Claude - Hi! Yes, he does it cause I freak out holding a needle. But if he still giving me this attitude, I just might man up and do my own shots! Then I'll give him one to just so he'll know how it feels like!

Supergenius - you go girl! Hope they get lots of great eggs from you on Tuesday!

I cannot wait for my Gonal F...hopefully I can start that next week! Well, I can't wait till Thanksgiving either..mmmmm food...don't know which one I'm more excited about...needle in my tummy, or turkey...

Well i have totally decided the 2ww is driving me crazy. well ER was on 11/12 and I have been good rested for 4 days that i had off relaxed my progesterone was only 22.3 dont know if that is good or not but they kept me on the 1cc progesterone oil and inserts 3 xs a day. I am trying to keep my head up and not think so much my blood test in on 11/23 7:30 in the morning woo hoo.

Hi all- haven't been on here in a while. Doin the 2WW. I had transferred 11/11 awaiting beta 11/25, the day before turkey day

Teachermom- I think we have the same wait till 11/25. I feel like it is going to be forever!!!!! Last time I transferred with blasts so it wasn't as long of a wait. I transferred this time with one 2-cell, one 4-cell so they were 2 day embryos. I hope this time works but skeptical. I would hate to have a BFN before the holidays, I was so devastated last time. I know I h

Hey ladies. Just caved and did POAS. Negative. Ugh. I know i'm not out of the game. I'm 6dp5dt. Still having cramps and lower back ache. Feels like AF, but I'm staying hopeful!

Jenice: ahh the 2ww, hang in there!! its almost over!

honey34bunny: im not at the 2ww yet, im having a hard time just waiting until day 3 of embies

syanna: ahh turkey day.. im so excited about the food. since all of our family are on the east coast, were going to our friends house out here. they are cooking a deep fried and a regular turkey! i can't wait!! Yeah, i was super worried about not doing ICSI, but 6 out of 8 anit bad!

That's funny about your DH and the injections! My DH brother called and sugested that MY DH take a shot of saline and see how it feels...hahaha I said what an GREAT IDEA! I was shocked that my DH even mentioned this..haha .. Slap your DH with a needle of saline.. He will shut up then..lol (you so sound like me..lol )

supergenius: go trigger!! so if you pee on a stick, it should show up positive. we did the little trick. i so took a picture and sent it to my sister and mom.. a little practicial joke, ( i know im horriable.. I got to have fun with this right? )

Claud662: thanks for the well wishes!! acupuncture! ive thought about that & my insurace covers up to 60 visits a year or massages. Ive been doing massages, but i do have back issues (hurt my back nursing). the massages, i feel i get the best relief for back issues. I know there are lots of people who do it for ivf reasons! I hope it works for ya!

2010: Don't freak out about the Slow Follies. Mine were on the bit sleep side! They caught up! I did do the higher dose of follistim & menopur and i even did an extra day of meds. I had to get an extra dose of menopur from my dr. & thanks for the warm wishes on the fert embies!

Lulu668: Ahh woman after my own heart. The night before my ER my Dh and i went and played poker (were in washington state, they have casino's out here & card rooms.) My ER was laughing at us & said that's the first time he heard of a couple going out and playing poker the night before!! teehhee..

Call them BACK!!! bug the hell out of them!! I wish i could bring you all who have issues to my clinic. they always call back!! they are wonderful. But they are a smaller clinic... but call them and BUG THEM BACK!!!

katie99: I got the Fert Report this am I had called right at 9am and they called me back with in 15 mins. 6 of 8 fert and they were very happy with this!!

karenthescorpio: I am praying that a BFP is masking as AF?!?!?! I have no idea about early prego signs?? I know the pio can mask prego signs... ?? I have my fingers crossed!!!

turtle0619/franny: thanks for understanding. After i got the call back this am, I told my DH the good news. He too said he was worried over night, but didnt want to say that he was worried that we made the wrong decision. But we took our Embro & RE advice. They do this for a living, not us. Im not sure about the 3 vs 5 icsi transfere matters?? Im not sure if it does, I know you have to go to day 5 if you do PGD!!! I also got AF on day one of stim too.. Lots of fun!

