Hello ladies, wonderful happy news all over the board today. Make me laugh just reading everyone's post. I had my ER this morning. I was so nervous last night, I couldn't sleep until 3am, then woke up at 5am to take shower and left for the clinic at 6am. Everything went well, they retrieved 6 eggs. I was told they will call me either this afternoon or tomorrow, they didn't call today. I am praying for good news tomorrow.

cheekyone: WooHoo, congrats on 6 embies. Six is my lucky number, hopefully my 6 eggs will fertilize too.

My RE was late this morning due to bad weather in Boston, but the nurse was so nice, she went step to step teaching DH how to do PIO injection tonight. Since I had been doing all my own shots, I am nervous for him to do it. Oh-oh, DH is calling me to get the shot, wish me luck!

lulu the weather in boston WAS horrible this morning...add it to the stress of driving down to reading at 6am. i'm so glad your ET went well this morning!! 6 embies is amazing!! and that its your lucky number makes it even better!! are you having your ER on tuesday too?? do you trigger tomorrow?? good luck hun!! me and DH are huge movie freaks...we see as many movies as we can...in the theater...i saw couples retreat...i liked it, but it wasnt as good as other vince vaughn movies. the whole reason why they go to the retreat made me angry and i looked at DH and said really?? really?? i cant even get away from all of this in a darn comedy movie?? sooo not funny!

ashley woohoo on starting stims!! grow follies grow!! i start my gonal-f tomorrow, and i go in for blood work only on wednesday. so i dont even know when my next ultrasound will be. every clinic is different and so is every woman so i wouldnt worry. everything is fine!! good luck!!

Sorry I have been MIA...this weekend was busy with family events and I JUST caught up on everyone's last couple of days...I will do personals later but I want to say congrats to all the Friday the 13th retrievals (all your numbers sound great so grow embies grow!!).

Franny-I can't believe you had that scare!!!! I'm so happy to hear that everything looked good and worked out and that you began your stims

afm...I started my Lupron Thursday and tonight is my last night of BCP!!!! I go in Wed for b/w and u/s.

afm its offical!!!! i took my first shot of gonal-f this morning!! i am STIMMING!! wooohoooo. its crazy how easy and normal it is to start the injections again. oh and i also got AF this morning!! DH better watch out haha stims and AF?? can he handle me?? i'm gonna try to go easy on him. we are gonna go see a movie today (pirate radio) and hopefully i wont be too much of a witch!! haha

I can't believe I did this!! I forgot to address AFM! me2009 can you imagine I forgot to address the most popular one here??

My ET went super on Friday. We transferred 3 great embies. One was an 8 cell and 2 were 7's. My RE said they looked great. He was quite pleased. The other 2 were still 4 cells, so we are waiting to hear if they made it to freeze. And now the dreaded wait ensues! My clinic does 2 beta tests. With the first one, they do not call. They wait till the 2nd one 2 days later to call. So my 1st is on 11/23 and the one in which they will call is on the 25th- the day before Thanksgiving! I'm hoping to have even more to be thankful for this year!

WOW I can't believe how many posts there are... it's going to take me forever to catch up with everyone... I should've come here earlier. I always meant to come into the cycling thread but never had enough time to actually concentrate and read everyone's posts so I never joined.

But I"m in my 2ww now so all I got is time so I think it's time I read everyone's posts~

I think it's amazing how you all are keeping up with each other's cycles during this high stress time..it's amazing how everyone cares about each other..it's very touching.

I had my ER on 11/10 which was our 8th wedding anniversary and our ET on 11/13 which was friday the 13th and we're hoping that we can change that day into a goodluck day for us We transferred 1 grade 1 8 cell embie and 1 grade 2 6 cell embie and we're praying to God that he will bless us with a BFP and a healthy 9 months. Our pregnancy call date is 11/25 the day before Thanksgiving and it couldn't seem more far away at the moment .

