I did that calculator as you all suggested and it came back exactly as I suspected. 18 weeks 1 day. My dr would have me at 17 wks 6 days. Everytime they have done measurements on the u/s the come back as a "couple days ahead". Really they are right on target. Oh well, like I said- no big deal. I'm just going to keep using the date I know is right As stupid as it seems, as we all know each day is priceless in this!

Glad to see you've all got so much to say. I have to go get DD daughter ready for dance class, but I'll be back later for personals!

Cressicaw: That's a great deal on the nursery! CONGRATS on your little girl!!! They have such cute cute things for little girls.
I get 4-d at each of my u/s and boy they are truely amazing. It really brings that baby right out to ya doesn't it?

Angie: CONGRATS on your boy!!! I'm glad all is well on the anatomy scan. Can't wait to hear that the next one is just as great.

Tortilla: You'll be feeling the baby any time now, but they say it can be as late as 20 some weeks. Is your placenta anterior or posterior? Both of mine started out anterior and they told me if they didn't move I wouldn't feel the babies as well. They both did move to the posterior position.
I will register at babies r us and walmart. Walmart is the only place we have locally. Babies r us is an hour away, but they offer a lot of free shipping and have a lot more selection!

Truebeliever: When is your next appointment? I would definatly ask to be checked. Like you said, you can still have changes. I've heard of people having to have a second stitch. I hope they hear you out. I think you can never be to careful. I'm sure things are going to be fine, but like my doc says "Better safe than sorry".

Cressy: YES I saw the video and it was awesome! I think I will get one in a few weeks...so much going on now with family coming to town for Thanksgiving. How is your nursery coming along?

LW: Thanks for the kind words. I have no idea where my placenta is but I'm not really worried about it. I figure she'll let me know when she wants to say hi Did you ask your doctor specifically what date he's going on for your conception? I know it's really not a big deal but it would bother me if I wasn't on the same page as my doc.

AFM: So far I have gained 5-6 pounds and I'm 18w2d. That just doesn't seem like enough weight gain. My doc said I should be gaining 1 to 1 1/2 pounds per week, but I need to have a talk with him because I had extra weight on me to begin with. If the average weight gain is 30 pounds, then are we really going to put on 20-25 pounds in the next few months???? I would appreciate your thoughts on this gals. Plus I want to start exercising because I haven't done anything!!! I'm just afraid I may lose weight!!!

Everything I have read says that if you are overweight, you should gain 15-20 lbs total. Ladies at ideal weight should gain 25-35.

Wow! I had an appointment today and I gained 4 lbs in the last 2 weeks!!! That is almost the same about I'd gained the previous 17 weeks before hahahahah! Doc seemed pleased with that so I'm sure it's fine. Just seems crazy.
We had our anatomy scan today and everything looks good. It hasn't been officially read yet, but the tech said everything was good. Baby A didn't want to show is head and Baby B didn't want to show his heart well, but she managed to get them to move. They sure aren't scared to show off the fact that they are boys though!!
Quad screening still isn't back.

I've been tired and very hungry (obviously from the wt. gain!)
We ordered our baby bedding and did part of our registery today. Things seem to be moving along!

Ugh, I am sooo fat. I do not feel pregnant and beautiful at all!!!! Last week I went to the OB (I go every 3 weeks) and the nurse said that I hadnt gained weight in 3 weeks. So, I went out and bought some brownie mix and crackers and processed chesse (I know, stupid right). Well, I gained 4 lbs, so now I am up to about 7-8 total lbs.

I also get so winded. I can just walk to the bathroom, or climb the stairs in my house and I am totally out of breath.

Oh, and I broke down crying the other night cause my pizza was late.

I'm just losing it I guess. It really takes a toll on me because feeling out of shape and fat is really depressing.

Still, all I have to do is walk into Kendall Grace's nursery and I am beaming again. I cant wait to meet her!!

Hi all

Cress - Sorry but I had to laugh when I read your post, I can so relate to it! At work there are 2 huge flights of stairs and a corridor that is 1/6 of a mile to get to my desk and I am exhausted when I get there. Then at times I find the weirdest things upsetting and after I just laugh at myself.

lw918 - great news on the anatomy scan. What's quad screening?

AFM, repeat scan on thursday so fingers crossed all goes well. Then we have booked a 4d scan for 27th of december. This is one of the few things not covered by NHS but we could not resist.

We are struggling a bit with names. I would be grateful if you could vote at this link for me. Just a bit of fun but may help.

IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so so so so so so happy. My husband is BESIDE himself, and both sets of parents were rooting for a girl, so praise the Lord for another answered prayer! Heehee. We had a 3D u/s done yesterday, and it was AMAZING!!! She has her daddy's mouth.

Dogz - Congratulations on your girl! So pleased you got what you wanted.

We had repeat anatomy scan today and got all measurements. He is developing as expected and exactly on target, we are so happy and relieved. He was not shy showing his bits today either!

Im still so happy for all of you April 2010 mommies. I had a miscarriage on 11/11/09 at nearly 18 weeks, I am absolutely devastated and can't believe this has happened. I delivered a perfect little girl, we named her Ariana. Turns out I have an incompetent cervix (had no clue) Anyway, I guess I'll be moving over to the Miscarriage forums. But I will continue to be happy and hopeful for all of you, and in April I will celebrate with each of you as you announce the births of your little ones. GOD bless you all and your little angels. I finally started feeling fetal movement about 3 days ago (I am 18 weeks and 1 day)!!!! It's amazing!!!

Isn't it the BEST THING EVER????? I love it. You'll feel it more as the weeks go by too.

I finally caved and went to get a bra fitting because I have been spilling out of mine. I've always worn a 34B. Turns out I'm not a 34 but am a 32. BUT GUESS WHAT CUP SIZE I AM NOW???? A D!!!!! LOL I cannot believe how big my boobs have gotten, it's so awesome. I have boobs!!! I sent my hubby a text right after the lady measured me and told him the size. He sent me a text back that said "Dang Dolly Parton!"

I dont really think mine have gotten any bigger. I have implants so I am not sure if I will produce enough milk and I soooo want to breastfeed. Doctor seems to think I will be fine so I pray and hope.

Way to go with a 32D, perfect size.

My husband said to me the other day when had one my maternity panties, "Oh, behave grandma."
