I got a message from the embryologist today. The one egg that fertilized first is dividing but not like the would like it to be. The two eggs that matured the next day and had ICSI, actually fertilized. They want to transfer tomorrow, which, if they all make it, will be one day 3 embryo and two day 2 embryos. Who knows what my chances will be. I don't know if they even grade day 2 embies. I'm trying to remain optimistic, maybe I can kiss a horse's ass too!

Kerribell- haven't had my beta yet, it will be wednesday of this coming week. I just did a POAS by clear blue easy it just tells you not pregnant or pregnant.Said I'm prego, that was my first test taken. Today I am 11dpt2d embryo. To answer your :?: I had 2 2PN which means 2pronuciuli something like that which was a day 1 basically. They thawed and divided to a 2-cell and a 4- cell embryo which means they turned into 2 2day embies before transfer. Good luck tomorrow on transfer with your embies. Sounds like you have some good embies they are more developed than mine were. Just "NEIGH, NEIGH when your getting your transfer

Gi- My good old friend, nice to hear from you and thank you. I still have to take a few more POAS to really believe it but haven't seen those words in a long time. I see you will be starting in January well, I'll be crashing in on you to see how you are doing. you were right about these frosties every one of them has a chance. I'm starting to feel some nausea, I don't know if it is all the excitement or what. With my DD I was so much nausea the first 4 months which I heard was good cause the hormones go up fast then but make you sick. I'll hug a toilet I don't care. Take care and enjoy the holidays. I'll be thinking and praying for u :D

cheekyone: Thanks for the info, I had MD call in a RX for Cephalexin yesterday. After one day of antibiotic & a full bottle of cranberry juice, I feel much better today.

me2009: Stay away from POAS, they are evil. If it's positive, it could be from the HCG shot, if it's negative, doesn't mean you not pregnant. So wait at least 10 days to do them or you will drive youself crazy. Wishing all embabies stick like a glue! :D

Turtle: I think you should do the message couple days before ER. You might be sore after ER, needs plenty rest to get ready for ET. Have fun at the message, sounds like a great idea to relax before ER. :D :D

Jenice: Congrats, you PUPO girl!!!!

Hi everyone -

I just wrote this long post & the computer ate it! I hate when that happens!
I was MIA yesterday & you girls went on a typing frenzy it seems!
So this is the 1st time I'm on estrace instead of BCP, so I was confused when i got AF,full AF - 3 days worth! I mean CRAMPY! The kind of crampy that makes you whine!!!! So I figured I was going to end up delayed since my baseline is 12/1 no matter what. So i called and she told me that since I've pretty much spent the whole summer & fall cycling that my body isnt even in charge anymore & that the RE says its fine. HUH? I dont get it? so at baseline I'll be at cycle day 15? they insist that it doesnt make a difference. I have been over suppressed each time so far, I assume he wants be to be just a little suppressed this time?
They had better be right, because if ay baseline I hear anything that sounds like oh, your E2 is too high, or your LH, sorry wait til next month - I swear i will flip out! I mean I know that my RE is good, he's been at this for a long time, but this one has me really confused! maybe he's hoping that this way I'll have a better AFC? Now I really cant wait for baseline!

Jenice -I dont want to move you til its official, but WHHOOO HOOO!!! :D I think you better pucker up!

gi - I love when you crash! I've been lurking for you & j&c & ray of sunshine! Miss you!! crosssed for you as always! - xoxo

franny -They usually dont count the ones less than 10mm you have to ask them outright to please make you happy & count them. You asked about the pups? we have an elderly great dane (casey) and a 7 month old terror of an English mastiff (gracie) she was my Dh's consolation prize to me when I was cancelled in june - she'a a big mush, but she is already 80 lbs with a puppy brain, so she doesnt know her own strength - too funny! until she knocks you over in her enthusiasim to kiss you! For your own peace of mind, please ask them for the under 10 count - crossed for them to catch up!!

amysbabies 8dp3dt - is way too early!! try again at 11 dp - GL!