The ER was without a problem. Its been a rather rought go, so i was happy to have the "Happy Drugs" lol i was in la-la land for most of the night. Im still super sore, they had trouble getting the eggs from the left side. Plus ive been having trouble peeing. But they think since they did alot of mucking around my ovaries are a bit on the swolen side. They said they are prob just pushing down on my bladder, hence i had to go in and give a pee sample, just to make sure no blood or infection.

Ok I'll will keep you posted and please all of you keep us posted as well.

Off to take a nice vicoden nap.. gotta love those... teeehhee

I will have to log back on and post personals (I can only be on for a second here at work). I can't even imagine what the 2ww must be like. I am going crazy just waiting for my u/s on Friday to see if I can start stims soon thereafter. Does anyone know what they will be looking for at that u/s?
Lupron hasn't been bad (knock on wood), so far no side effects. The shots don't bleed except the two that I have done on my right side, weird. Anyway, hoping for ER on 12/3 and 5 day transfer on 12/8.

I had a bad feeling when nurse didn't call me until after 4pm, seems we only have 1 embryo out of 6 eggs with ISCI. It's a 3cell B grade, not too good. Possible ET tomorrow, they will call me back in the morning to comfirm. Have anyone heard success stories with low quality embie? I don't know if I want to do ET tomorrow, or just start a new round.

LuLu- can you ask the RE/lab if they will let the embryos grow to day 5? Most embies genetically strong will make it to day 5. Before putting yourself through the ET and all the PIO shots.

Actually, if you read my posting, I had an 4Cell grade A on my ET. Yes, the result is not that good reason is we only have one chance that will be transfer into our body and others usually got transfer of 2-3 embroys.
I have consulted with both my RE and other clinics, they all told me the chance is not optomistic because of my age.

But I also read some other posting that people got pregnant by only one FTE, so I believe there are other factors to determine the sucess as well. Just keep up the good spirit. Regarding doing ET or not, all depends on tomorrow morning result. Sometimes ISCI time is delay that might result an delay in fertilization, so by the time of ET, it might become and 6 cell embroy. Don't worry too much.

Whew! the list wipes me out sometimes, especially with 2 large dogs who think its funny to keep pushing my arm when i'm typing!

Of course no return call from my nurse - guess the lazy one is still there then

this is the only cycle i've done without BCP, so an answer to my question might be nice, considering what we've spent w/ them for all these cycles!

2010 -What is your E2? its an indicator of follies - usually 100-200 "points" of E2 indicates maturing follies ( that flies out the window with a ganirelix cycle though) At least there are growing! They'll catch up!

claud -no, my stims should start on time regardless of AF. I did 2 back to back cycles so I'm expecting a weird AF!

syanna -I'm telling you, it hurts less when you do your own injections! You have better control. I even do my own PIO - not fun but hurts less! Did you tell your boss its ivf mode kind of day?

Karen - 6dp5dt - you're too early to POAS - i'll re post the embie day by day stages when I finish this -

Me2009 -ha ha i love it! my DH is such a big baby! he'd probably cry at 1 injection! - hooray for clinics who call back! I'm jealous of that!
I had a rough ER last time, I was crampy for a week after - feel better!

SarahRuth - at baseline they're looking at your AFC (antral follie count) cysts, E2 (estrogen) P4 (progesterone) LH & prolactin levels - dont start worrying i'm sure it will go fine

Katie- thank you, thank you, thank you for posting the embryo growth reference. It makes me feel a bit more enlightened. I'm feeling hopeful regardless of what happens. I gotta tell ya...cramps and heavy feeling and lower back ache still there, as I write this. No spotting at all, though. Something is going on. My body is either gearing up of one major AF...or those embies are really digging in! Ha! Thanks again! xo

1st couple of days on teh Menopur and Follistim are going good a little tired but that could be the light AF I had as well, very excited to see what the Dr says on Wensday. ER date for now is the 25th with transfer on the 30th. The closer it gets the more real it gets but I am positive things will go well.
Katie- Thank goodness that the PC is in the room that is blocked from my dogs or I would be in the same boat. Doesn't stop the cats though. Still down to drop kick that nurse for you too, good luck with her:P Everyone else hope all is going very well.
