Laughing!

Hahahaha!!! Kerribell, I am soooo sorry for planting evil food eating ideas in your head. You see, food loves me and I love Propofol! :D I actually look forward to ER. I have literally puked less than 5 times in my whole life (this includes childhood, adolescence, the college years etc). Congrats on your ER, good fortune on your fert report and ET.

Well I got my prometrium and asked the nurse about the bb situation - she said it was totally normal due to the HCG injection, as it causes the sypmtoms of pregnancy to appear! I also tried to get an update on our embabies and surprisingly the nurse was quite willing to cooperate (sometimes they are really short with you on the phone) but after contacting the embryologist, she realized that they don't check them on day 2. They let them rest, but gave me an option to check and I declined. Here I am, already a nosey mother!

Claud662 - Thanks!!! I hope the RE allows me to put all 3 back. Guidelines say up to 2, but it has been such a long, hard and rocky road. DH and I were devastated when we heard his levels fell to 8 million from 53 million. Also, how do you choose which one to leave behind??? What if that one was meant to be my baby. I will work hard at turning on all my charm. I am also armed with some studies to show him - just in case.

Katie99 - sooooo excited! Can you tell! :D Thanks for all your hard work on the update board! I love your story about the pregnant lady stalker  .

syanna - full house huh? Be careful on those stairs after ER and ET!!!

dodo - it must be hard to be away from your sisters - I hope you get to go back often to see them. Hopefully they will come here and see you after you have your babies!

Hang in there karenthescorpio! I just picked up some fancy sparkling pomegranate and sparkling pear juice! If you want to hang in there - it's a great alternative to the vino, if not have the vino - you deserve it.

Katie99 Thank you so much on the update. It really helps me to see how everyone is doing.
Claud662 I know how you feel, I have a lupron headache and I am on my af, day 4, I am bloated and irritated. I took my daughter and niece to a skating event today, the lights, music and people where driving me crazy.
How long do you usually have to stay on the Lupron?(I am on day 14) This is my first IVF and last d/t cost. So I am learning everything as I go.

cheekyone, me2009 : I think I have UTI too, I'm calling RE today. What antibiotics your RE prescribed? Will they hurt the chance of implantation?

hey everyone

hey lulu it worried me alot too but after finding info from here as we'll as asking my normal doc and RE you should be fine I am taking cephalexin and drinking plenty of fluids and also cranberry juice. I had to have a urine sample done quick so they knew what anti biotic i had to be on. As to hurting implantation my doc said can hurt more by having an infection if not fixed. I'm nearly all fixed up now so fingers crossed there are no more dramas lol :D

hi all, just a quick update from me, couldnt resist
im just back from my ER, 16 eggs! 15 of them mature and 1 borderline mature... i feel fine a little sore, but effects of the anesthesia (which i was worried about the most, because of my previous experience) are fine.. so far so good
now negative news... my DH sample was no good at all, he even had better ones before... the count is low, motility is bad and 90% abnormals - wow... as a result we are going 100% icsi... we are disappointed especially after DH not drinking at all for a while and taking vitamins etc... oh well, he is having a beer now :-) even though its 1p.m. here :-)
im praying for some good embies! and have to switch my mind off now
good luck ladies, im thinking of all of you and praying!

I am so sorry to those with the BFNs. This is just my first IVF cycle, but I can imagine the frustration and sadness you feel. All my best wishes for the future.

AFM- Had my baseline u/s, bw this morning. They didn't tell me much except that my lining was 4, and that both ovaries looked good. I guess I am just waiting for them to call later with instructions. Hopefully stims tonight or myabe tomorrow?! We will see. I am ready for this all to be over with already!

Thanks so much for the caring words and encouragement. I called my RE back and said I'm not continuring these meds. I'm not pregnant. But will go for b/w tomorrow just to appease them. He said if it goes up then he wants me to resume. I told him of my history of hcg from b/w early prior to IVF that was 1.8 and 4. Whatever. I'm going to exercise today and have some wine with dinner tonight. Tired of all of this. Hope you guys have an awesome day. PMA to all! We all deserve a BFP! Oh and Happy Friday!

Ok...got my calendar and I'm a little bit confused. Seems like this is going to take forever. I'll actually have to transfer over to the Jan. group! Have any of you done anything similar to this??

