Hello ladies,

I had to pop in today and see how you all were doing! I saw familiar names and just had to say hi!

Katie-I am so glad you are giving it another try! I have everything crossed for you that this will be your miracle! I think the UPS drivers have to know us IVF ladies and probably have a special file on us. It probably reads "Don't cross this hormonal woman or you will pay dearly". I'm sure you handled it very politely (and this will be the last time he will need to come)

teachermom-2WW? Yeah!! I am so glad you are at that point. Remember, it is no small miracle to be there. I know it is hard to wait but it will be worth it when you get the great baby news. My prayers are with you!

I visited RE today and we've decided to go the egg donor route. We will probably be ready for transfer in January/Feb. due to all the extra set-up. dodo-I will have to find out more from you as it sounds like you have great insider egg donor knowledge. I wish you all the best of luck and lots of sticky miracle baby dust. You are in my thoughts and prayers!!!

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. I feel really lucky to have your support. I also feel really bad because I have not been able to support all of you. I just had to step away this time. I am not done yet, just have to figure out exactly what we want to do and how much money we want to spend. I am thinking of possibly using my sister as a donor. She is 38 so I know it would be a long shot but there has been lots of ladies get PG at 38 plus she is in a lot healthier then I am. Also thinking about anonymous donor. Of course going with my sis would be a lot cheaper because no donor fees and agency fees. My nurse said that the Dr. wanted to talk with me so I have set up a consult for Dec 8th. I am sure he will just tell me to go with a donor which of course I already know. The end of the road is getting near but i am not there just yet.

Good Luck to all of You and sending tons and tons of BFP vibes.

So the beta was only 2.15. Technically negative, just as I suspected. But the MESSED UP thing is that I have to go back in 2 days to see if it goes up or down...and continue to PIO and estrogen pills. WTF? I mean, seriously, who are we kidding. This is nothing viable. Now I can't even be sad with my glass of wine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm thinking to just ditch it. I mean, come onnnnn. Anywhere you look on the web says below 5 is not pregnant...especially when it should be aroung 50-100 by now! Has anyone else ever had this happen?

syanna: Sorry to hear your mom is staying with you and treated you this way! I hope you have other siblings or relatives that she can stay with while you're doing the IVF. My mom was staying with me before and treated me the same way like your mom. Up to a point, I became very emotional like a child and sicked a lot too. The doc told me that my mom should not stay with me. I have 3 siblings and she is staying with one of my siblings now. I can see that if you have as much friction as me when dealing with your mom. I still love my mom and I feel having her staying away from me actually improves our relationship. I think both of you needs to take a break not staying too close like staying together. It's just a thought! Hugs!

Albany07: Thanks for your support! all i need is 5 blasts! 2 for transfer and 3 going to freeze for backup! Hope you have the prometrium by now! Crossing fingers for you!

Dodo926 - I wish it was that easy ahhaha. I rent the 1st floor to my parents and 2 younger sisters. My oldest sister lives on the 2nd floor, and my husband and I stay in the attic. So she does have her own apt.. 2 floors down hahaha.

Karenthescoripio - sorry to hear about your beta #. But glad to hear that you are ready to keep going!

I don't know how long I can keep this IVF a secret from my family and friends. Eventually I'll be walking around limping or in pain after the ER. They'll wonder why and what should I say?? My friends keep questioning why I dont come out anymore and don't drink with them. Sheesh, all these questions. Let the girl create babies won't you!!

Hi everyone -

OK so I was out running errands & I swear I was being stalked, by a pregnant lady! I ran into her in the bank, then the grocery store - in every single aisle ( with 2 in the stroller and 1 toddler) must be nice for it to just happen, huh? maybe I've been at this too long, but its hard to be around pregnant women, I get sooo jealous!

Chris -Please dont feel like that! You have given so much to these boards! Just take all of the support, its here for you. I think that your sister is too wonderful for words! It makes me wish I had one, because thats whats next for me if this doesnt work this time. Know that we are all here for you, & hope you'll hang around! - xoxo

Nanine -I was wondering where you were, so glad you're back! Sorry that you didnt get any frosties, I've always wanted some too, but never that lucky. Sending you extra patience dust for the 1ww!