Supergenius & Kerribell -wishing you both good luck for your ETs tomorrow!

I'm sorry I missed so many but you are all in my thoughts & prayers!
xoxo

Don't you hate it when you buy an outfit, bring it home to wash, and when you put it back on, you have to stretch it out in a million ways to make it look like it did in the store. So frustrating! Sorry, had to vent. I've got a hot date tonight and had to vent.

Congrats Jenice! This is wonderful news.

On an unrelated note, yesterday I had my baseline U/S and E2. They gave me the ok to start stimming tonight :D but my baseline E2 seemed high at 53. On the message they said that they like it to be below 50-75. I am sure that they would cancel my cycle if I wasnt suppressed enough, but 53 sounds high compared to other baseline numbers I've seen from others. Has anyone else had a similar number?

Hope you are all having a great weekend!

2010-WOW! 16 eggs?? That’s so awesome. Can’t wait to hear the fertilization report.

Ashley- So sorry to hear your news. Rant away my friend- you deserve it! That’s what we’re here for.

Mizzy- welcome! I was on pretty much the same doses of meds and had the same response. I have low ovarian reserve so I respond poorly to meds. The last 2 cycles my RE had me skip the BCP and go straight to stims. The 1st cycle I had a dominant follicle, but the 2nd cycle worked and I got 7 eggs, 5 of which fertilized and 3 great embies transferred. Were you on BCP before you started the stims?

Me2009- I take estrace orally 2x a day and do endometrin 3 times a day up the “v-jj” you’re funny! I so badly want to take a HPT, but I’m so afraid to do it!!

Amysbabies, Jenice and Happier- this 2ww surely seems like a 2MONTH wait!! 5 more days! I try to put it out of my mind, but it is IMPOSSIBLE! Do any of you feel anything yet? I have been feeling some light pinching and a little nauseous, but I am so afraid to let myself think they are pregnancy symptoms.

Turtle Franny- Hopefully there were other small ones there that will catch up since 10mm is not that big yet. If there are smaller ones they will have plenty of time to catch up. Go for your massage soon so you can try to relax and take some of the stress away. I know it’s easier said than done. So glad your roof is done and you have some peace and quiet now.

JENICE_ just read your new post! WOO HOOO!!!! Congratulations!! That is so exciting! I got goose bumps when I read you’re pregnant. I think it’s gonna be a great day for BFP’s on Wednesday!!! You are starting us off right!!!!!

Kerribell- keep up the PMA—there is no better reason to kiss a horse’s ass!! Right JENICE??

AFM- I want to POAS soooo badly. I’m terrified. I have 1 stick left after my IUI last cycle so I want to make sure I use it when I have the best chance of it being accurate.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Love, luck and baby dust to us all.

Hi everyone, I will write personals later. I just wanted everyone to know whats going on. I started stims today and had u/s and b/w yesterday everything looked good. I asked my RE about headache with the Lupron.
He told me that Lupron lowers your estrogen levels which causes headaches. He also told me when I start stims it will increase my estrogen and the headaches will go away. I only took one injection of stims, I still have a headache. It even hurts to look at this screen but, I still have another shot today. I need more injections I want this headache to go away.

hi everyone- hope you are all having nice weekends here.
claud- thanks for offering me your numbers to go off of, I just have no idea what to expect or what numbers would be good/bad/scary. thanks again, good luck! also, i can't believe you might do the acupunture yourself...even with all the needles we handle, i am not sure i could do it.

dodo-i think its a combo of you and the RE's decision how many to put in. i think that re may be able to say no if he thinks what you want is not medically wise, but you have a say as well!

jenice--wow wow wow, how do you feel? any symptoms? i can't wait to hear about your beta.

