows better to sell them back, ect.. But i too have seen those pages of people selling their meds. Its crazy!! Good luck w/ the follies!! Sounds like good numbers!!

AFM (as for me...teehee ) Im just in holding until Sunday! I do my trigger at 9:30pm tonight. My DH is so excited he gets to do a IM injection. Ive been letting him do the SubQ (under the skin) injections.

I go back in tomorrow in the AM for a last blood draw and then 0830 on sunday! I just hope we're done in time for football. Im on a 4 game winning streak in my fantasy football leauge!! Go Steelers!!

I just got my carpets cleaned in my whole house today! (Shout out to Stanely Steamers...lol ) It feels so clean! (i'm not a clean freak..so this is a good feeling..lol ) I just wanted a super clean house before my ER and such.. We cleaned, but the having the carpets makes it feel like a new house again...

Ok well have a great weekend ladies!! Dh and I are going out tonight and doing a little pre-ER happy dance... well just gonna go do dinner and i have a few last glass of wine!! [/b]