Dodo -Hooray for eggies! You are so close now! let us know the fert report when you get it!

Syanna -Yay no no more BCP! I hate those things, they make me moody! How they bother me more than stims, i dont know. When are you starting stims anyway?

Albany -No sore bb only after ER / ET because of the progesterone
You'll be PUPO tomorrow! Excited yet?

Sara - I'm so happy to hear from you! I'm glad you have a new plan of action. I hope this is the last time too, or I'll be right with you & DE
You, Gi, & j&c are Jan /feb? I see I'll be over there often then to cheer you all on! Good luck to you all!

Karen -I'm sorry honey. I am confused by your clinic as well. I thought that 5 was the minimum? my first beta was 6.9, so they told me positive ( I didnt know any better) so for 2 days I thought it worked. Then they told me the 2nd beta was 0. Then when I read up on it, I was pissed that they had me stay on PIO for 2 more days. I would call them back, I mean WTF?? I think this clinic has caused WAY too much stress for you since you were stimming! i'm sorry, i know it sucks! (((hugs))))

Hey Katie - im not sure when i start my stims. It all depends on when my AF arrives. Then I go there cycle day 2 for bw/us, and I think that's when they'll give me instructions to start Gonal F...oh yeah!!

Syanna: We bought a 5 bedroom house 10 years ago also preparing for my siblings and parents to move with us. But my father was diagnosed of Alzheimer's Disease in Hong Kong and none of them wanted to come. Just until he passed away in 2003, I had my mom to stay with me after she's diagnosed of depression. I waited until she recovered few years later and brought her back to stay with my sisters. My 3 sisters are still in Hong Kong.

Hi Ladies,

Such a bummer to hear about the BFN's and my heart goes out to 10bear, to-have-fun, and karen :x

Karen-In July I had a beta of 5 and they also had me coming in every two days until it went to 0. Unfortunately it went up to 21 before it came back down so I had to wait 7-8 days before I could go off progesterone and then they classified it as a chemical pregnancy. Sorry hon that you have to go through this.

syanna-I thought when they take you off BCP you automatically go in day 3 whether you get your AF or not??? That is what my clinic does so I am technically on day 2 of stims and also day 2 of AF. And speaking of that, I have a Lupron headache, cramps, from AF, and bloated from stims so my DH thinks I'm acting "grumpy!" Hah-he should know what my body is going through

jenice-good luck next week on your beta and that would be so nice to get twins!!! keep us updated

katie-I think we all have pregnant lady stalkers since that's all that is on our minds!! I am constantly staring at their bellies with envy!!

albany-gl on your ET tomorrow!!! How many are you putting back?

I will do more personals later-had a couple free minutes at work!!!

Thanks all for your feedback. I appreciate my clinics efforts to give every little opportunity a chance, but it just doesn't make sense. We naturally potentially have a 0-5 level of hcg in our blood all the time. My complete blood panel back in april had my hcg as 1.8 (when I did thryoid test). I'm very frustrated.

to have fun, 10 bear and karen, I'm sorry for your BFN. I hate that you have to go through that.

Supergenius congrats on having 13 fertilized

Albany good luck with ET tomorrow. My bbs started hurting a couple days before ER, I don't remember that happening before.

me2009 3 embies transferred...I'm glad your clinic is giving you every chance to get preggo

dodo I think 7 mature is a great number, especially since I've never had more than 4

AFM, I had my ER today. They got 4 eggs. They will be doing ICSI on them and I'll find out about fert. tomorrow. It looks like ET will be 11/22. My first beta is scheduled for 12/4. I will probably POAS before then, I can't help myself. Plus, we're suppose to have family pictures made that day. If I get a neg, I don't want to look like I've been crying. So I want to get that out of my way early if it turns out that way. I don't know how some of you can eat (especially chinese, albany) after ER. Anesthesia doesn't make me feel so well afterward. I've tried to eat twice today, and thrown up after both times.

To those I didn't address, I wish you all sticky baby dust.