2010- that's awesome about your er, can't wait to hear the fert report.

teachermom and all other 2ww'ers- how are you not poas? i just feel like its such a temptation...i hope the time speeds up for you guys.

afm- had acupuncture this am, but i went at the wrong time so i came back home to find DH on the couch not doing any of the things that he claimed he was going to do while i was gone. also, he did not have his phone on the couch with him so he hadn't answered any of the 18 calls from me. i was worried, not knowing where he was and then i busted him doing nothing while i went to get stuck with needles. ugh! not happy. by the time i went to my actual acupuncture appt the acp'rist said my pulse was racing. anyway, had to rant. i am sure i overreacted due to hormomes but ...
anyway, i dropped my lupron to 5 last night and will stay on that for a while. adding the gonal f 150 units tonight and going back in on weds for a check. anyone had side effects with gonal f?

albany07 wrote:Me2009 - If you are going to do THAT... continue until the day of your beta. Because....
**this is what happens in a 3dt :

1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
2dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
3dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
4dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
5dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
6dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
7dpt.. Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
8dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
9dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
10dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
11dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on
HPT
So, as you can see, HCG does not begin to secret into the blood until 8dp3dt
Also, I think I asked you before (but you didn't respond  ) if they scheduled your test toooooo late? I had my 3dt on Friday (yesterday) and they are doing the test 12/1.
I suggest using the Dollar Store brand - I believe they are sensitive at 20iu (which is the lowest commercially available detection).
ohhh thanks for the info!! :D

my beta is scheduled for 12/2 exactly 2 weeks from my trans? (sorry i didnt respond...lol Im a blonde  )

im gonna have to find a dollar store! :D

I had to go in today for my blood checks, they called and said my prog was 165.3 ?? Im assuming this is a good #. Ive been having mild dull crapmping since the ET & ER (for that matter) I also have a bladder infection as well.

they keep telling me its OK to have mild, dull cramping.. :-/

again, thanks for the GREAT info!!

sarah ruth- I'm having such a hard time not POAS. I only have 1 left so I want to save it. I promised I wouldn't buy any more, so I have to make it a good one!

Does anyone know if Estrace will give you a false positive on a HPT? My RE's written instructions said to PLEASE not do a HPT due to the possibility of a false positive. Does that mean from the HCG trigger shot or the Estrace and Endometrin?

First I want to say to Karethescorpio how sorry I am about your beta. With all the medical advances out there, I can't believe something more can't be done to increase the odds of success. I read that over 3-4 IVF cycles, the chances go up to 60-70%. I was trying to research if success was cumulative, and it is. Hang in there.

ashleyncsu77 That was some bad news you got on Friday. But you're right, it could be worse. It's just a delay. But I know how you feel about the time. I thought my FET would be in Dec but I'm pushed back til 1/6. You also asked about freezing and quality. My understanding is that a 5-6 day embie is stronger than a 3 day. My clinic uses a technique called vitrification which allows them to claim equal success rates to fresh cycles. The thaw rate with vitrification is over 90%. At least I'm really hoping so. I only have one to transfer.

jenice Yay for + HPT! That's a GOOD sign, esp since you didn't trigger with HCG, right? You give me hope for my upcoming FET.

Good luck kerribell Keep remembering that anything is possible and you only need ONE. I'll keep everything crossed for you.

Supergenius Best of luck for your ET tomorrow!

and everyone in the 2ww Hang in there! Wishing everyone tons of babydust.

AFM Got my prescriptions filled for my FET. Going to be using Lupron 20 units and taking Estrace to build my lining. They gave me the choice of Estrace or Vivelle patches. The patches are $200/month and the Estrace is $4/month. Anyone know if one is more effective than the other? I'll gladly pay the higher amount to avoid a cancellation. I also have methylprednisolone, prometrium, and the dreaded PIO. Baseline appointment is Friday December 4th which seems like a world away. For now, just taking my BCP's like a good little girl and laughing in spite of myself at how counterproductive that sounds to my overall mission.

Life is ironic, isn't it?

Everyone enjoy the rest of their weekend.
