Karenthescorpio miracles have happened so i am keeping everything crossed for you hopefully a late implanter

oh turtle gosh you have so much goings on in your life haven't you my dear damn roof people probably was their fault to begin with didn't check it out properly we'll i hope everything is fixed before the snow settles in so you can get back to the real business of getting preggo's.

katie yeah it really does suck thinking of the extra pressure of wondering if this is it with your own eggs it's a big stress on it's own. It really does freak me out wondering the next step anyway my friend thats all going to be a distant memory we just have to believe we are going to get what we want most

AFM your never going to believe this 1 day into my 2ww i started having busting peeing sensations like you got to go and u can't we'll went to the doc and it's a bladder infection crap crap crap I have to take anti biotics to clear it. I don't want to take them cause it might hurt implantation but at the same time urinary infections not good either. does anyone know if this can hurt my chances gosh just so bummed at the moment. If it's not one damn thing after another maybe i'll ask ghost. my doc said the anti biotic is not harmful but not 100 percent sure thanks for that doc.
what a time to get that ok ladies enough ranting from me

Heaps of pma to you all and know that i'm thinking of you guys keep up the faith everything does happen for a reason :D

hi i too got an UTI after my ER, so i had my ET today and they gave me meds for my UTI... they said stay hydratated and drink cranberry juice and take my meds.

they said it was fine to take!!

So by 7:30 there was steam coming out of my ears, plus i was starting to worry about the Ovridrel's cold packs melting and the UPS truck pulled up at 7:45. i was ready to tear into the guy, but when i saw how exhausted the poor guy looked, i felt like a jerk ( clearly he was overworked today)
So I was my usual polite self. plus the meds were ice cold :D

Katie99 I am doing well, I took my 13th injection of Lupron this morning. I have an u/s and blood work this coming Friday, then stim on Saturday. I am so glad you Fed ex guy came, he probably was busy with the early shopping a lot of people are doing.
I had the worst headache today, every step I took felt like my brain was rocking inside of my head. I am not sure if it's the Lupron but I am not ready to have another day of the evil headache.

Sorry I’ve been MIA- I’ve been reading, but haven’t had time to post. I’m jealous of all of you who get to go on while at work. My school district has the capability to “see” whatever we do on our computers and they don’t know we are trying for another baby, so I can’t go on there.

Supergenius- it’s good to know a former long islander! You’re lucky- no PIO shots! WOW!! SO many embies growing! That is SUPER!!!!

BrMommy2B- I had my beta in 2007 on Dec. 28 and I got my belated Christmas present with my DD- so good luck!

Cheekyone- YEAH- you’re PUPO! Your little embies sound great. Now the dreaded 2ww with us! SO sorry to hear about your infection. But I’m sure the antibiotics are better than the infection.

Katie- Orange county sounds perfect. Where I am on Long Island is about the same distance from NYC, but it’s crowded and busy. No deer in the yard. Thanks for posting how the embies grow. It helps to know what they’re doing in there!

Me2009- great fertilization report. Remember- it just takes 1! Congratulations- you’re PUPO!!!

2010- I am a slow stimmer too. Also- a low stimmer, so I understand completely. Slow and steady wins the race. Good luck on Friday!

Honey34bunny- Can’t wait to hear your BFP on Monday!

Jenice and Amysbabies- Yes we have the same Beta date! ONE MORE WEEK! Let’s make it a triple BFP play!! Jenice- My RE never lets me go to blast because I make so few eggs to begin with. I have everything crossed for all of us.

LuLu- you and your embie are in my thoughts and prayers.

Lou71- Have an awesome time in Vegas! I’ve never been, but always wanted to.

Skylar- so happy things turned out well with your mom.

Dodo- so excited about all your donor eggs!!

Firefly- I cried when I read your post. Congratulations. I’m so happy for you.

Olim- congratulations on your beautiful blast you had transferred and your 4 frosties. You’re PUPO!

Happier- welcome to the board and the dreaded 2WW. Definitely go with the implantation bleeding!

Turtle- franny- so sorry to hear about your roof. My goodness- when it rains it pours!!! But yes- try not to stress- I know it’s easier said than done, but it’s important. Glad to hear the chimney was fixed cheaply though. LOBSTER….mmmmm!!! Amazing how we want what we can’t have!!

Albany- I had 3 fertilize in 2007 when I had my DD so good luck!!!

Claud- 8 and 5 sounds wonderful to me! Can’t wait to hear how they grow.

To have fun- I’m so sorry to hear your news. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Bethany- so glad to hear about your tons of follies. That’s awesome.

Karen- good luck with your beta tomorrow. I have everything crossed for you.

10bear- I’m so sorry to hear your news. It’s good that you are looking forward. I know how difficult it is.

