BRmommybr I like your attitude, I think this board with all our PMA we could beat their average.
syanna I am so glad you wrote about being emotional, I been emotional a lot lately. I am not the type to cry at movies or anything but boy oh boy put a bowl of popcorn without butter and I get emotional. My dh works 2nd shift so we only see a little of each other. Which is good for him at times. I don't want to scratch his eyes out when I found out he took my last cookie.
firefly I am so happy for you and your dh. (mommy and daddy) :D
happier welcome, BFP very soon :P

hi ladies! oy what a day ive had....non ivf...its always something around here.

katie how you doin?? haha i was actually watching friends when i read that. i love that show. plus courtney cox did ivf and got her BFP! i wish she would talk more about it in public...or she should join our message boards...maybe she's out there.......hehe
ding dong the witch is gone...the wicked nurse is GONE!! wooohooo haha and yay for getting your baby in a box tomorrow!!!! i know the money part HURTS, but you are on your way mama!! :D
i also have a crazy dog that doesnt like to listen and i call him "underfoot" because thats where he always seems to want to be! (his favorite is the stairs, or in the hallway between the bedroom and bathroom when its pitch black and i dont have my glasses on!) oh but he's my baby and i just love him so!! :D

brmommy alot of those BFN's from sept/oct are now over here (i consider myself one even though i was canceled) soooo in my mind that will help us get more BFP's this time because it sometimes takes more then one try...our odds are better!! yay!! PMA PMA PMA!!

syanna you are too much (and i always hear you in a boston accent when i read your posts haha) it is completely normal to be a cry baby right now. i swear to god i havent cried this much in my whole life. its aLOT to go through. i also think even though they are trying to be very supportive our DH's still dont completely understand what we are going through because its not really happening to them. (well your DH is more involved because he gives you the shots) but they dont have the constant drugs pumping through them. luckily my DH is the most laid back person i have ever met in my life, and he lets me have my meltdowns and knows not to try to upset me. he's been great. ive heard alot of couples have problems in their marriages due to infertility, but we agreed that we would never let that happen to us. this has brought us closer and has made us so much stronger together and as individuals. i know its going to make us better parents!! stay strong woman, but tell DH he needs to chillax and support you or else i am just a short drive away and i will drop kick him myself!! (an angry mob of ivf sisters) i'd be scared!! haha
woooohooo on almost stim time!!! good luck!

supergenius holy eggies batman!!!! wow thats amazing...no wonder why you are so sore. get some rest and relax. i cant wait to hear about how many fertilized!! grow embies grow!!! :D

olim it sounds like you have a really good embie snuggling into its mommy! and 5 to freeze taboot!! wooohooo thats great news! i hope you are starting to feel better. stay in bed and take care of yourself and your little one! you are now PUPO!!!!! YAY! :D

happier welcome aboard!! i'm glad you joined us for your 2ww!! you are PUPO (pregnant until proven otherwise!)

albany katie is right...7 is great! keep up the PMA girl. quality over quantity!! i had chinese food last night...i just craved it!! grow embies grow!!! i cant wait to hear when your ET will be!!

teachermom still thinking of you!! hows the 2ww going??

afm like i said, its always something. we've had to get our roof fixed for a while now, and put it off due to how much it costs. well we ran out of time because it will be snowing here anyday now so we had to get it done. well they came today to start (right as i was giving myself my am shots) so about an hour into the banging and the piperdog freaking out one of the roofers knocked on my door and told me i better move my car because the chimney was about to fall off the house and across the driveway!!! WTF?? so i ran out and moved my car and saw that when they took the shingles off the roof around the chimney it started top pull away from the house!! it looked like the leaning tower!! yikes!! so the roofers strapped it to the roof and told me to call a mason. so i spent the day on the phone trying to get someone to come out over the banging and the barking. i had one guy come and say it was going to cost $2000!!!! :o are you kidding me?? i have 2 more people coming out tomorrow morning to give me more estimates. if i couldnt already afford the new roof there is noway i can afford a new chimney!! i thought i wasnt supposed to get stressed?? ive never had more stress in my LIFE!
so in between going in for my bloodwork tomorrow morning and giving myself my AM shots i have to deal with this! my poor doggie is passed out next to me...he's had a stressful day too!
i think i need a bath and some deep breathing.

syanna: you are entitled to your sappy or emotional. you don't have to hate your feeling. telling you to drink water or take rest does not mean to stop you from expressing your emotion! :)

Firefly: YiPee. first BFP on the board. Congrats, you gave us all hope.