12/21 - Start Lupron

But oh well it will all be worth it in the end. Last appointment is Monday and if all goes well then the retrevial will be the 25th still, i can't wait. I the ladies who have done this befor what do you feel like after the procedure? what shouldI expect when I wake up?

Riley baby maybe
That sounds very similar to my protocol. I started bc oct 11th and took 2 packs back to back skipping the sugar pills then did lupron nov 11 my baseline ultrasound isn't untill nov 25th then start stims nov 26th procedure will be sometime the week of dec 7th. Mine was intentionally scheduled this way because I had to work a lot to come up with the money to pay for this and wouldn't be ready until then. Some clinics will arrange things so that they don't have all the women doing ivf at the same time that may be why they have stretched it out for you. My last clinic did that to me not by my choice for this reason. You could call them and ask If you could go sooner! Maybe they would do it. You never know! Good luck!

good morning girls!!

albany good luck today! i am thinking of you! i cant wait till you get home so you are PUPO!!!!!! WOOOOHOOOO :D

2010 wooohooo on 15 mature eggs!!! thats a TON to work with so i think you have a great chance doing icsi to have some great embies to put back! and ya might even get some to freeze! i hope you are feeling better! :)

katie my dear you are awesome as always! are you still going through your baby in a box? did AF show her evil face yet? i hate stalking pregnant woman!! the ones that are outside bars smoking really tick me off!! over the summer our friends who just had a baby invited us up to their friends cabin on a lake for a weekend. there were 5 other couples our age there....all of them with babies and 2 of them pregnant again!! i was in baby hell!! we decided to tell everyone that we had to go home and take care of our dog and we left early....we just couldnt handle it. thank god for my doggie piper...he cheers me up like nobody else can. what kind of dogs do you have?

syanna- i have no idea how you are keeping this all a secret from your whole family while they are in the same building!!! thats crazy! its so hard to come up with reasons not to go out with friends. my next door neighbor just invited me over tonight at 8pm for a "passion" party shes throwing. haha like i want to go and talk about sex toys with a bunch of people right now! plus...i have to take my meds at 9pm. should i show up an hour late and be rude or leave for a few minutes after an hour and be rude?? it would be nice to leave my house for the night and try not to think about my bw/us tomorrow, but WTH?? i dont know haha i told her "if i'm not busy i'll come over" i dont even know what that means haha

riley- that seems like a long time to be on BCP's. is your clinic closed around the holidays cause it looks like they are keeping you on BCP's to work around the holidays..IDK...it seems really long to me...i hate waiting!!!!

afm- my roof is done!! wooohoo its nice and quite...too quite...now i'm thinking ivf again! last night i felt like my neck was really tight and swollen...not my throat, but my neck...i dont know what thats about. i feel like a have a double chin!! i dont feel sick and i'm not in pain, its just very uncomfortable feeling. possible side effects from the meds?? its feeling a little better today. not as uncomfortable as last night. could it be my thyroid acting up from the meds? i dont want to call my RE because of my fear of being canceled. i have my B/W and U/S tomorrow morning so when they call me back tomorrow to let me know whats going on i might say something then...i dont know....i have become a hypochondirac!! i'm also very bloated feeling....fun fun!!

Riley baby maybe: Yes, that is close to my schedule for my first IVF. I was shocked. We decided in early August that we were going to give it a try, and my transfer wasn’t until November 1. This round, I’m doing an FET, which is a lot less invasive. It’ll be about a 1 month process. Started BCP on 11/9, and Transfer is on 12/16.

Bethanyneedsluck: It seems like everyone is totally different after ER. I never felt too bad, but slept forever, although my husband and the nurses said immediately when I came too I was saying funny things. The morning of, there was a white couple, a black couple, and an Asian couple all doing it at the same time, and we were all joking with the clinic that we’d all know if they screwed up! Since I had an IV, I was totally full of liquids, and lost 5 lbs overnight. The next day I felt pretty much fine. Transfer was simple. They had me get a Valium, but after I found out it was just like an IUI, I decided not to take it, and went to a big breakfast with my family immediately afterwards (it was my dad’s BDay). Hopefully it’ll be a breeze for you!

AFM: Everything is underway for "Hope" (our frozen emby's temporary name; we're hoping she'll do better than "Grace and Faith", who sadly didn't make it on IVF #1) to come safely back into her mommy on 12/16. My beta will be 12/26. Hopefully a late Christmas present!