AFM- going absolutely crazy in the 2WW. One more week to go. I emailed my RE and asked about the other 2 embies that we had and he said he usually lets you know at the pregnancy test date. ??? I don’t get that. He said if I really wanted to know now I could email the embryologist. I did and they didn’t make it to freeze. So I’m really holding onto the 3 inside me right now.
Lots of love, luck and baby dust to you all.

Nanine

hi ladies, I'm here giving an update. My RE called me tonight and told me that my donor had 12 eggs retrieved, 7 are mature but 5 take longer time. He told us that he hoped to have 8 mature eggs. If only 7, he's still confident. But if less than 6, he'll concern. He told me that he would check it at 11:30pm tonight and 7:30am tomorrow. My DH asked him what are their size in mm. RE told DH that after retrieval, they are no longer measure in mm but in different thing. DH forgot what's the name. I don't know why RE is concern if less than 6. Now, I'm concern because he's concern.

10bear, To have fun: sorry for the BFN! it really hurts when you put a lot of hopes in it. big hugs!

turtle: is it because of allergy that you cannot take lobster later on. Sorry, never hear it before. Sorry for the ignorance!

me2009, Cheeyone: congrats to offical PUPO!

me2009: thank you for your info!

Nanine: Sorry for the remaining embies cannot make it to freeze! But crossing finger for the BFP!

Morning my IVF ladies!! Last day of BCP! 4th day of Lupron! 1 more week till Thanksgiving!

Turtle - when my mom keeps taking advantage of me...I just have the little conversationw with her...
Me: Mom, you like living with the family or not?
Mom: Yes
Me: As you get older, you still want to live close to the family?
Mom: Of course
Me: Well...if you keep acting like this....I'm going to have to place you in the NURSING HOME!! (laughing in the inside)
Mom: *stares at me*...then she walks away mumbling
(I get $130 the next day for the 2 months she owes me hhahahah)

Katie - I was waiting for my meds last Sat morning. Waiting and waiting and all of a sudden i get an email (from the fedex tracking) saying that they tried to deliver but nobody was home. I was like 'hell no!' So i called them up and demanded they come right back cause I was home waiting and aint no damn fedex came thru! They said okay, and after we hung up...I called right back again to make sure they noted it! Waited and waited, im freaking out..finally a couple of hrs, they returned. Come to realize that they went to the house across the street because we both have the same address but just different city!

Good Morning, Ladies. So went and did my beta this AM. Took one last hpt before I went (FRER) and still negative. So now I'm just waiting for the confirmation. I'm bummed but ok b/c I have a great prognosis and mentally ready to keep going. I know there is a small chance that the hcg is just still low if I am preggo, but not likely. Hope you all have a great day! PMA to all!

3dw

Post by albany07 »

Wow, I have never been soooooo anxious in previous cycles. This 3dw is killing me! It's the first time dh and I have had more than one - wow, i wonder if this worry escalates with the number of children you have as well  ???

Tohavefun and 10Bear - I know just how devastating this time can be, it's ok to grieve. When your done, get up and keep marching on. One thing that always helps me is to get a new goal (for some reason I always choose weight loss :D ) and remind myself that dh and I have a wonderful life, relationship and that we WILL end up going to Italy, Africa and Australia (those are on our "must accomplish" travel list.

karenthescorpio - you just never know. My beta's were to low to detect on hpt but were actually 15 and 19 on beta, ended in chemical. Nevertheless, they were still positive undetectable on hpt. Both cycles my progesterone was very low around 10 (which could have been cause). So make sure your progesterone is good and within range. My Dr. increased my PIO dose to 2 cc this cycle. Fingers and toes crossed!!!

Teachermom - Thank you for that note! Maybe, I will have a DD also!!! They are such dolls and we already have a name! How convenient!

Supergenius - Way to go!!! There's nothing like having enough to not have to do additional cycles - I hope you have some that make it through freeze.

Me2009 - you sound just like me, yay a twin! Same age, same amt to transfer and same beta date! Backup - are you sure your beta date is not on 11/29/09? It should be 2w from your retrieval date? Shouldn't it? Sticky, gooey baby dust to you - go triplets!!! My friend has "natural" triplets she was totally not expecting... she was 20 years old then and not married. She did it just fine. They are great! Two male identical and one girl fraternal. Wouldn't that be perfect? I don't think you would be able to work anymore though :D :(

Dodo - those are great numbers!!! 6,7,8? Come on! Always better than one or none!

For all the girls I did not address in this message, my thoughts, hopes and prayers are with each and every one of you. Follie growth dust and sticky embie goo to each and every one of you!

AFM (can I steal that one)? I just found out that I am missing my prometrium  DH is taking care of that right now. I need it for tomorrow morning, our transfer. Also, has anyone had bb pain the day of retrieval and on? I never had this before so, I wonder?

Albany07- thanks for the info about your low beta's. I am holding some hope in my heart, but it is hard. Good luck with your transfer. I had super sore BB's after my ER. I didn't transfer right away b/c of mild OHSS. Sending you guys positive energy.