Supergenius: Wow, 18 eggs you realy know how to do it! Sending you tons of fertilizing dust, feel better soon! :D :D

Turtle, Lou, julia_78: Thank you for all the comforting words. I cried all night after that dreadful phone call. Then I read all your posts last night, they gave me hope and strength to go thru with it. You know what, we showed up for ET this afternoon, turns out our 1 embie developed into a 7cell A-grade overnight. RE said it has perfect shape we should have a very good chance with high quality embie and my age. She even showed us a picture of the embyo, one of the nurse yelled out that my embie shaped like a smiley face and everyone laughed. So I am still hopeful, I will wait out the 2ww in peace, I'm ready for any possible outcome.
:) and Lou have fun in LasVegas, I so want to go with you! :D

Katie: Can you change my status to 2WW, ER was 11/14, ET was 11/17, beta will be 11/30/09. Thank you so much for keeping up the tracker.

Everyone in 2WW, hangin there, BFP is coming, we will beat the 68% success rate from last thread.

hello ladies, it's my first night doing PIOs, can anyone tell me if I need to put in the fridge? do i stand, sit, or lie down to do the shot? Is it 90 degree angle? Another nurse did not give us additional details of how?

me2009: you're right! it hurts! ouch!

DONT PUT IT IN THE FRIDGE!!!!!!!!!!!

what ive been doing is sitting on a heating pad on HIGH for about 10-15 mins before. tonight i even drew up the 1cc injection and i sat on it (the syringe) while sitting on the heating pad.

The PIO (hurts less) when your butt is warmed up and I just thought i try to warm up the oil.

I think it help? both warming up my butt and oil.

so as far as the injection, ive been laying over the couch, or chair. My DH just was instructed by ME to just go in strong and like shooting a dart.

the quicker the better, it hurts less. I told him to anchor the syringe with one hand and aspirate (to make sure no blood) and then inject quicly and then pull out quickly.

he's got the hang of it, (thank god) he is much better the PIO shots than the stim shots. I let him practice before on the smaller injections.

BUT the key is to have him MASSAGE the area for a good 10 mins after wards! ITS so IMPORTANT for someone to rub and spread out the oil in the butt!! They need to do this EVERY TIME!!

Ok well i hope this helps!! Good luck with the PIO shots!!

My RE told me to enjoy wine cause after trans, there will be none of it.

I'm not a big drinker, but i do like my coke cola! So i did enjoy some wine with dinner! You're not prego YET, but when you do get a BFP. You need cut the stuff out!

Until then, enjoy in moderations :D

after the PIOs, I massaged the area hardly. my DH massaged it slightly. should we massaged it hard or slight?

hi all, just back from us and bloodwork... and supposed to be (!) working :-) but cant really think of anything but ivf... and need to share with you ladies...
so im ready for ER on friday! but because i have so many follies they are worried about my estrogen, if its too high they will "coast" me for a few days and watch it... on monday it was 8000 and they said as long as its not more than 14000 - 15000 today they would do ER on friday. waiting for a call now again! omg, so many variables in this game... one day they slow, next day there are too many ... rollercoaster indeed!
supergenius - wow congrats, you have so many, were your estrogen levels ok?
lulu - one embie is good, i have good feelings about it
franny - good luck with the roofers :-) perhaps this will distract you at least? not funny, i know... just don't get stressed please!
me2009 - did you do ET?
any more BFP's??? we need them here!
everyone - have a good day, have to go back to work now :-(

Good morning, ladies. I hope you guys are doing ok. Wishing everyone good energy today and patience to get through this stressful process!

Still getting BFN on hpt. I'm 8dt5dt now. So I'm kinda sure I'm not preggo. Tomorrow is my beta, so either way I'll get official relief from this agonizing 2ww!. And tomorrow I get to officially stop stabbing my rump with those PIO shots! And have a nice glass of vino! I bought a nice bottle of Cakebread Merlot yesterday!

Have a good day!