Ok so it was not as bad as I made it out to be in my head...I did take my time to make sure I was mixing correctly but other then that all went well.. I took today to rest I think I was so worked up about it all I had the worst headache, good thing my days off are the next two days:) I hope all is well for everyone and hope you all have a great weekend. Waiting, waiting, waiting for the nurse to call with my trigger shot time. There is a chance I will have to wait til tomorrow, as my estrogen level could be too high (was 3700 yesterday, so if it's over 5000 that's "thru the roof" as my RE says).

bethanyneedsluck - glad to hear you got all your meds issues straight. i've never taken so many meds/shots in my life, so it was a bit overwhelming until i finally got started.

amysbabies - happy anniversary! you and i have the same wedding anniversary (we are 3 years tho). also: congrats on being PUPO! i am a week behind you IVF cycle-wise, girl. spread that baby dust!

you are too funny regarding grooming for your u/s appts! it reminds me of some girlfriends who always super-groom for GYN appointments. for me, i try to make sure i'm super clean and no wayward tp bits are down there (TMI? - sorry )

AFM (can't forget her! hee hee), I cannot wait to get these eggs out! I have a few that are over 20 mm, some in the 18-19 range, and some a little smaller. Once my trigger shot is done, I am done with injections! Progesterone is vaginally inserted (comes with the handy disposable applicator), which I never thought I'd be so excited about...

supergenius- no PIO shots for you? They usually make you do those between the ER and Transfer days. Suppositories are better than PIO shots, but messy! Yuck! And yes, I'm in North Babylon. What part of LI did you grow up in?

teachermom - nope, no PIO shots. i start the suppositories day after ER...i am trying not to think about the "yuck" factor.
i moved out to patchogue (from forest hills) mid-3rd grade. so i tell people that i'm both from LI and from NYC (cause both are true).

hello ladies, good day! I mentioned before about my short term memory loss is one of the killing side effect. I am really afraid of forgetting to take my cycle meds., allergy med, and vitamins and supplements. All I can think of is doing a spreadsheet of all the meds and vitamins I need to take daily. But is it the easiest way or any suggestions?

I also wonder if ladies agree to have acupuncture or N.A.E.T. on ET. I have been doing the N.A.E.T. with acupuncture for the past few months and my allergy is getting better. I still have about 7 sessions to go. My DH doesn't feel safe for me to do the points as I approach to the day of ET and my acupuncturist told me to return there when I don't feel weak after ET. I'm thinking sleepiness and tiredness is a must at ET or after because of all the meds. and hormones. Anybody knows about this?

I'm so happy to see the ERs and ETs in the thread. It gives me more hope on my donor ER next week and my ET on 11/23. Wish everybody have a good Sunday!

Finally started my lupron shot this morning easy peasy it went off without a hitch I was worried about poking myself but it was nothing also started my dexamethasone looking forward to the 25th to start stims.

You ladies are so very inspiring. Being able to read about so many people's journies makes me feel less alone during all of this!

This afternoon, we had my husband's family's Thanksgiving, and some distant aunt said, "And where is your little one? Isn't it about time?" I punched her. Well, in my head anyway. Some people are just plain ridiculously insensitive!

I was wondering, it seems like every person on this board takes Lupron. My "cocktail" consists of Menopur and Bravelle, anyone taking that?

As for acupuncture, I did it once a week for the month leading up, but couldn't really make it work for immediatly before and after transfer since it was at 7:30 am on a Sunday morning. Once I went the next afternoon, he said it would have been better to come earlier, but it was better than nothing. I subsequently got a BFN, so I guess I'm no expert! I'm not familiar with N.A.E.T. so can't comment on that.

I started BCP yesterday, and will have my FET around Dec. 14 or so. I will most likely have my Beta the day after Christmas, lovely! Everyone have a great week!

I've had this nagging feeling all weekend that I have ovulated, or am going to. I've seen lots of cervical mucus (sorry if TMI) like I would if I were ovulating the old fashioned way. There are a couple other indicators that usually occur when its ovulation time for me. Is this possible? I am on micro dose lupron and wondered if maybe it was not strong enough to keep me suppressed. Any thoughts? Oh well, I guess I will know for sure tomorrow morning.
