GRRRRR to AF a little part of me wished that since I just got off BCPS and WILL be starting injections this weekend that she wouldn't rear her ugly head but apprently nothing will stop her. I will be starting injections on Sunday a little nervous but Iam confident that I will only pause once then take the plung (lol)... thanks to Lisa for the help. Good luck to everyone and to all the ladies who take the time out to do personals, I look forward to hearing from each of you everyday I have found this board to be very much addicting.

Things are moving faster than I thought! u/s this morning showed 25 follies (a couple 17mm, most 14-16mm). So it looks like I'm triggering this weekend sometime and ER on Monday or Tuesday (instead of Friday!).

Things are really hopping on here. I've been MIA for a couple days and had to catch up on 5 pages.
Congrats on all the eggs retrieved today. Sounds like you all got good numbers.
I see some of you have mentioned an AMH test. What is that? Also, what is menopur used for is it like a FSH or something else?
I went today for an u/s and b/w. There was one on the right (an 11) and three on the left (12, 13, and 15). They told me we could move ahead with the ER and it looked like it would be Wed. Then I got a call that later
said they want me to come in tomorrow for an u/s because it looked like I may be a little ahead and ER could possibly be Tues. I guess we'll see tomorrow.

hello ladies, my RE just called me and update us on the donor's appointment for today. She still has 10 follicles and are still growing. The lead follicle is 13mm. Her E2 is 1250. Today it's her day 7 stimming. RE said that he's positive that retrieval day will be on next wednesday but he will confirm in her next appointment. He's hoping to retrieve 10 eggs or more.
I picked up my dog this evening. When I saw him at the vet, he was still shivering and looked like the anesthetia was not gone. I had to hold him tight. When we came home, we microwave a bath towel and cover him up. His shivering finally went away. I recall the time after D&C that I had shivering. Nurses covered me up with warm blanket. Seems like it works for my dog too! lol. He's alright but just stitches and bandages everywhere. Will keep him in pain killer and antibiotic. I have 2 guys in my house having antibiotics together and they are sleeping together now. lol.
I am very sensitive in spicy food, deep fried, and cheese after the meds. I think it's from the medrol. I will have diarrhea after spicy food, heartburn after deep fried, and bloating after cheese. I'm staying away from these food. One very bad side effect is short memory loss. I keep forgetting things. I'm not complaining but wonder if anyone has these side effects!

turtle0619 - not sure, i thought that seeing follies on baseline us is a good thing! what they probably want to check is the size so they could monitor them properly? maybe the machine at that other place is more advanced?anyhow, i think you are fine, your bloodwork is fine so everything will be ok ... just the clinic being inefficient

Woot Woot Oh my ladies I am so excited!!!! I just went to fill my scripts and insurance did cover lots of my meds I feel like doing a happy dance but I can't cause I am at work and I am sure people already think I am crazy. I know that some people have a hard time with this and up until about 20 min ago i did to.. I am really not trying to rub it in i just wanted to tell people who know what I am going though, I hope the best for everyone. Booooooo back to work now.

thank you sooo much to everyone who were thinking of me! it helped to read your words and try to clam down.
i was so nervous last night that i went to bed early just to try to make this morning come faster. i woke up in the middle of the night having horrible night sweats (DH said i had night terrors haha) ive never had my body go through so much stress and anxiety before starting IVF. i had no idea i would feel so much stress, and then they say stress is bad...so how can i relax? any advise would be great.
so we had to wake up at 5:45am this morning to make it down to the clinic in time for their "ultrasound hours"
when i was having my ultrasound the tech said i had 5 follies on my right under 10, and 4 on my left under 10. i asked her if she knew why i had to come back and she said she didnt know. so i got nothing out of her.
so i got home around 9 and ive been just trying to nap all day and keep my heart from racing. well the nurse finally called at 2pm and said "are you ready for your instructions?" ahhhhhh i started shaking because i knew that meant i was all set to start my meds!!! woooooohoooooo so i start the mircodose lupron tonight and then add the gonal-f tomorrow. i go back wednesday morning for more bloodwork!
the nurse said my bloodwork looked great, and i asked her how my ultrasound looked, and she said "it was perfect today". i was just so happy to hear her say that, that i didnt ask why i had to go back. i dont even care anymore. when i got off the phone i started jumping up and down hugging DH screaming "i get to shoot myself with drugs tonight..i get to shoot myself with drugs tonight!!" hahaha i've seriously lost my mind.
i promise to do personals later tonight!

Regarding Canned Pumpkin - it must be an american thing. I sure am glad it is though, b/c baking that pumpkin and pureeing is so messy and takes sooooo much time. I wonder how the pilgrims did it and how they came up with it? I thought they brought that idea from England, I guess not.LOL
Trying to always keep a PMA and mind off of IVF stuff - I know in #1 and #2 it consumed me. I can definitely say I am more laid back this time. DH and I are going to see Couples Retreat in about an hour, so I am off to get ready.
Hope everyone is doing well and good luck to all the girls going in for bloodwork and usg tomorrow (me too at 7:20am). We are 45 minutes away from our clinic, so it's a 5am wake up for me again.
BTW... does anyone else do the most complete and best shaving job before every appointment? (that't an IVF funny)

Turtle- Franny- I am now thinking of you all day. I saw that you have to go back again today. Hope all is going well at your appointment. Also, I truly get your hesitation about starting your IVF cycle. Once you’ve had a cycle cancelled you can’t even take the stims part of the cycle for granted. Your time is coming tho- I can feel it. Ok so you posted while I typed this. YYYYYEEEEAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m so so so so so happy that everything worked out today. YEAH follies!!! Sticking yourself with a needle has never felt so good- I know!!
Katie- So you’re the one with the chocolates!! Yes it would be nice if they sent almond ones- they are my favorite. I’m sure I missed it previously, but what part of NY are you from? A get together would be AWESOME! Fake drinks in hands and laughing our *sses off!
