I wanted to bump this up and get more opinions.
When there was first talk of a vaccine a couple months ago, I was hesitant and did not want Ella to get it b/c it was so new, but think I am changing my mind.
Everything I read says that all medical professionals say it is safe and highly recommend children get it, and there are outbreaks all over the place. I am starting to think it is riskier not to get it.
The shots are in short supply, and my dr's office just got them in. Ella will need 2 doses, but the office said even if they run out before she gets her second, that having one dose is better than having none. This might be my only chance to get one for her, but of course it is not the preservative free shot. of course I would prefer that one, but with how short supplied the regular one is, I have a feeling the thimerosol free one will be in even shorter supply.
I also saw on the news the other day a new study, showing that mercury levels in children who do not have autism are equal or even higher than those diagnosed with the disorder. Here is a link to that story:

So what does everyone think? Has your opinion changed? Are you getting it for yourself or your children? Has anyone already gotten it for themselves or their child?
